My new best friends. Took forever to start modifying my cx-5 because my old dealership (let's just say they definitely did not give MOORE) made everything such a hastle. They wouldn't even touch my brakes to do a tire rotate and brake check during regular service just because I had aftermarket wheels. They wouldn't even install my oem parts that I bought through them. Blew my mind.

Finally found HM Motorsports. It's like a breath of fresh air. They installed my lowering springs, and they painted a couple of my oem parts I purchased through Herzog to replace the white. Fantastic job, with a quick turnaround. Fair pricing, and really friendly and knowledgeable staff. Mindy answered every question I had, and the guy that cashed me out the next day upon pickup was real friendly. Can't wait to come back for the rest of the stuff I have lined up.

HM Motorsports has worked on my cars for three years now. In the past month they refinished two badly scratched wheels to like-new condition for a very reasonable price, and then quickly fixed a custom wheel fitment issue (on another car) that other shops couldn't handle. Ben and Mindy are super knowledgeable and provide amazing customer service.

I purchased a subwoofer for my 2016 VW beetle and had these guys install it with little issue, after a while I needed to sell the car and wanted the sub put into my newly purchased 2014 Beetle. (Compatible for both model years) I was informed I needed a "connector" and was forced to leave my car overnight for what was supposed to be a 4-6 hour job.

After scrambling around for some connector that turned out to not be sold separately from the kit I originally purchased, I figured out that the team never gave me this "connector" when they originally installed it for me and it wasn't necessary in the newer model. Ended up getting charged an extra $60 for the ordeal and got basically denied when I told them they lost it originally. (FOLLOW UP) I was contacted after I made a review and the owner was very helpful with getting this resolved.

I highly recommend HM for all non warranty repair. They are so knowledgeable on all makes of vehicles and makes you feel like family when you walk in the office.

I have been coming to HM Motosports for a few years now. I had my APR stage 1 ECU tune done a while back and just recently my DSG transmission tune. Now it drives like a totally different car, super smooth shifting, absolutely no turbo lag at all, and no premature shifting making your RPMs drop way to low. PLUS! The launch control feature is easy to use and works AWESOME!

If you have a DSG I totally recommend having it done. Go see Mindy at HM Motosports, she is a total professional with amazing customer service, and her knowledge of Volkswagens is amazing. Thank you to HM Motosports, Mindy and her crew for all of your help.

This is the second time I used them. The first time they wow'd me. The second time not so much. I didn't communicate very well and I had to call them to see when my car was going to be done because their status app was not working. They double charged me for parts

My first visit to H-M Motorsports was a great experience. I needed an alignment, but knew that my BMW E30 Touring that I recently imported from Germany may need repairs as the steering seemed "clunky" during full turns. Ben's technicians diagnosed that the strut turn plates and control arm bushings needed replacement. Ben did a great job keeping me informed, and explained the work thoroughly. I'll certainly will return!

I had just purchased a brand new car and was working on cleaning out their garage so the car was parked in the driveway. As I carried out cans of spray paint, a can slipped out of my hand, hitting the driveway and puncturing a hole in the side of the can. The paint immediately began spraying, covering the ENTIRE front of my new car before rolling under the car spraying the wheels and the trim along both sides of the car.

I called the dealer who referred me to an auto body who referred me to HM Motorsports. I called and spoke to Ben who had me bring the car right over. The initial shock had worn off and I was in tears by the time I arrived. Everyone is the shop was soooo kind and assured me they could remove the paint without damaging the car. Given the extensive amount of spray paint that was on the car, I wasn't sure that would be possible.

I left the car with them at 4pm on Tuesday - at 10am on Wednesday I returned to pick it up and couldn't believe my eyes. The spray paint was gone - completely GONE! I have a very detailed grill on the front of my car which I was prepared to replace but they were able removed every trace of the paint. HM Motorsport will be the only detail/autobody shop that will every touch my car. They are AMAZING

My hubs and I worked with Mindy at HM Motorsports to get the protective covering on the seats/paint and to install a roof rack on our brand new Golf. Mindy was the best! She is honest, kind, and overall a great human. She is super knowledgeable and LOVES VWs. It was a fun experience and looking forward to working with Mindy in the future.

