Fast, fair, professional just like always (I've been having my car serviced at Dean's for 18-1/2 years now and plan on continuing to do so). Peter and his crew are one of the few companies that I simply cannot say enough good things about service, customer service, and caring wise. They good to know my first medical alert service dog (@MitzythePomPom) very well and welcomed her with wide, trusting, and loving arms.

I called Dean's Automotive this past week because I heard a strange sound coming from my fairly new car. Peter was very friendly and invited me to come in so it can be assessed. I told him it might be my brakes, but of course they needed to see the car. He had Armando drive in the car with me so he could try to figure out what the sound was. When Armando got my car up so he could see what was going on underneath, he saw a piece had been scraped from the bottom which was making all that noise.
I guess normally it's made of plastic but what was used for my car was much harder material. Peter explained this was more of a cosmetic issue and they could cut off the piece or remove the whole thing. I really appreciate Peter explaining everything thoroughly to me. I am glad America's Tires in Mountain View recommended this place to me!

Thank you Dean's Automotive! My ring fell off my finger, unto the floor and under the car seat. My husband and I pulled everything out and couldn't find it. Wouldn't have been a big deal, but my mother-in-law had just given me the ring that same morning. Drove to Dean's and explained what happened. He removed the car seat, the mat and finally found the ring in a pipe under the car seat. He was more committed to finding it than I was. I had given up. Dean spent at least an hour on my car. My car was dead due to my neglect. I had no idea what was wrong with it and could have easily racked up a giant bill to get it fixed. I called Dean's Automotive and Peter was straight forward with me. He said that he'd start with the battery and go from there. Sounded good to me, so I got my car towed there. Peter called and let me know my car got to the shop and he was realistic with when he would get to my car.
A few days later he called me, said the battery replacement did the trick and that I was good to go. When I went to pay, Peter was there and happy and friendly. The price he quoted me was what I paid. Anything my car needs I will definitely take it back to Dean's Automotive. Thank you for professional job you did on my Honda Civic. I'm very grateful for the honesty and friendliness.

After calling around I really appreciated Peter for his responsive calls to explain all the details with pricing and status, and his customer service is exemplary! My car was fixed in record time at a very reasonable price, and I was so grateful for aIl the support Peter provided in between to explain what was happening and why. He really goes above and beyond and my car is in much better shape than I had left off earlier. He even helped me through some AAA issues and gave me a contact to tow my car. Thanks for all the help Peter!

Great service, great prices, great experience! I was referred to Dean's and Peter by America's Tire on El Camino and Arastradero to do my alignment, since my tires had abnormal wear. Peter answered all of my questions ahead of the service, accommodated my changing schedule, and then answered all of my questions after the service. Dean's use Hunter's equipment for the alignment, which is known for accurate and reliable measurements. Peter brought alignment back to spec and explained everything after bringing my car back out front. I'll be back for all my suspension needs, and anything really outside of official dealer required work. Thank you, Peter!

My car hit a curb, ended up needing to replace front/back suspension, two tires, and needed an alignment. Peter was great to work with, always keeping me updated on progress, and being really accomadating in terms of costs and repairs, they'll really work to get you the best deal possible and are really understanding! Came here on recommendation from America's Tires to get alignment after new tires and my "accident" (hit curb). I made an appointment and service was done quickly and they also found another tire issue and made a recommendation for that too! They did a great job, the guys are friendly and accommodating. The Sentra is a low flying jet now, they installed coilovers to lower the car. Nissan wanted to charge me 3x the amount, I am completely satisfied with the work done and will return, repeat business from me for sure. I'll add pictures, my pony looks great!

Top notch service! When I dropped my Jeep off on Friday morning, I expected to hear back on Monday or Tuesday. The team ran diagnostics and repaired my Jeep by Friday afternoon! The pricing was reasonable, the service was fast and professional. Peter does a wonderful job as the manager and the service center was clean and comfortable. I will be back for my future service needs!

So. the good news and bad news of having a customer like me are that I am a snarky, picky sunovabitch. I am a natural skeptic and don't particularly like automobiles, knowing little beyond the functional basics. For Dean's Automotive, there is no downside to that. Last Friday, I spoke with Peter about getting a quote. He gave me a general ballpark quote of $500 for my problem but stressed that until they could run diagnostics, the quote was almost meaningless, and he only gave me the ballpark soft quote because I insisted. he was quite polite and clear.
I made an appointment for Tuesday. So, Tuesday rolls around. They run the diagnostics and inform me that my description of the problem was accurate, but the causation of the symptom was something quite different. From an estimated $500, the actual quote dropped to $141. Dennis starte4d work, and finished 90-ish minutes later. They also found an unrelated problem and fixed it for the cost of the replacement part (no labor, as it was excruciatingly simple).
The diagnostic turned up a few other things related to misfires. As my 90K service is overdue (which they quoted for me), I went ahead and scheduled that for next week. The true hallmark of customer satisfaction is when a customer books repeat business!

My girlfriend's BMW had a seat that would no longer go forward and back. The local BMW dealership would not work on it because it was more than 10 years old. They recommended that i contact Dean's Automotive to resolve the problem. We contacted Dean's and spoke with Earl, the shop manager. He scheduled us an appt to drop the car off.
We got a call the same day. It seems that a cable driving the seat had gone bad. They had to take the seat out of the vehicle but the part was cheap. Now the seat works perfect. Thank you for the great service. :

Excellent Service! I have been using Dean's Automotive since beginning 2009 and I really like the service. It is clearly explained, professional, I can get a ride to where I need to be while they are working on my car and a ride back to pick it up once done. I even had a good surprise as they fixed a little extra that I notices later. To summarize, excellent work, great service, reasonably priced, and honest! I recommend using Dean's automotive!
