Don ran Northwest Auto & Tire for about 4 years, but in 1975 Don decided it was time to go fishing; literally. He sold the shop to Skip Deedon, purchased a large fishing boat and went into the charter fishing business. Skip has owned and operated NorthWest Auto & Tire since 1975. Prior to purchasing Northwest Auto & Tire Skip had worked as a Certified General Motors Mechanic at Sorensen Chevrolet in Waukegan IL. By 1981 we had out-grown the original facility and added two large truck bays. We started servicing medium duty trucks for our local companies.

We then add the proper type, and amount of oil. Years ago we only needed to stock a couple kinds of oil. But all that has changed.
