Donny is an ASE Master certified Technician and a GM Master Certified Technician with over 30 years experience. Had my transmission rebuilt. Donny is great and very knowledgeable. when there was a problem with one of the parts in the transmission that failed, a few years later, Even though it was out of warranty time wise, He Made me a very appropriate deal to get it quickly repaired and handled the situation very well. A good experience is all about how these kind of situations, that sometimes happen, are handled and he did an exceptional job. Thanks Donny!

My car broke down on my way home to Costa Mesa from Los Olivos, CA. I went to DMC because of their good reviews and close location to where my car broke down. I am glad I did. Donny and the employees including Susie gave great customer service. They worked with me to have everything go smoothly even though I was 100 miles away. I felt the price was very fair given the amount of work that had to be done.
They found more issues than expected, but still didn't charge more than the agreed upon price for the transmission. Donny explained to me what was wrong, why, and the work that would be and was done. I would recommend their service to anyone.

I would give them 6 stars if I could. Great customer service! I needed an idle relearn on really short notice, and it was the Friday before Fourth of July weekend. I needed to get this done to get to work on Saturday. Not only did they fit me in to a busy Friday but they also sent me a hand written note thanking me for my business. I should be thanking them!

I highly recommend DMC transmission and auto repair. The owner Donny was very knowledgeable, experienced and most of all honest. He explained in detail the problem I was having with my transmission and how he was going to fix it with better more reliable parts. I knew after meeting with Donny that my truck was in great hands. This place was very nice to me. They worked with me being low on money, for a last min repair, so that I can drive back home cross-country. They also discovered what my issue was in one hour. I had taken my car to three other places, and they had no clue. Wish I would have went here sooner. The female in the office was also very accommodating and nice. Highly recommend.

I had a hard time finding a shop I could trust with my resto-mod '49 Ford Club Coupe. I could tell immediately that DMC isn't your standard trans shop. The car lost reverse and Donnie was able to diagnose the problem with a quick test drive. He explained to me what he was testing for and why it mattered during the drive. Unfortunately an entire rebuild was required.
They did a great job getting everything taken care of at a reasonable price. The team at DMC was able to diagnose the root cause of the problem on a highly modified transmission and make the proper adjustments to keep it from happening again. They did a very clean job with the removal and re-installation and cleaned up everything very well. They have earned my business for life.

I own 2006 Sienna van with as I found out a notoriously troublesome transmission U151. After being told that it has to be rebuilt by virtually everyone I called. I was fortunate to talk with Donny at DMC. He had the knowledge and experience to test and see that a rebuild wasn't necessary. His honesty and skill level knowledge of the transmission saved me thousands and I can't be more satisfied.

I recently had my car examined at DMC after noticing a loud noise coming from the engine area. They discovered it was an expensive powertrain issue and the repair would be costly. Instead of trying to convince me to go ahead with the repair they advised me that I would be better off getting either a new or quality used car. They even provided me with a few contacts to help make the search easier. Their honesty is very refreshing and I will take any future car I may own there because I know they will be truthful with me. I have a Chevy Silverado 5.3 (LM7) chipped with some centerline 20's, ive been breaking and fixing alot of things on this truck... one main thing i wanted to rebuild was the tranny so i had a shift kit and a shinny billet servo installed with everything else stock, come to find out WOT one to many times completley shredded my output shaft, and i even cracked the housing.. DMC was ready and set to help me with a new DMC 4L65E with my competition shift kit and Billet servos..She runs like a chanp beating ricers to fords...THANKS DMC!
