Our Bloomington auto repair technicians are certified in all eight areas of automotive repair with three technicians holding Advanced Drivability credentials. Our motto is "Caring for the Car, the Customer and the Environment" and we take that seriously.

In 1990, owners Don & Melinda Seader moved to Bloomington for Don to attend graduate school at Indiana University. While Melinda applied her environmental degree managing the county's recycling and reuse programs, Don began to miss the challenge of fixing real world problems and working with people instead of mathematical equations.
World Wide Automotive Service is staffed with ASE Master Technicians who are certified in all areas of maintenance and auto repair. Bloomington offers many options for automotive service, but our team is the only one in town that specializes in the repair of European and Asian vehicles. With over 100 years of combined experience, our technicians are capable of solving complex problems as well as providing routine service and maintenance. Not only do we use green practices, but we also use high-tech tools to ensure the quality of every service and auto repair.
World Wide Automotive Service believes that the presence of so many great non-profit organizations in this community help to make our city such a wonderful place to live. So we are committed to always contributing part of our business profits to such organizations. From theatre productions and schools to food banks and environmental groups, we have donated volunteer time, in kind contributions and money to a whole host organizations that keep our community strong and vibrant.
Having helped organize environmental events and community education projects dating back to her days in California in the 1980's, owner Melinda Seader was involved in preserving the environment long before the terms "green" and "sustainability" became marketing catch phrases. So it was only natural that when she and Don opened World Wide Automotive Service in 1995, the business would be committed to protecting the environment from the day it first opened it's doors.WWAS staff have gone beyond their own shop to share our environmental knowledge with others.

Paul, Zack and the rest of the gang at World Wide Auto are always ready and willing to help out when I've got a problem or concern with my BMW. The service is always fast and professional, not to mention the fact that my last visit was $300 less than the dealer quoted me. Thanks guys. Services: Oil change, Brakes

Our daughter had car packed to return to Chicago at end of school year. Car wouldn't start. Jump start proved it wasn't battery. Had car towed to Worldwide after hours. Diagnosed, researched, ordered quality parts, and did thorough evaluation of our aging X3. Fair value, great communication from Zach. Service: Engine repair

Once again, World Wide Motors provided great customer service in a timely manner on my GLS 450 Mercedes. They provided knowledgable insight on the various options for my repairs and helped me decide on the best repair solution for my brakes & windshield wipers. Services: Oil change, Brakes

In a free "trip inspection" they found a nail in one of my tires near the side wall. It caused a very slow leak. It could not be repaired. I could probably search for and find a bargain replacement, but I am comfortable letting WWA order and install the replacement. That's the value of a long, trusting business relationship. Services: Oil change, Tires, Brakes, Auto engine tuning

I trust these guys. For the last ten years I have been bringing my vehicles to Worldwide and I have no intention of changing shops. The fact that they have certified mechanics working at the front desk should tell you a lot. On top of this, all their techs engage in semi-annual educational training so they can stay up to date on the latest technology.

With the pitiful state of affairs at local dealers, this place is a no-brainer. Be forewarned; service is not inexpensive here. OEM parts come at a premium and so if you're looking to save a bunch of money this isn't the spot for you. With that said, why would you be looking to save a bunch of money when it comes to maintaining your vehicle? Safety and reliability are the number one concern for the workers in this shop and for peace of mind, a premium price tag is the least of my worries.

Someone recommended this place to me. It's my first time taking my Toyota Rav4 somewhere other than the dealership. The people there were super friendly. The cost was reasonable, and they explained everything to me very well. Not only that, but the problem my car was having could have been caused by the back brakes and rotors alone or by the front and back brakes and rotors.

They could have easily told me to replace them all, but instead, they told me to replace the back first to see if that fixes the problem. That way I can get more use out of the front and don't have to pay as much all at one time. It turns out that it was just the back causing the issues. I truly appreciate their honesty, kindness, and their patience with my lack of knowledge about cars.

I will glady recommend this place to other people as well as continue to return there. Additionally, it has been my experience that places underquote you, and you end up having to pay a higher cost at pickup for the work done. That was not the case here. They quoted me a price, and I ended up paying a little less than the original quote. They easily could have charged me the original price they gave me, but they didn't. Needles to say, I am happy with everything about my experience there.
