I went in to have my sister's car serviced. This is one of the best, and most thorough repair shops in the area, certainly the only import specialist worth trusting.
See, this car has been to no less than 4 different shops from Jacksonville to The Villages while in the family. Of all the issues and instances, Carrsmith was the best. I'm writing this review now, because the car was just at a dealership in Winter Park for services, and the experience was so grotesque, that I found myself fondly recalling the professionalism, straight forwardness, and empathy that seems to be the norm at Carrsmith. Then I remembered that I never gave them the flowers, or stars in the case, that they deserve.

Carrsmith is very attentive to your needs. Stephen was very helpful and the staff was friendly enough, but be prepared to pay. I'm not saying they price-gouged me, but it sure felt like I paid a lot for what I got. That being said, I did feel like when I walked out of there, that my car would run like it should. So, take that as you may.

Legitimately the best and most knowledgeable mechanic shop I've been to in Gainesville. Less expensive than the dealership, guarantees exceptional quality, worked with my maintenance plan, their work doesn't void my warranty, AND they didn't make me feel like a customer. . . But extended family. Will bring any car I have to them, and recommend them to my family, friends, and you.

I took my Audi Q5 over to Carrsmith. They were extremely professional, even though my car was not repaired because the insurance maintenance policy rejected the claim for stupid excuses to avoid paying to repair the car, but thats another issue. But I did want to recommend carrsmith. I think they were fantastic and when I do get my claim resolved, I am certainly taking back my Audi so he can do the repair. Thank you for being understanding and professional Thank you.

This was my third experience with the good folks at Carrsmith. The only difficulty I had is that took a couple of days longer than they expected. This was communicated to me with their apologies. They were patient with my impatience after I added the wife's car to their care. Having no ready transportation presented problems, and the folks at Carrsmith were quite understanding. They kept me apprised of the progress of both cars.
I got mine back and I can honestly say she runs better. I believe I will be able to say the same when they finish with the wife's car. Mine is a 2006 Lexus rx400h, a hybrid with over 160k miles. The wife's car is a2000 Infiniti i30 with over 300k miles. Everyone I've referred to Carrsmith agrees with me that they do excellent work. You definitely get what you pay for.
