White Post has grown from its humble beginnings in 1940 to a finely tuned operation, with indoor space for over 60 vehicles.

White Post Restorations was founded by Bill Thompson in 1940 as a two-man repair shop for farm machinery and local cars. His son, Billy Thompson II, took over the business after Bill's untimely passing. Billy was an antique car enthusiast and was the driving force behind White Post Restorations' evolution as a farm repair shop to a world renowned restoration facility.

We are always pleased to welcome visitors to our facility to experience our award-winning craftsmanship firsthand. We prefer to arrange tours during normal business hours (Tuesday - Friday; 7am - 5:30pm) so visitors can see our Restoration Technicians at work. If your schedule does not permit a visit during our normal operating hours, please call or email us to discuss alternative arrangements.
