Not an ethical body shop. My dad took his truck to them for repairs on the side of the truck after being hit by another car. Jeff Day took pictures of the condition of the truck. A week later, the truck was ready to be picked up. When it was picked up, there was a large crack in the windshield. When asked what happened, Scott (the shop owner) said that they weren't responsible for that crack.

They pulled up the initial pictures taken when the truck was dropped off, and it is clear there is no crack. They claim that the crack was caused by the heat and said they wouldn't fix it and we should have the insurance take care of it. But why should the insurance handle something that was caused in there body shop? Incredibly infuriating and unethical. We expected better from such a longstanding business.

Yeaman's did an amazing Job recently fixing my old 2006 Acura. I was shocked to see how well the paint and everything turned out. They also fixed my trunk which was broken and cleaned my front lights at no charge! I feel like I have a brand new car. The whole process was easy and stress free. I'll definitely be back should I need any other body work down the road.

I am so grateful for Yeaman auto body. Today the hood of my car detached on the freeway and I needed to find somewhere to take the car. Two mechanics I normally use refused to do the work, telling me to find a body shop. When I phoned Yeaman, they told me Scott the owner would wait for me to arrive 30 minutes after their normal closing time. They took care of my classic Mercedes and even agreed to try to fix the convertible top while they are working on the hood. Thank you Yeaman team!

One morning I walked out to see that someone had backed into my car, leaving the hood dented and difficult to open and close. My car was brought to Yeaman's and within a few days I had my car back with a brand new hood, exact matching paint, cleaned and detailed. The price I was quoted was the price I paid. When I picked my car up, they were fast and friendly.

They even cleaned up the fogging on my head lights. My car is ten years old and looks brand new. Great service and an awesome crew. I highly recommend taking your car here for body work. Thank you, Yeaman! I greatly appreciate the top notch job you did on my Honda Civic.

Our 2015 320i had its front bumper dented by the previous owner. We took the car to Yeaman Auto Body. They met the esimtated price and finished the work ahead of schedule. And: the car now looks AWESOME! They did a great job! It looks like new. Steve and the staff were also really nice and easy to work with. Highly recommended!

I needed a relatively minor repair on my rear bumper. A mechanic that I regularly meet recommended Yeaman for the work. Yeaman has been around for very long time in Palo Alto. Though I did not have a chance to work with them before, I had known the name. I stopped by Yeaman in a morning on Tuesday to schedule a repair. Stanford who works there asked me when I want to drop my car off.

I replied "tomorrow morning". After I got home, I have sent a work estimate from my insurance company to him. He called me up and said the estimate is very well done so that he is going to order those parts needed. When I dropped my car in the next morning (Wed, 9am), he already had the parts in hand. He and his crew started working on my car as I was leaving the shop. And, he promised that he would call me around 2pm to update me.

So he did saying it is almost done and I can pick it up on Thursday. He asked me to call him up at 9am on Thursday. So I did. He was basically finishing the work up by polishing and washing my car in the morning. I have told him to pick the car up at 9:40am. I stopped by the shop then. Everything went flawlessly. Even if it's a minor damage, they took exactly ONE day.

The rear bumper is completely repaired. The new paint on my bumper appears to be excellent. I don't think I had this kind of experience at a body shop. Of course, I did everything so that he can work on the car as soon as possible. Also, we were lucky that those parts were available at a local dealership. Still I am quite impressed. Although I hope I do not need their help for a while, when I need one, I will call them up in no time. I have to strongly agree with people who recommended Yeaman. They are highly recommended for auto body repair.

I have to admit to crashing too many cars. I've gone to other places, and I never will again. Nowhere by Yeaman for me from now on. Quality work, good communications.

I've taken my cars to Yeamans 3 times over the years and they have always been responsive and provided good service. I appreciate they are straight forward and that I feel I can trust them, no sense that they are padding their work. The owner Scott is very accommodating and will work with you to find an appropriate solution rather than automatically doing the max job that charges the most.

And while other shops told me I had to make an appointment and follow a cumbersome process to get an estimate and work done Yeamans simply said yeah bring the car by and we'll take a look. I think that encapsulates their direct and practical approach which I appreciate. Not the most high tech looking shop but I'll take practical over flashy.