These guys were fantastic with my car! Helped me out with a whole lot of patience and willingness to work with my budget and scheduling. I'd like to especially highlight Matthew Palmer and Matthew Moyer for being the two who worked with me most. Both Matthews helped me with some necessities with my car, and took less than three hours total to get my car up and running.

They replaced my tires, did alignments, did an oil change, and all that fun-stuff without me having to wait too long. Not to mention their generally friendly and mindful demeanor. Thanks so much for helping me with my car, y'all! 100/10 would come back again.

I had multiple services performed at once and I am very happy with the end results. I had new wheels and tires installed, my windows tinted and TCU and ECU tunes performed. Matt helped me find the tires and wheels, providing great service and knowledge. Mindy helped me with the tuning options and she coordinated all of the work so that it would be completed on time. I feel like I'm driving a completely new car.

The whole team was excellent. I had called Matt about a year prior to get a quote on a set of wheels and ending up having to hold off. When I called back a week ago he remembered who I was and helped me get a hold of the wheels for my car on very short notice and even on his day off. Mindy called me when the car was done and even worked with my schedule to pick up the car after hours. Absolutely terrific team, I highly recommend them!

I had my two front windows tinted. H-M Motorsports was recommended by Herzog Meier Mazda and I couldn't be happier with the results. Amazing detail to my car. It felt like my car was brand new after the thorough cleaning and sealant that was applied to protect the upholstery and paint. They were able to fit me quickly into the schedule. Highly recommend and will be using them in the future

This is a great shop. Today I brought in my 2015 Audi S3 for some APR upgrades. They did a Stage 1 ECU high torque tune and the TCS tune at the same time. It turned out better than my expectations, in fact I was totally unprepared to have my eyeballs sink into my skull when they taught me how to use the launch control features and couldn't be happier. Side note, the waiting area is really nice and the bathroom is shockingly nice for a shop. Thanks guys and gals.

The staff at H-M Exceeded My Expectations. Every staff member was polite and very pleasant. I showed up an hour early for my appointment and they were very busy. They quickly checked me in and then escorted me to the waiting area. I was was pleasantly surprised at how clean and spacious the waiting area was. I don't how long I waited I think maybe only 30 minutes past my original appointment time because I was so comfortable. Compared to any other place I have been for tires or any other service H-M Rates 10 STARS above!

My family more than 30 years ago had 6 Tire Store locations in the Portland area and I made deliveries so I have seen my fair share of Tire and Service centers. My service advisor was Darrin Spencer I wish I could remember everyone's name because sincerely everyone I came in contact with Exceeded my expectations. David at H-M is an amazing guy. He went the extra mile for me when he didn't have to. After a bad experience with the VW dealership, he has restored my faith and understands the little details matter when you love your car.

Rich, David and Tom gave me the best service possible. They were helpful and happy to help. I went to a tire place twice and they told me I had nothing wrong with my tires but yet my check tire pressure light was on. When I came into HM motor sports, they found the nail right away in my tires and fixed up my volvo. They also found a part for me to fix up a minor detail that I would only have ever noticed. If you go to San Fransisco, you'll normally seek out the backstreet hole-in-the-wall eateries or strange foodcarts looking for that "authentic" experience, avoiding such places as Whole Foods, McDonalds, Walmart, ect. You want the real deal, and it's not easy to find. H&M Motorsports is the real deal. After my 2013 GTI passed that 30,000 mile marker, I started looking around for non-dealer resources for procedures I had not the tools nor the time to complete (anything more than changing my oil and airing my tires--I live in an apartment on a hill, I can't get much done there). I'd like to say I built a relationship at this little shop over time, and through many purchases and much time spent there, they've earned my trust and respect, but that's not really true.

I had a string of bad luck with some gnarly roads and my 35,000mi+tires weren't having any of it. After shopping around to find some budget all-weather boring tires mounted and balanced for about $490, I stopped by H&M and asked around. Matt pricematched the competing offer with better tires on the spot, and had them installed in less than 2 hours.

