In 1976, Bill Williams and (son) Jim Williams owned and operated a Union 76 Service Station in Rancho Cordova. in 1978 Bill and Jim purchased Folsom Union 76 Service Station that was located across from Folsom City Hall at corner of Natoma Street and Wales Drive. Under new ownership of Bill and Jim, Folsom Union 76 offered full service gas-island and full service automotive maintenance & repair on-site from their 3-bay service area. Over the next 12 years, Bill and Jim built a credible reputation for delivering complete satisfaction to their customers.

Had my 2014 Mitsubishi Outlander GT's A/C fixed here today. Had the new compressor/clutch already, but my husband had to go out of town and work the day after it showed up, so I took it here to have them put it in. The cost was reasonable, they were friendly and helpful, did it in a day, used my part and now I have icy cold A/C in my car again. I scheduled an appointment less than a week from the day I walked in. This is the only repair I have had done there, but they seem good and based on this experience I will go there again.

Great service very professional! As an owner of a service company, it's great to see Folsom AutoTec has things dialed in like: being very organized, clean surroundings/uniforms and taking the time to explain things thoroughly. I brought my truck on for oil seal leaks that my mechanic mentioned I needed and Folsom AutoTec informed me that it wasn't needed. Really appreciate the honesty as well. Earlier this year, I had my catalytic convertor stolen on one of my vehicles and wanted to try to do something to hopefully prevent it from happening again. Recently, I learned about a City of Folsom Police Department and local autoshop cooperative effort called The Etch and Catch Program designed to etch/mark your vehicle's catalytic converter with your license plate ID to make it less desirable to target, steal, and recycle. Folsom Autotech is one of several local shops participating in the program.
It is free of charge and is something I encourage you all to have done on your post-1975 cars with cats. I called them up to inquire and they were able to get in two of my vehicles; a 1986 VW Vanagon Syncro 4WD and a 1982 VW Vanagon L Campmobile later that day. I was pleased as all get out that they were able to fit me in so quickly. Front office staff and mechanics were very friendly and customer service oriented and I was in-n-out in less than an hour for both of my vans; Wow!
Their service prices were shown on a digital marquee board in the front office-waiting area and they appear to be quite reasonable. Also, they have some really cool historic photos of Folsom from "back in the day" that are fun to check out. Will definitely use Folsom Autotech again for future auto repair work and you should consider them too!