We've had three cars repaired there; a Mini with pretty severe front end damage, a Lexus with fender bender, and an Audi with a gouge in the bumper. All excellent body work and great paint jobs. Our only complaint was with the Lexus paint. It was a good color match but the metallic flecks in the paint didn't quite match the original although it matched lexus' specs. Yeaman agreed and didn't charge us for the paint job.

My late husband and I have used Yaeman Auto Body as often as necessary for one thing and another, the vicissitudes of driving & Parking in a fast-paced urban setting. Now a widow, I am gratified by being treated as a mature adult on my own behalf, with courtesy and intelligence. I trust the guys at Yeaman

Please come hear if you want to be charged 3x more for labor than the regular shop they were trying to charge me 2600 just to shave down and paint a dent on my car for a car worth 2500 I went to get my body done somewhere for 500 way more reasonable my recommendation is to go somewhere but if u want to spend the money go ahead they don't do a bad job it's just outrag just seen you comment bro unprofessional response don't get mad at me because that's the experience I had like I said you guys went with the most expensive options which is better for you not the customer I didn't have full damages I had a scratch on my car that I seen on the paper work majority payment is labor I understand covering yours and employees but thanks for not taking the time out your day to see if I receive good service or to see what exactly was the service issue before you start talking about apples

This is the only body shop i will be taking my bmw to. They returned my car looking better than when i first purchased it. If you're looking for a sign to bring you car here this review is it.

Took my Subaru Ascent in from a little parking lot incident, side scraped the passenger side rear door and panel. Scheduled an appointment, took the car in Monday and it was back to me on Friday. Price was fair, service is good, and their work is excellent. My Ascent is back to brand new.

Positive- the actual work they do seems good. When they damaged my car in their lot, they came out to place the sticker on the bumper when I voiced my agitation of all of the added inconvenience caused by the accident. Negative- lots is small and prone to accident, I know, because in the process of fixing my car, they also caused another accident with it.

I was nervous when leaving my car there, so I took pictures of my car before I left it, just in case something were to happen, and my gut proved right. They need to improve their signage to which is their entrance. I turned in the first entrance I saw to Yeaman, and it was not the customer entrance, and it is a very precarious situation to get out of the parking lot. (There are cars all along the street, and the visibility to enter the road is not there) Coming INTO the lot, my car scraped because the angle is not car friendly, and my car is low, which doesn't make your feel good when the damage increases as you go to fix it (in addition to them damaging the car when the car was finally fixed) Was told car would be ready on a Friday when I dropped it off on a Monday, it wasn't ready until the following Tuesday, and then another 3 days after that after my car was damaged in their parking lot.

The guy who damaged my car (Stamford) didn't have the time to hear me out, which made me even more frustrated. He presented it like he almost did me a favor, because apparently another autobody shop didn't put a flex coat on my bumper when they did a repair. I had to go to Mountain View for an Avis rental because they have a relationship with them to pick up a rental, I was given the cheapest rental, and it was a pretty crappy smelly one, and I couldn't get a different one because that was all that the shop had offered, and that was the last of the lowest level car.

They called me to get my car, but a bumper sticker hadn't been placed yet (from the damage the shop caused), so they told me I had to come back. Considering all of the extra an unexpected time and energy towards the situation, I was upset, and tried to talk to Stamford, but he had no patience to hear me out and basically walked away. It was offered for someone to come meet me to where I was later to place the sticker, so for that I am glad they put in that effort. Overall I the work seemed good, but the overall experience was not. It seems like their work is guaranteed, so I guess that is something too.

I came here on a recommendation after having received various quotes for some body work I needed done. All the quotes I received were $2200 and up, but from the minute I arrived here, Oliver advised that I could possibly save thousands by going with PDR and a polish/touch up (which I did). He even polished off some of the markings on my car to show that my damage was worse than it looked before sending me on my way. A place that not only takes pride in their work, but works in the interest of the customer will always get my business.

I have been a customer of Yeaman Auto Body for over 25 years. However there's a new crew in town. Two weeks ago my car was hit in a parking lot while unattended. Naturally based on previous experience I contacted Yeaman's. I'm a busy doctor so as you can imagine finding time to go over and get an appraisal, reschedule patients to drop off my car and Uber over to a car rental company is a multiple hour process.

