Questions
How often should I service my BMW's transmission?
BMW recommends transmission fluid changes every 75,000 miles, though some owners choose 30,000-mile intervals. Regular maintenance prevents metal fragment buildup and extends transmission lifespan.
What does a check engine light indicate?
A check engine light can signal various issues from minor (loose gas cap) to serious (engine misfires). Professional diagnosis is needed to identify specific problems using diagnostic scan tools.
How long do brake pads typically last?
Brake pads generally last 30,000-70,000 miles depending on driving habits and conditions. Regular inspections help determine replacement timing before rotor damage occurs.
Can I use aftermarket parts for my Volvo?
We install quality aftermarket parts meeting OEM specifications for many repair needs while recommending genuine parts for critical safety-related components.
Do you service classic European cars?
Yes, we specialize in classic Volvos including 1800 series models and older BMWs, with experience in sourcing hard-to-find parts and maintaining vintage vehicle systems.
What maintenance does my BMW require?
Follow your owner's manual schedule for oil changes, fluid exchanges, and system inspections. Common services include 30k/60k/90k mile checkups covering brakes, suspension, and drivetrain components.

I brought a Saab here and was pleasantly surprised to see some seriously tuned track vehicles on their lifts. As a long time BMW and track car owner, I can't tell you how refreshing it was to "talk shop" with Bob and his team knowing the vehicle was in good hands. They were thorough and even stopped midway to confirm the specific brand of parts and materials I would like to use. Their pricing was beyond fair and I highly recommend them. Thanks again, guys!

Found Bob's shop listed on Bimmershops. Knew the braking system on my '08 550i needed help and gave them a try. So glad I did. Not only did they professionally deal with the primary problem, in the course of checking out the rest of my car, they discovered two other concerns, one of which is near term and REALLY important. Talented folks who really know what they are doing and love what they do. Thanks gang. Two thumbs up.

The work that Volvo Bob did on my car was fantastic, quick, and very reasonably priced. This made the car run like a gem after over two months of trouble with the engine. I would definitely recommend him and his team to any one of my friends!

The greatest experience Ive had with a mechanic! Bob went above and beyond to make sure my experience at his shop was nothing but excellent! He went out his way to first give my car a jump start when I was stuck in a parking lot near his location and reassured me all the work that was going to be done before starting service. His pricing was more than fair, and his team as well as his wife are very pleasant and nice people. I definitely will be bringing my BMW back for service with Bob. Thank you so much again for your kindness and reliability!
