Was treated more like a number and than treated like a person. Our sales person was definitely not patient with us. I have been trying to receive a return on my deposit since we decided not to follow through after the horrible experience we had. It's been over a month that the refund hasn't posted, and every time we call it's no help at all. The sales person has been so rude and unhelpful since apparently he is the only person that had the power to refund us. First, we were told that it takes 5-7 days, we followed up 2 weeks later then we were told to that it takes 3-4 weeks to post.
However every time we talk to the sales person, he was so rude and almost annoyed. Overall, horrible experience. Do not recommend, just because they advertise that they are not doing mark ups doesn't mean they can treat people however they want. We found a car at a better dealership where we were treated 100 percent better. With a good price too. I do not recommend at all. Update: it's been 3 months and we still Have not got our deposit back. Horrible customer service. Never put a deposit down ever here.

Mandy and Juan treated me with kindness, integrity and patience. As an added benefit - the dealership made a donation back to the community in honor of the transaction (to the nonprofit of my choice!). No added markups, nothing but transparency. I also appreciated all the safety protocols and individual attention from the whole team. They also made me a fair offer for my trade-in.
I did gobs of research and also shopped other dealers in the Bay Area, and you can learn from my experience - no need to go anywhere else. This is the best Toyota dealership in the Bay Area. One Toyota of Oakland is customer-centric - and let's be honest - that's what we deserve as customers making an important purchase. You can expect that here at One Toyota of Oakland. I love my 2022 RAV4 Hybrid, and I am so glad I was able to buy from them.

Great experience purchasing a vehicle at this dealer. I was giving the proper information and timely updates on my waiting list status. The actual purchase of the vehicle was hassle free. Really enjoyed working with Eric Xian as he was flexible with our schedule and made sure we could still complete the transaction on the most convenient day for us. Thank you Eric.

Had scheduled maintenance done. I always choose the first appointment of the day. Check-in was quick and easy. I wait for my car and enjoy the lounge and their free hot cocoa. Check out was fast and efficient. Place is clean and inviting. They did try to upsell me on almost $500 worth of extra services which I declined. I have warranty covered maintenance and don't think those things are necessary on a car with only 22,200 miles.

No mark up during chip shortage is definitely a huge bonus to this dealership. Although the wait a bit long (4 months for me), that's fine to me personally especially when other dealerships are marking up thousands. Ask for Eric, he is amazing. Very thorough and very responsive. We got all the paperwork done before I even arrive at the dealership so it literally took me less than one hour to grab the car and get going. To me personally - transparency, efficiency, responsiveness are the most important factors towards the 5 stars. Save me time and money.

So here's my story: I came in yesterday 11/11/21 and I spoke to Thomas Rios(gray haired guy with a tattoo on his right arm) and he told me the car needs a new air filter and he looked concerned. So me being a a valued customer, I assumed that this was a serious matter. I had a conversation with him and he said the diagnosis will be $285 and I stressed, please check for an oil change.
I gave him my key and I left home. I get a call after two hours saying that there was no issue at all. The filter had some dust on it and we fixed it. So I asked him do I need to pay the full 285 if it means that there was nothing to be worried about. He said yes. And I asked him "did you do an oil change." He said no. And he said "if I didn't write it down then it meant you didn't ask for it." I laughed.
Later as I'm checking out my vehicle, the maintenance required was still on. I thought okay so the least they could have done was change it. Nope. They didn't. This was a terrible experience. Go to another Toyota.
