In 1962, Dave and JoAnn Davis opened Davis Body Shop in Atascadero at its original location on Traffic Way, with just one additional employee. The mission was to make Davis the most trusted auto body collision specialists on the Central Coast. Fifty years later, our mission is still the same. We grew our business slowly, focusing on providing a better combination of price, product and service than our competitors. In 1964, we moved the business to its current location at 7420 El Camino Real in Atascadero.

At Davis, We go above and beyond to accommodate our Customers by arranging pickup and delivery of the vehicle when necessary. We arrange for your temporary transportation needs with Enterprise Rent A Car, and take digital photos of the damage to your vehicle.

Do you require a deposit when I drop off my car? No, when you pick up your repaired vehicle, you will only have to pay your insurance deductible if applicable. How do you receive payment from the insurance company? Most people choose to have us deal directly with the insurance company for payment. By signing a power of attorney form, you can authorize us to accept payment from your insurance company directly. It's hassle free. If you choose this option, the only money out of your pocket is the deductible required by your insurance provider.
