Had my first experience yesterday here. It was definitely a place they take good care of you and I would highly recommend them to anyone. Efficient and helpful when I had a stinking mouse somewhere in my car that smelt horrible. They found and took care of it for me along with changing my oil. Nathan and his team are Great! Yak Auto has taken care of my 2006 Tribeca from birth.It now has 170k and is just starting to need maintenance beyond the normal preventative stuff. I attribute that to their knowledge base and pride in ensuring your car is safe to drive.

Nathan is currently the Vice President of the Yakima Chapter of the Automotive Services Association. Born and raised in Yakima, Nathan lived in Alaska for many years before returning home to Yakima in 2004.

My Z-06 Corvette has a unique procedure for an oil change. Technician was knowledgeable about this and did my change without issues. All of the other oil change facilities and shops were not able to assure me that they were competent to do the change. I will return to Yakima Automotive when the change is due again.

Yakima Automotive technicians did an amazing job from getting my car in quick to diagnose it to explaining in detail what was wrong and how they were going to repair it. They even took the time to look up my warranty information to see if any of the repairs were covered! Saving me thousands of dollars! They did a thorough job of going through my car and checking everything and keeping me updated on the progress. I will be taking all my cars there for service and repairs from now on! Efficient. I'm always worried about diagnostic fees that have an hourly rate since I don't know how much I'm going to end up paying but I feel like they diagnosed the problem and fixed it in a good amount of time. I ended up paying $180 after tax for a problem with my trailer light connection cables. 2.5 hours total from drop off to pick up. They also offered me a ride somewhere when I dropped off my vehicle. I didn't need one because I was just planning on hanging out at the caffe 11th ave just across the street but I its good to know they do that for people.

I took my Jeep Wrangler in there with a laundry list of items that needed fixed. They got me in very quickly, took good care of my vehicle and got me on the road with no problems at all. The staff there is friendly and they went detail by detail explaining what was done which gave me peace of mind knowing I was in good hands with professionals. I will definitely be returning. I was told my 2009 Subaru needed new head gaskets so I went to Yakima Automotive for a second opinion. I had YA do the work since the quote was a little better. I was very happy with their work. Later I had a concern so they checked out the issue to my satisfaction. There wasn't a problem. VERY happy.

These guys were great. We were passing through Yakima on our way home to Puyallup, WA and our starter died. They offered a help getting us hooked up to a tow company and and as soon as the car got in there assessed the situation and let us know what was needed to get it fixed. They rushed the part and got us up and running and our way. They were friendly, genuine, honest, and quick! Everything we needed to get on our way home! I would recommend them for sure.

I came to Yakima Automotive as I've been looking for a used car to buy. I was recommended this business as "the only shop they would trust" by a mechanic, to have them look over a car I was considering for purchase. They did a very through job going over all systems, from electrical to engine and gave me insights on future issues, common problems with the vehicle and recommendations for purchase agreement based on their inspection. I was so pleased with the service, professionalism and inspection that they are my new go to shop! I highly recommend for honest, no frills service.

I was traveling through town for work, and my "check oil" light came on. I did a quick search and found these guys close by. Despite not having an appointment, they checked my fluids, topped off the oil and wiper fluid, and sent me on my way in less than 10 minutes. What a pleasant surprise. Thanks!
