VP Auto Collison

Had an excellent experience for repairs on my car at VP Auto. From start to finish the service level and work performed were all top notch. The body work looks like my car was never hit and the paint job matches perfectly to the naked eye. I couldn't be happier or more impressed. The repair timeframe was sooner than I expected and the constant communication was key. Huge thank you Mitch, Mary Jane and all the guys in the shop, you really took great care of me and my car!

Never eat at any empty restaurant. same principle applies to body shops. This place is busy for a reason - because they are good. I've had the same truck worked on twice in three years now thanks to a deer with a death wish and a 17 year old who simply can't drive worth a damn. Both times they've done excellent work. Highly recommended!

Mitch and his team couldn't have been more accommodating. We had a problem with insurance not paying and Mitch helped provide a detailed overview of what services had to be performed vs. what could be delayed for a later time to help better understand all the options, since I was responsible for the bill. He went above and beyond. I will absolutely use VP Auto Collision again in the future as I trust their advice and feel comfortable with the outcome.

Had my 1980 MGB repaired here with excellent results. Mitch took the time to provide a comprehensive estimate that was beneficial in dealing with the insurance company. Contact with all of the staff was professional, friendly and courteous. These guys run a very professional shop and take the time to do the job right.

I went VP based on a personal recommendation. They gave me a fair estimate. They quoted a week for the repair but finished my vehicle in just a couple of days. Most often, reviews are only written when you have a bad experience as its uncommon for satisfied people to write reviews. VP Auto Collision defies this mentality as the customer service and interaction was fantastic. The owner, Mitch (who had owned an S2000) personally gave me a quote and run down of what would be needed to repair my S2000 after an opossum hit the front bumper. VP tried numerous "Silverstone" paint variations in order to best match the OEM paint and routinely kept in touch through email and phone. However, as the car was 15 years old, the front bumper did not blend with the remainder of the car. VP went above and beyond and persuaded my insurance company to cover the painting of the hood and fenders in order to blend the paint to match what the car previously looked like.

The car now looks fantastic. I look forward to bringing my other cars in when the time comes. A side tad bit to further solidify VP Auto as one of the best body-shops. My mom wanted to get a quote to repair some Ford rusting defects. The Auto shop was honest and told her it would not be cost effective since it would cost thousands of dollars to correctly repair and maintain VP's lifetime warranty. It's reassuring seeing honesty in this line of work instead of sale's pitches.

Love this place. Someone hit my car and they redid the whole front hood and lights in a timely, professional manner. Took care of all the insurance business, too, and got me a ride figured out with Enterprise. Ended up taking it back here to fix my back door weather strip when some work I had done elsewhere started coming apart. Took an hour and they even gave it a quick wash for me cause they had some extra time. Very rare to get that kind of service these days. Thank you guys so much!

I am new to the area so I used Yelp for reviews and found this Collision repair shop right near my house. Very nice experience. The shop location is perfect, shop is clean and inviting. I can not believe I am leaving a good review for a body shop, but these folks sure deserve it. First let me say, whatever you do don't use a collision repair place recommended by the issuance company, especially if you are not at fault! Pick up the phone and call Deb and let them work for you. That is the real difference, these folks work for you, a shop associated to the insurance company works for them!

We had a horrible experience just 8 months ago with Geico and Signature Collision, so we came in ready to be disappointed, even though a friend referred us to VP. I was so impressed with how friendly, helpful, and honest, yes honest, this team was. They did an amazing job, but really that is only a fraction of the reason for taking your vehicle here.

From start to finish this was the easiest process. Donna handled everything with ease. My truck was done in a timely fashion and looks better than new. The staff answered all my questions and kept me informed of the process. I couldn't be happier and wish that I could give them more than 5 stars. This definitely is a too knotch company.

Short version of this review: VP Auto Collision is amazing! Mitch, Tony, and Deb are fantastic to work with. Everyone is extremely professional, and will be your guides and champions (and voices of reason) throughout whatever situation brought you to their door. Give them your business, and you won't regret it! Full version of the review is below for those of you who want a detailed example of what I mean :) I was in an accident earlier this year, and dropped off my car at VP on July 3 for repairs.

Shortly thereafter, my insurance company (who deserve a separate review all their own, but not for any good reason.) all but stopped communicating with VP and myself until July 13 - over one week later. The communication from my insurance company continued to decline, but VP made sure I wasn't left hanging. Deb in their front office and I essentially took turns calling my insurance company, demanding updates, fighting for them to cover the repairs, storage fees, and admin fees that the insurance company was suddenly balking at. VP continued to help me through this process for roughly another week. Unfortunately, my car was ultimately deemed a total loss, but thanks to VP I did not feel like I was flying blindly through this difficult process.

They do a **FANTASTIC** job of fighting for their customers and are truly driven (no pun intended) to provide excellent customer support regardless of the situation. Combine all that with their Grade A quality of work, and you've got a rare, winning combination!

VP Auto is a top knotch shop and they do excellent work. After researching local body shops in Harford County, I chose VP Auto and I am so pelased with their work and customer service. I am careful with where I take my car because there are TOO many shops and dealerships that do bad business. The insurance adjuster tried to sway me to choose someone within their "network" and recommended a shop that has a terrible reputation with locals. VP Auto was not part of All State's shop program and I actually preferred that.

Basically the only difference with these preffered shops is that All State gives them referals and in return All State recieves special rates. Additional work gets approved right away whereas other shops would have to wait a day or two or three for approvals which is NO big deal. Do you want a body shop that works for you and your best interests or the insurance company's best interest? VP was thorough with my car and took no short cuts.

They found additional damage and had no trouble with getting it approved by All State. Mitch kept me in the loop the whole time so I was never in the dark. They made this process painless and it was nice to do business with a company I could trust. Also, I called 5 body shops before discoving VP Auto. I asked each of them a couple of simple questions about the process and specifically, what they look for in typical rear end collissions.

Everyone I spoke to was rude and none of them made me feel good about doing business with them. It was beyond dissapointing. Luckily I found VP and when I called I spoke with Debra. I was immediately impressed with her customer service. She was friendly, up front and knowledgeable. I am very particular about my cars. Ever body shop I have ever used I usually have a complaint or ten! Not with VB. I am 100% happy with their work. My car looks better now then when I bought it. VB went above and beyond to make my bad situation a good one. They had my best interest in mind when dealing with insurance companies and the owner called me personally to give me regular updates on my car. I will never go anywhere else. I was rear ended in my 2011 Jetta TDI by a Chevrolet Silverado. I was standing still, and he was doing about 25mph. The only thing I can really say is "ouch." I decided to run the claim through my insurance company and let them subrogate it to the insurance company who was at fault. It was recommended by my insurance company to take it to a Chevrolet dealer, where they quoted the work at $2,000.00.

My VW was towed to VP Auto Collision after a recommendation by the local VW dealer and I am extremely happy with the work. They turned around the work in about two weeks and it was delayed that long due to parts availability. Mitch was great to work with and they handled the payment process directly with my insurance company. At the end of the transaction, it cost over $5,000.00 to fix my VW. You can't get away fixing ANYTHING on a VW for $2,000.00. I would use VP Auto Collision again if necessary, but I sure as hell hope I don't have to.
