I had a great experience with Lakes Body Shop in the past so I decided to return. I asked for a new estimate from the shop for body damage that occurred on my car from an accident that wasn't my fault so I can provide it to my insurance company. Later my insurance company called me and told me they called the body shop and they couldn't find the estimate. I went back to the body shop a second time and asked why they couldn't find the estimate.
I found out that they printed a copy of an old estimate from a previous similar car that I had instead of writing a new estimate. The fact that the shop could not tell that it is a different car or ask me about the issue is terrible. This new experience I had at the shop was pretty shady and shows the lack of communication that they have with their customers. I probably will never go back to this shop again.

Questionable repair done on my car, I ended almost over heated in traffic after getting it back only to be chuckled at on the phone that I made a complaint that something was wrong. Brought it to another mechanic and immediately discovered multiple things had not been plugged back in, proper cooling etc would have blown head gasket if it was not discovered. Where was the quality control before telling me I was good to go?

Maybe it just me. I really wasn't going to write a review of my experience with this company since I didn't have any work completed by them. A friend suggested I check these guys out, so I did. I asked for an estimate regarding a complete paint job my car. I'm still giggling about the price I was quoted. I didn't squabble, I had other estimates from other paint shops, so I just walked away. And I thought Maaco's estimate was high. Geez.
I mentioned the price to my friend who had suggested these guys, he laughed and said "are you kidding me". It must have been me. The one thing I want to say is, before you get an estimate from these guys make sure you do your due diligent and get multiple estimates from other competitors before making your decision.

Very painless and fast estimating. I was stunned to be in and out so quickly. They had emailed estimate and photos to me by the time I got home. Not sure what insurance will decide but if my car will be worked on by Lakes I feel good about working with them.
