They were awesome! They fixed everything that needed done, they explain everything to me that needed done. They called about every update. This place does amazing work, i have had several shops tell me that my converter and my speed sensors on my car were bad. They wanted to charge me a ton of money! Jim and sons took my car in, took at look at it, and told me there was nothing wrong with the car, they cleared the codes on my dash and got me back on the road. They even clamped my heat shield back on so it didnt make noise! They not only saved me money and time on car repairs, but they assured me that my vehicle ran great like its supposed to.

I do not believe there is any mechanic shop that is as honest and fair as Jim and Sons. They are over the top friendly., they do treat you like family. Cannot say enough how impressed I am with Jim & Sons. They came highly recommended by a coworker. There are a lot of hacks out there folks and these guys are the furthest thing from it. Very professional, courteous, and completely honest. I give a big shout out to Wayne and Heidi at the N. Canton store. Thanks for the great service on my new-used 08 Taco. I was having something weird going on when braking. They were recommended to me. They got me in in a couple of days, looked at it, serviced it, and got it back to me quickly. It was so nice taking it some place where they did not try to do more to it than was needed and were up front with me that everything looked good. Will definitely use in the future if needed!

Our 2014 Ford Transit Connect was having extremely rough shifts, and slipping gears with only 23k miles on it. Thanks to Wayne at Jim and Son's Transmission, it is running better than when we bought it. It was a small part that broke, but that small part ended up causing major issues. Wayne took his time showing us what the issue was, and the damage it caused. We have full confidence that Wayne and the guys in the shop did their best to clean all the debris and keep us running smooth for years to come. Also, Heidi is super friendly and amazing as well! You will not regret staying local and trusting a family owned business when you take your vehicle to Jim& Sons!

I met Wayne and Heidi few years ago after working on my car I noticed how professional they are. Heidi takes care of the customers in extraordinarily way and Wayne takes care of the cars with great professionalism. I went to see Wayne the first time because the transmission of my BMW was not working good. He test drive my car and told me that a change of oil and filter will fix the problem. He was right my car was working perfectly after his work. From that day I only trust Wayne to work with my BMW'S. Price are very, very acceptable. Thank you my friends

Wayne & Heidi are very professional & available! Brought our Subaru Outback in for slipping transmission. Other shops AND dealership recommended a new transmission. > $7,000! Wayne was able to diagnose the issue quickly (low fluid), and perform overdue service on the transmission for a very reasonable price. Car is running perfectly now, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. Very highly recommended.

Wayne and Heidi were awesome! Took my Outback in for a glitchy jump and they were honest about not being able to fix it. Awesome service, and super fast turn around on the repair. They had me out, back to work in no time. They even shopped around for the parts at a cheaper price. Kept me updated during the whole time. And now my 10 year old truck drives as good as it did day one. I would recommend them to anyone for their transmission repairs/services.

Where do I began? From the moment Beverly answered the phone I knew this place was special. She worked to get me in right away because my schedule was crazy and was even willing to arrange to get me a ride. Then before the first impression had a chance to wear off Max steps in and goes out of his way to thoroughly diagnose my transmission and was able to pinpoint the problem without having to do a rebuild. Saved me THOUSANDS of dollars. Thank you to everyone at Jim's, you've got a customer for life!

Honest & professional. I took my vehicle in to have the transmission checked. It was not the transmission at all. It just needed axle repair. They could have said I needed a new transmission. But they did not. And the final bill was less than my oral quote. If you have a transmission or drive train issue, I highly recommend this shop. Totally worth the drive... even if a little out of your way.

Excellent experience! I had my car towed to Jim and Son's right before Thanksgiving. They drove it, did a diagnostic test, and broke the news to me with an detailed explanation and quote. All my questions were answered throughly. The car wasn't worth fixing due to the fact that it was 25 years old. They didn't charge me a thing! They were even ok with me leaving the car in their lot a few extra days due to the holiday weekend and me struggling to arrange for a tow to the scrap yard. I felt that my junker and I were treated with the same respect as if I owned a Bentley!

These guys are awesome. They really care about you and not just taking your money. They stored my car, free of charge for 2 months while I tried to figure out what to do with it and then they helped me load it onto a flatbed to move it away, happily, even though they weren't going to get to do any work on it after all that time. Took my 2012 Honda Odyssey in because at 90,000 miles it was surging and making noise and not shifting right in lower speeds. They checked the Honda service bulletin and on that recommendation, they updated the software and did a flush/refill of the transmission. It's running perfectly now. That repair was quite reasonably priced. There is a reason if you ask people around here about transmission issues, they'll recommend Jim and Sons. Great service!
