Had to get a much needed tune up and brake work done on my SUV. Not only was the team at Butler Automotive extremely professional during my visit, but the service was above reproach. After the work was complete the breaks continued to squeak, as new pads will sometimes do. However, with about two weeks of occasional squeaking, I took the truck back in and adjustments were not only made, with full explanation of the issue with the recommended pads for my vehicle, but the work was warranted by the owner with no additional cost out of my pocket. This level of above and beyond service was unexpected but so truly appreciated.

This is the second shop I have taken my truck to. The first shop had it for almost 3 weeks and said they could not get it to replicate what I was telling them the issue was. Butler had the truck for less than 3 hours and had the repair and price ready! They are amazing! I would highly recommend them!

Butler automotive was so helpful for the service of my car. I called them because I originally had my car at Firestone and they were charging so much for spark plug replacement and two coil packs but Butler automotive gave me a way better price and they went to pick up my car from Firestone since I was at work and they were done quickly and they were so helpful and professional!

After reading the reviews I still decided to give this place a chance and Im glad that I did. I spoke with Jeff, who was courteous and professional. My alternator went out in my car, essentially killing my battery with it. They did a service call.. came to my job, jump started my vehicle and were able to drive it, so I didnt have a towing fee. They were able to have my car back to me the same day before I got off work. Some might say it was pricey, but I was honestly at the mercy of them.. and honestly EVERYTHING has gone up in price, it just is what it is. I appreciate them being able to fix my car and return it the same day! Ive used butler twice now, two different locations and neither time have I had a problem.. even called around to see if the price was fair and it was. Thanks!!

My first contact with Butler was to get an estimate. The customer lobby area (Downtown Augusta location) was immaculate and comfortable, and what I could see of the shop area looked clean and orderly as well. This is typically a good indicator of the quality I can expect from a place I am not familiar with.
I wanted an estimate to compare what I had gotten from a recent diagnosis and quote from a dealership. Butler's quote was significantly better and they could get me in the next day. The plan was to replace the valve body gasket (bad oil leak) and replace the brake pads.
Instead of just doing the work they diagnosed the problem, determined that the oil leak was not from the gasket, fixed the problem they found, tested several times to confirm as well as the planned brake work. So I ended up paying LESS than the estimate originally given.
I also want to mention the handy shuttle service to take me home, and back to get me when the car was done.

We were traveling through Georgia on business when the car gave out. Fortunately the tow truck took us to Butler Automotive. It was a major repair but it was done well and the cost was quite reasonable for the work done. We appreciate that they communicated not only the estimate but the time required for the work; they answered all our questions and made sure we were happy with the work. Trying to find honest mechanics, unless you've known them personally for a while, is difficult sometimes. So from my first experience going to them, till present time, they have made me comfortable & welcomed, even a little knowledgeable about my car. I took my car there, and like most people with a broken down car, I was frustrated. Jeff was so nice and assured me my car was going to be taken care of. They called me and let me know what work my car needed. I asked what was absolutely necessary and they were so honest! The necessities brought the total down almost $300. I agreed to the necessary repairs and they had my baby ready the same day. Wonderful shop! Will be patronizing from here on out! Thank you guys for great, fast service with outstanding prices!
