German Performance Service

We founded German Performance Service in 2006 in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and relocated our full-service facility to Brighton in 2009 to better serve the greater Boston areas German car owners. Our 5,000 square foot repair shop is easily accessible via Boston Landing Commuter Rail, Green Line T, MBTA bus routes, and the Mass Pike for client convenience. We were established to provide BMW, Porsche, and MINI owners with a trusted independent alternative to dealership service that delivers equal or greater technical expertise. Unlike impersonal dealership environments, we prioritize personal, long-term relationships with every client who entrusts us with their vehicle. Our team of skilled automotive craftsmen and enthusiasts treats every car that enters our shop as if it were our own personal vehicle. We provide full, transparent explanations of every repair and maintenance process from start to finish so clients never feel left in the dark about their vehicles care.

Our entire staff brings a combined 40+ years of specialized experience caring for German automobiles of all makes and models. Our owner, Marc Feinstein, spent more than six years as Crew Chief and Race Engineer for Turner Motorsport, Americas leading BMW race team that won championships in 2003, 2004, 2006, and 2007. Marc remains actively involved in daily service operations, working on everything from routine oil changes to full engine and differential rebuilds for client vehicles. He specializes in diagnosing the most uncommon, difficult, and previously unsolvable problems that other shops are unable to resolve for German car owners. Our technician Chris Spartichino holds certification from the BMW F.A.S.T. Track program and brings additional specialized expertise to our teams repair capabilities.
