The engine air filter is just another example of a very inexpensive part that has to do a tremendous amount of work. And when it works, everything goes well. But, when it doesn't, well, it can lead to costly problems. Of course, your manufacturer recommends intervals for changing your air filter. But like most service intervals, where and how you drive your car affects when your filter needs to be changed. Check with your Green & White Automotive service adviser for your recommended replacement internal.

I brought my car here for a fix that the dealership said would take at least a week, and they had my car completely ready within about 24 hours of dropping it off! I don't know a ton about cars and I'm always nervous to bring my car in for any sort of maintenance, but definitely no need to be nervous here - they were incredibly kind and explained what was going on and what our options were in a way that made sense. They gave a receipt with a total breakdown of payment including labor and parts so I knew exactly where my payment was being allocated to. Highly recommend!

I'm going to start by saying, I was once a reliable, regular customer to this business. For years at that and I believed them to be an honest mechanic shop. My recent encounter leaves me thinking otherwise. I went in for a diagnostic on my A/C, which they charged me $69.00 for, due to it not blowing cold air as it should indicating it is leaking freon.

I was called the next day for a quote nearing $2500 with them stating basically the entire system needs to be replaced with multiple leaks observed. This did not sound right to me as my A/C was working, it just wasn't as cold as it should be. Needless to say, I took my vehicle to another reputable mechanic in the area, highly regarded by the community for a second opinion.

I showed them a print of the quote given by Green and White and they were dumbfounded by what they saw. They didn't understand why the cost of labor was so high for the repairs quoted and they didn't understand why they were recommending the entire system be replaced. They even said it doesn't look like they even attempted to diagnose the problem rather just took a "shotgun" approach of saying "fix everything".

The second mechanic shop was able to diagnose my leak by refilling the AC with freon and adding dye. They located a slow leak on ONE of the hoses of the AC system. They further stated NO actions were taken by Green and White that were needed to diagnose the problem. Keep in mind, I PAID THEM for a diagnosis which was apparently not performed. The second mechanic was able to fix my problem for less than 1/5 the cost of Green and White's quote to include the cost of actually diagnosing the problem.

This left me wondering of all the instances Green and White made repairs to my vehicles, how many times did they price gouge me and charge for work not needed or over charge for labor? I think the community should be informed of questionable actions of businesses in the area. My recent encounter leads to me advising you of getting a second opinion on any repair recommended by this business.

They do not know the state inspection requirements. Failed me on an inspection for a third light. No problem. Bought a light that goes into my lifted hitch. She fails me again saying it is not high enough. I had to google the state law with her. She was rude and just wanted to fail me. They saw me pull in with the light and both were ready to tell me it wasn't high.

They had no clue what the law is. I saw this other man hang up on a customer while I was in the office. I suggest going to one of the many other automotive repair places. I would love for the owner to respond this review so I can update with some positive news.

This is a used car lot. DO NOT be fooled by the mechanics hanging around this old building. As the owner partially pointed out in response to my posting, THERE ARE disgruntled employees who have fled or have been led out of the building who do not subscribe to this bottom feeder business model. What the owner fails to mention are the DISGRUNTLED CUSTOMERS who buy these minimally reconditioned cars through last chance financing schemes. Customers are the real victims and not the lucky employees that left before this shop made the transition to a makeshift used car lot and became a local joke.

No one with real integrity wants to work here and any attempt to change this trailer park mentality has resulted in a high turnover of so called "disgruntled employees". This disgruntled employee is fully retired and living the good life while this owner still struggles to adjust his business after decades of trying. A real Service Manager with integrity could have made a difference, but those people don't last in this type of environment.

Take it from someone who really tried to turn this shop around and failed, buy your car from a reputable car lot that primarily focuses on car sales and get your car repaired by a facility that does not sell cars. Avoid the conflicts of interest that a disgruntled shop owner might exploit for financial gain. Say goodnight gracie. Update to 2/27/22.

Nothing has changed, including the rat infested buildings that should have been replaced a long time ago. Too many expensive vacations and not enough profits put back into the business and it still shows. Still enjoying my retirement, while this business continues to look for success by doubling down on it's failures. The potential this shop had was limitless, but it needed an owner with a spine not a Bible.

Recently had all four brake pads replaced, rotors resurfaced, and brake fluid flush. I can tell the difference! Wasn't having any previous problems but it was time to replace. Previously had wife's vehicle serviced for air conditioning and oil change. All work is reasonably priced, and Joel and team communicate timely and effectively. I don't feel I get charged for unnecessary work, like at the dealer. Highly recommend!

The guy at the desk was straight forward with the time it was going to take and was real helpful with the questions I had. I recently bought a car, but before I did, I got a full inspection on the car from Green and White. I was impressed. Green and White has honest employees, and they answered my many questions and concerns being a first time car buyer. Though they might not be the cheapest, I think do very high quality work, and are honest and upfront pricing. I have gone to them for years, and they have never messed me around.

So far, every repair (8) have been done quickly, thoroughly, and economically. It is seemingly rare to find an ethical garage that is concerned with repairs than gouging the customer. Excellent service, thanks.
