1984 the doors opened as "Precision Alignment and Auto Repair" at 606 S. 9th St, a 3 bay unit not really designed as an auto repair facility. With little cash but a lot of desire, it was opened with a "failing is not an option" attitude. Quality work at a fair price allowed the shop to grow exponentially to the point of outgrowing the facility in just 18 months.

Steve Landry is the founder of Precision Automotive and has a vast background in the automotive industry beginning at a small Ford dealer in Cheyenne Wells, CO while still in high school. Steve attended Southern Colorado State college in Pueblo and graduated with a AAS in automotive technology. He spent 6 years in Pueblo with 4 of those years at Merrill Axle a specialty Alignment shop.
