Came in thinking I had brake problems and turn out it was the front axle. Got it replace and didn't take all day. Great work and it didn't cost what Audi would have charged. Overall a awesome experience. Service: General repairs & maintenance

These guys are always pretty good and friendly. The are up front and honest. Never had an issue with their diagnosis and repairs. I do my own own repairs but when I am short on time an d it's a bit more to do, I go here. Highly recommended. Brought my car in fearing I was going to have to replace the a/c compressor. Got a call back letting me know that all that was needed was a recharge of the Freon. They could have easily charged for work I didn't need and I would have gladly paid if it meant getting cold air back in my car but instead they took the time to diagnose the problem properly and got me back on the road for a lot less money than I was expecting to spend. Carlos did a great job of handling things up front and the guys and girls in the back got me fixed right up. Easily the most trustworthy auto shop I've been to.

I live in the Houston area and was in town on business. One evening after dinner I went to park the car and the gearshift would not engage into park. The car was towed after hours to Car Care Central and I left the keys and my information in the dropbox. I worried all evening about having a very expensive repair that would make me have to extend my time in town.

I was contacted the next morning, had a very reasonable estimate of repair within an hour and was able to pick up the car by the end of the day. They went above and beyond to get my vehicle repaired timely and at a reasonable cost. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

No matter what day of the week or how busy they are the team is always pleasant and helpful. Never try to upsell us, any suggestions they have made were always warranted. Most recently had two tires mounted and for the first time since we have had tire work done on this car the tires and rims were cleaned and not scratched or damaged from the process. We appreciate the professional staff and excellent work.

I had my car serviced here. Really great customer service. Everything went smoothly, and it was fast. I appreciate how they tell you what your car actually needs or doesn't need, no overselling, no shady or salesy behavior. I definitely recommend this place and will be using their services in the future.

My ignition cylinder on my work van broke and needed replaced. I brought it to car care as usual and they quoted $2,000 since all locks would need replaced to match a new key. The part was on back order but they were dishonest about the part telling lies as far as the shipping truck was stuck in the mud so it couldn't be delivered. Turns out the part comes vin specific to match the current key.

No need to replace all locks in doors. Or programming. I ordered the parts myself genuine oem mopar for $$350 total and did the fix myself. This place had gone down hill after Travis left. I used to refer all my family and friends to this shop but now this place is just a scam. They charged $100 just to look at the ignition from eye sight and not removing any parts to be sure if anything else was broken. No way to talk to anyone other than the unethical manager. So a bad review it is.

I went here for the first time today and had an awesome experience. I live in the area and decided to try them since I had a flat tire that needed fixing immediately. I think everyone feels vulnerable when faced with finding an honest service facility for their auto. I was driving along and felt my truck pulling hard right. At a stoplight, I realized the tire pressure was low on the readout. Quickly scanning for a place to fix a flat I spotted Car Care Central. I pulled in and they got to it quickly. In about 15 minutes they gave me the good news-bad news routine which I expected. Said it wasnt fixable.

So I ask them to put the spare on but, they had already aired the leaking tire up to 60psi and pulled it into the parking lot. I chose not to buy a tire there and ended up getting 4 new ones elsewhere. I did appreciate them putting the tire back on. Ive had shops say no its illegal yada yada yada. Thanks Car Care Central.

This is a follow up to my previous review from 7/8/21. So, I took my car back to Car Care Central on 7/9/21 since the Check Engine light was still on. The only part of the evap emission control system that had not been replaced was the evap purge valve which they now informed me needs to be replaced. The service was completed. They kept my car overnight so they could drive my car enough to test the system.

I picked up my car on7/10/21. I was not charged an additional fee for the evap purge valve replacement. As of 7/25/21 the Check Engine light has not turned back on. Ever since Driver's Edge bought Car Care Central, we have not been as happy with their service. As of now, we will probably continue to utilize the Car Care Central on Alma, but time will tell if that changes.

The reason for the three stars is for the lowered customer service experience. I am pleased that the Check Engine light issue was finally resolved; however, the customer service just isn't as good as it used to be. Hopefully that will change for the better.

I have gone to this place several times and only when they really have to use tons of time or product aka parts have they charged me. I have a sense when I leave there my car is in top shape. I went in a few days ago and thought I had a wire misfiring but within 5 minutes I was shown all four motor mounts were broken. I called two other shops that were three hundred more and two hours or less later I was gone.

I do need to run by just so they can look one more time. Its a used car I had just bought so I want to make sure it's in the best condition possible before hitting the road. The staff is always ready to help in any way never meeting a staff member who doesn't like what they are doing. I HIGHLY recommend them. Prices are great and their knowledge is second to none.

