Owned and operated AWS for 10 years with his wife Laurie. 26 years experience general service and diagnostics technician. Team leader and customer service specialist. He loves Ventura and feels very blessed to have the best group of employees and customers a guy could ever ask for. His loves are his two daughters Jessica (19) and Amanda (14), his wife Laurie, serving his community and diving at the Channel Islands.

I took my 2011 Jeep Patriot to AWS after my regular mechanic was not able to diagnose and repair an issue I had with my alignment and suspension. The crew at AWS went through my car with a fine toothed comb and was able to identify multiple issues, and they sent me a full report with pictures of everything that needed to be done. I was talked through every action item and for the first time I felt as though someone really listened to me and cared to validate my issues and went above and beyond to ensure my problem was fixed.
I'm happy to report that all my original issues have been resolved and the Car has never felt better driving it. Thank you AWS and I will be taking all my future car maintenance needs over to you.

Four Years down the line with this team! Can't begin to thank them enough for looking over my family's multiple car care and safety. All together I have now had the pleasure of taking four family cars to Larry & Caleb. I've never been greeted with anything less than friendliness and professionalism. They have always walked me through all estimates and have reached out to me throughout the time my car is being serviced to talk about progress, findings and overall care of my car.
I noticed this most recent time I've taken my car in for its regular servicing that after service is completed they send you an email of the completed inspection report with PHOTOS and VIDEOS of everything their techs and mechanics have done :D I will continue to highly recommend them to family, friends and co-workers. I was very pleased with the clutch replacement job AWS Larry did on my 2008 Scion tC. My clutch burned out on the 101 about 15 miles away from AWS. After shopping around on Yelp, I had the tow truck take it to AWS, which received the car without me there. They fronted the towing charge and just added it on to my final bill. I was out of town for a week, so they held on to the car until I was able to pick it up, which was on a Sunday, when AWS is closed.
So they put my car key inside a secure lockbox and gave me the code, and I got it at night. Having the new clutch felt like learning how to drive stick all over again (a good thing). I paid a little more than I would've liked to, but compared to the other shop I checked out in Carpinteria, the price was similar. They had to remove the entire transmission to replace the clutch, and then put the transmission back in, so it's an all-day job, which is never going to be cheap at a decent auto shop.
The one hitch that ended up being fine is that when I picked up the car, I noticed that the power windows and power sun roof were malfunctioning -- as a result of something the mechanic had done when working on my car. Thankfully the fix was easy. Larry said I can bring the car in whenever I'd like and they'd fix it. But since I live in LA driving to Ventura for a minor problem was not an option.
So Larry emailed me detailed instructions on how I could reprogram those features in about 10 seconds. It worked. I would trust AWS to do a good job on my car if it ever breaks down again.

I cannot recommend AWS highly enough! Some of the best customer service I have ever experienced in my life. Incredibly professional and very transparent and honest. If you're having any car trouble at all take it in and they'll shoot you straight. I will definitely be brining my cars here for anything I need done.

After driving here from New York I wanted to have my car checked out, oil changed, etc. AWS had great reviews and now I can see why. They are very attentive to what you need done, answer any questions in a way that someone who knows nothing about cars can understand, and even provide an incredibly detailed report with photos letting you know what needs to be taken care of and when you should think about taking care of it. Caleb even took the time to look up warrenty info on my car and provided me with documentation to take to a dealership. Best service I've had at a garage, hands-down!