After the tires were on and a day later, I noticed my center cap had fallen out or been forgotten, so H&M comped my a new one from the dealer as soon as they could order one. No fuss, just making it right. When I failed to torque the drain-pan plug and I called H&M in a panic, thinking I'd lose all my oil and have to undo all the work I did myself (trying to save some money)--not so. Again, Matt offered to slot me in to have it checked the next day.

When I arrived the following day, the shop was dark and almost closed (my own poor timing), and the front desk clerk was dressed to leave--but he still dropped everything to pull my leaking hatchback into the garage where the one remaining technician was able to tighten the plug to spec in less than 15 minutes. and all at no charge. When I asked what I owed, the rep who was about to leave said "You could leave us a review, that's always helpful!" and shook my hand. I'm no stranger to the service industry and retail/customer-involved trade, so I know it's rare to discover a shop that can flex and make exceptions for customer with no purchasing history. H&M have hooked me up and saved my amateur ass more than once, so thanks guys. Keep it up, and I'm coming back when I can afford to splurge a little on some fun go-fast parts.

I called this company and spoke to someone who said I can bring my vehicle in today but it will be a few days before they can get to it. That is fine. I thought he was upfront, courteous, nice on the phone. He gave me an estimate of $125 to fix the leak in the drainage system for my vehicle because it has a sunroof/moonroof (its mechanical). I hope that $125 is not too much/ I have no clue.

They said if it were more they would let me know first. I will post again after this visit and work to let everyone know their rating. I will most likely change this to reflect the actual work done.

I haven't had anything major done here. They installed my tires (purchased online), aligned them, and put in nitrogen (at my request). I have been getting my oil changed here and they will top off my nitrogen for free. My last oil changed seemed to take a while (an hour or so). But when I check out, it's nice that they let me know how my alignment is and how my tire wear is. They've been great. Lastly, I didn't realize the H-M stood for Herzog-Meier.

I have a Mazda, and have taken my Mazda to H-M Mazda for oil changes and general upkeep. So when I received a survey from Mazda, for H-M Motorosports, well, that was interesting. Guess it doesn't matter if I take it to them or Mazda. Granted, H-M Motorsports is WAY less salesy (if at all) than the Mazda dealership. Free drinks, snacks, and tv are always great.

I'd like to give H-M Motorsports a higher rating because I think it was maybe bad luck, but nonetheless it was inconvenient having my car sit in their shop an extra two days and over the weekend because parts weren't available. I originally took my car in for scheduled maintenance and I was told my CV boots were cracked and that it would be a good idea to replace them as soon as possible.

I needed to get to work, so I dropped off my car the next day (Wednesday) at 5:30pm for the CV boot replacement. There was a sign on the door saying they had closed early for an employee function. I thought fair enough, I'll just drop the key in the overnight slot, no problem. Well, let's just say my car wasn't ready until the next Monday because parts weren't available.

I understand bad things happen, but this was inconvenient for my whole family, i.e. getting to work and the kids to daycare. We've got two cars for a reason. A couple years ago H-M Motorsports diagnosed a check engine warning light as a loose gas cap at no charge and sent me on my way. That's why I brought my car in for scheduled maintenance. Recently, when my starter went out over the weekend, I had my car towed somewhere else after checking Yelp. Those guys were terrific and I gave them a great rating.

Well, I have a long, boring story about my car troubles. I'll skip that and just get to the good stuff. After a few issues with another mechanic, and finding out that my Scion xD (that I bought in 2011 at HM) was still under warranty, I called up HM Motorsports to have them take a look. Ron was extremely helpful - and has a dry sense of humor, too.

I left the car there overnight to get a new alternator put in, and he called when necessary to keep me updated. The whole warranty process was a breeze. My car is running great now. I think the hardest thing to find is a mechanic you really trust - especially if you're not a "car guy." After my few conversations with Ron, he strikes me as an honest and dependable person - and I'm seriously thinking about going back to HM again if my car needs any major work, even though I live WAY on the other side of town.