I was 80 miles from home and probably 75 miles from my regular mechanic when my "check engine " light came on. Fellow Yelpers recommended Car Care Central. The guys did a quick diagnosis and reassured me it wasn't dangerous AND gave me advice on how to try and prevent it from turning into an expensive repair later. The charge? Nothing. I commend them for their honesty, quick responsiveness, and friendliness. I will definitely keep their contact info for the future.

I forget the name of the gentleman who helped me, but I got my brakes/tires/battery checked for free. He was very sweet. Easy on the eyes too. Haha! If I ever have any serious problems with my car I will definitely go back here. Thank you so much!

We have 3 Honda cars and we used to always go to the Honda dealers to do our maintenance, but my younger one used them to do his oil change when he got his car and he told us he is very happy with their service, so I decided to give them a try. They have been very professional, doing quality work and keep us informed. I think they are honest and pleasant to work with, we have been using them for all 3 cars and so far we are very happy with them.,

5 star service! I cannot recommend this place enough. After taking my old car to the several other places and having them charge me hundreds of dollars but never seem to fix my problems I finally tried this place and they fixed the AC for a reasonable price. Today, I brought it in since my check engine light came on. They examined it and found no issues.

Most likely my gas cap was not on tight enough. They checked my tire air pressure and then charged me nothing. They truly are amazing. Honest. Reliable. Skilled. My husband and I won't take our cars anywhere else! Finally a car shop you can trust. They don't try to sell you replacement parts you don't need. Jason helped me and was wonderful! Love this place!

This is my to go place because I trust them! They will not inflate bills and will be honest about what they are familiar with and what they are not sure about. I recommended them to a friend who was quoted $700 by a different shop for a purge solenoid. Cori took care of her and re-diagnosed for free, guessed it was just the tank door causing the problem and my friend ended up paying $30 for the gas cap. Coming back for sure.

I've been coming to Car Care Central for years. I have never been this satisfied with a mechanic shop. Super friendly, fair pricing ( if you want cut throat pricing good luck, sincerely, with that roll of the dice), and very speedy service! One of the big reasons why I love this place is because early on my wife, who is not very car savvy, came here and she was not given the run around. They even performed a simple service for free (I think she tipped him afterwards). Good people, great service, fair pricing.

When I was 17 I came here and the man there took advantage of me as a young girl with no knowledge about cars. I went in for an oil change and the man convinced me of another issue with my car. Needless to say this was years ago and came up as I talked to my mom recently about how young and naive I was. I was to write this to make sure no one else is manipulated into spending more money on things that are not even issues.

I am a 19 year old women who went in by myself to get my car fixed. They honestly took advantage of me because I really have little knowledge about cars. My cars alternator died and needed a new belt. I took it to three or four places that day looking for the cheapest price because everyone in Plano was charging over $700. They gave me the service for $580 so I was ecstatic.

I was very wrong. I asked them to do it the same day which they did and I specifically told them that this car has to get me from Dallas to Alabama the next day. Well 3 hours into the trip the next day my ALTERNATOR DIES It was now Sunday and no repair shop is open in Dixie Inn LA. We got stranded in the middle of nowhere in a state we knew no one.

This guy said he checked to make sure the alternator was good before I left. Thankfully we had AAA because they got us a tow truck and we were able to find an awesome mechanic and guess what the price of an alternator for our car is, $200 not $375 which I'm sure they charged us. The guy who replaced are alternator said that our alternator came back completely dead which is rare for a brand new alternator put in one day before!

The total cost for this person to put in our alternator was $300 were as if you take out the belt cost they would have charged us probably $450 there. We will be walking in to their office demanding a refund when we get back from Alabama and their office will be receiving a very angry phone call tomorrow. P.s we were stranded in the middle of nowhere Louisiana for 5 hours, our trip to Alabama is already a 10 hour drive. We are very unhappy.

We moved to the Plano area and look these guys up on yelp and I had some pretty good reviews. I've taken our car there for several items, but the most recent really stood out. We needed a new tires but they were honest and said they may not have the best tire prices and gave us a few recommendations of some discount shops and to just give a call back for alignment when we were done. They were happy to do the tires but we're upfront and to me that goes a long ways.

I've been taking my car to Car Care Central for oil changes, inspection stickers, maintenance work and even diagnostic testing (which is free!) for several years now. The turn around time on work done is great and their prices are fair and comparable to other businesses that are similar. The staff is always great, the waiting room is a little dated, but overall the service is what keeps me from going elsewhere!

My family and I have been using car care for around a decade. We have never been given a reason to look elsewhere. They are dependable, fairly priced, and stand behind their work. I couldn't recommend them any higher!

I am not a mechanic, nor do I live at the Holiday Inn Express, but I am not stupid either. I was looking for an honest, happy medium, between the stealership and a rip off, shady place on the corner. Car Care Central was a poor excuse of the shady place on the corner. Why pay stealership prices at this place and get BS for the diagnosis and repair of your automotive problems.