The process was unpleasant from the beginning. The appraiser acted as if I was inconveniencing him to take the time to look at my car (a $4500.00 repair). Without affect, he told me to drop off my car 8 days later and it would take 6 to 7 complete the body work. So after again rearranging my my patient schedule, ordering a rental car, I returned to Yeaman's on the appointed day.

I dealt with the same employee who appraised my car. He said: "You'r not on the schedule and we can't repair your car for two weeks." I said: Don't you remember me? He said: " Yeah I remember something about an appraisal, " He wouln't budge. I was Furious! Four hours of my time wasted! Oh, later someone called and left me a message stating: "you can drop off your car tomorrow." No apology, no acknowledgment of how much their actions had inconvenienced me. Go back? Spend another 2 hours of my time? Absolutely not! I can do better Dr. April Holman

I'm not sure I could possibly say enough good things about this place. I'll start by saying that way back before Yelp was a thing, I took my car here after an accident. They were helpful, patient, and made everything easy -- even bothering to drive me to a car rental place in Mountain View (and pick me up from it!). I've sinced recommended them to a number of friends who needed autobody work, all of whom had nothing but good things to say.

Even more impressive: Recently, my husband had his side mirror knocked off his car (the offender then sped off right in front of us). He was already scheduled to take his car back to a mechanic (for the third time) because of a strange noise it was making. Luckily, he went to Yeaman for the side mirror repair first. Not only did they fix his mirror, they solved the noise issue!

Unlike the mechanic (who told us it was a breaks issue), they were able to figure out that a small fix to to his wheel well would eliminate the noise. They did the work without being asked and gratis, probably saving us TONS in unnecessary machanic fees. Who knew businesses like this still existed today?

These guys are the real deal. Excellent service. Super high-quality work. Fantastic prices. Top-notch customer service. I won't go anywhere else. I brought my 2016 Audi Q5 in for a dent that was my own fault. I hated seeing the dent because it reminded me of me and perfection! These guys quoted me a great price - half of what the dealership told me - and did the work on time and in a really high-quality way. Plus their man Jose even detailed the car within an inch of its life. Completely beautiful. A total labor of love. Thanks guys!

The staff at Yeaman were really friendly and helpful. Sorry guys that I'm going to mangle your names, but I believe over the course of it, I worked with Oliver, Gavin, and Jeff, and I'm sure there were more guys than that doing different parts of the work. I got into an accident and my Soobie needed some work done. Both Yelp and State Farm rated Yeaman highly I had to trust the crowd and come in for an estimate.

I have to say every interaction I had with the staff at Yeaman was professional, friendly, and trustworthy. First, when I came in for an estimate, Oliver was very thorough, very upfront about when they would be able to fit me in, and very knowledgeable about the process for working with insurance. Oh, and I also saw him REJECT a part coming in from a supplier, a piece of BMW trim that wasn't perfectly straight.

A good sign of quality workmanship. So I followed up the visit with a call the next day to say "yep, put me on your list, see you in two weeks." Then, when I called the Friday before my Monday drop off, it looked like I had NOT been put on the list, but Gavin quickly took care of that. Dropping off my damaged beast on Monday was sad, but again Gavin & crew were courteous and professional, got the Hertz shuttle to come pick me up, great service.

Finally when my car was ready this week, I could not make it until after dark, so Jeff turned on the lights in their lighted tent for me so I could pull the car in and check out the new pieces and painting, instead of rushing me out the door so he could close up. I appreciated that. So overall, although I hope to never have an accident again that requires me to, when it happens again, I'm coming straight to Yeaman.

Amazing experience with Yeaman. Highly recommended to anyone who needs some body work done on their car. I had to get my hood and front bumper replaced (for as cheap as possible as I'm currently a student) and the guys at Yeaman took care of it. Not only was the final bill $800 below their initial estimate, they finished the job 3 hours after I dropped the car off! All the staff are very polite and know what they're doing. Excellence across the board.

Always outstanding service in pursuit of highest quality. I learned from Scott Yeaman that insurance companies (including mine, GEICO) want to pay only for B quality repairs. For example, they will estimate a color match on repainted body parts at 15 minutes when Yeaman says he cannot do a top quality job in less than, say, 30+ minutes. At this shop, you may be asked to pay more than your insurance company estimates in order to get a first-rate repair.

I trust Scott's description of reality vs. that from the insurer. (I am surprised this shop has no reviews. They are always busy, and their lot always has the complete range of cars from luxury to economy waiting for repair.)
