Terry first opened shop on Highway 16, 1 1/2 blocks east of the Highway 169 and Seventh Street stop light. Hanson, who spent nine years gaining experience by working at Hi-Way Ford before becoming a business owner, is certified by ASE as a master technician. He is also certified in several automotive repair specialties, including automatic transmission, electronic engine control, suspension, anti-lock brakes, gasoline engine operation and electric systems.Hanson Auto Repair, which employees seven mechanics, also recently added computer scanning tools for domestic cars equipped with OBDII.

An amazing place. We were on our way out west when a tray on our vehicle broke and was dragging on the interstate. We stopped here in the morning and they were able to fit us in right away and fix it. They were super friendly. Wished I lived closer, but I'll have to settle for a heartfelt recommendation. Seriously, if you need your car fixed, come here.

My husband and I were on a road trip from Washington state all the way to Maryland. We were driving a Honda Civic and our car broke down about a mile down the road on Highway 90. We called maybe three other mechanics in the area and they all told us they didn't work on Honda Civic's. When we called these guys and they heard a story, and they were more than happy to help us.
They came and picked our car up from the hotel we towed it to and brought it to their shop. They found out it was just a pipe that lost screw to the coolant and they fixed it for us. We were strangers stranded in the middle of nowhere, and they were kind enough to help us. We really appreciated them. Thank you so much for your help.

Last winter I paid him 260 fo repairs only to have them reoccur less than a week later and be chArged 700 some. Fine. I paid. Then another 300. When I demanded my car be fixed at no chRge I never got a call back and almost lost my job. Now he's at it again and I have a step daughter who needs a good safe vehicle. This is bogus

Had overheating issue on my RV and limped off I-90. Without appointment Terry was wonderful! Denise and Rusty (shop dog) kept us company while we waited. Some of the nicest and professional people I've met. Terry had a sensor ordered to fix issue and guided me to a local campground to stay the night. Next day Terry, Denise, and Rusty had us back on the road by noon the next day. If you have issue on I-90 and your near Blue Earth, I highly recommend! If not having an issue it's worth it to meet nice folks and Rusty the dog to greet you.
