This place is the only place to go for transmission issues. Andy is the manager and he really knows what he is doing and how to explain things. I recently had our 2010 Kia Sedona van at Waikem Kia for almost 5 weeks while they replaced the transmission for odd shifting. After the replacement, it was still shifting funny and I decided to get a second opinion. After riding in the van for 10 minutes, Andy explained that what it was doing was a fuel economy thing related to the torque converter engaging and disengaging.
Apparently many newer vehicles do this and it can feel like multiple shifts. So in 10 minutes, he diagnosed and explained what a whole factory trained service department could not do in 5 weeks. We need more people like him who actually understand these complex vehicle systems!
