Went in for an oil change on my Mazda3, but was convinced to do the 15k mile service. I was quoted $330 before tax which seemed really steep, but it seemed like they were doing a bit more work than your regular oil change. So I called the Mazda dealer and they said they charge only $200 for a 15k mile service! And that includes a tire rotation which Volmaz doesn't do on its 15k service! When you are more expensive than the dealer, that's something. At least they did it quickly, which is why it's 2 stars and not 1.

Came in for an oil change, they charged me $82 after doing an inspection of my car "because the maintenance light turned on when the car turned on" which of course nothing was wrong with my car. Honestly very scummy, I specifically requested just an oil change. Was hoping this place would be good since the location is nice but I'm not coming back or recommending at all. Thankfully I had the money not to argue. Update:Wow.

I can't believe the owner is trying to lie about me in their response. First things first, zero communication on what oil was used, I asked specifically for just an oil change and JUST an oil change. They did NOT say what they would use, the cost, the time (which took 2 hours), nor did they even update me that they were inspecting my car. If I would've even KNOWN about the cost, I would've went literally anywhere else.

Again super scummy for taking advantage of customers by adding on all the hidden fees/services when specifically asked for JUST an oil change. The owner DID call and offered a free oil change in return that I take this review down but I genuinely didn't want to come back and get overcharged by this place and it's very interesting to see him try and slander me now. Honestly if anyone is reading this, please don't waste your energy or time here.

I just wanted an oil change and now I'm reading the owner lie about me online, it's 100% easier to go somewhere else. I'm glad the owner gave it away in his response to me.

1st time using this shop (vs. Mazda dealership). Very impressed with their attention to my upfront needs (quick 1-day turnaround on short notice). They performed an unusual repair (atypical for Mazdas at the build year), & provided written response on invoice of potential future repairs that may become a near-term future issue. They also provided verbal details of potential future needs, which was understandable & no BS. Repair costs were very reasonable, & much less than typical dealership experience (ps - my dealership has provided great service in past, but I clearly believe I get better value for the money with VOLMAZ). I was VERY pleased with my experience!

I thought I was not trusting anyone else besides the dealership to maintain my Volvo XC40, but Volmaz is my new and only option now, everyone is very professional

I felt valued! Knowing I was very concerned about a "check engine" light coming on, Joe patiently explained the possible reasons. I felt he really wanted me to understand the status of my older car, being at the stage of more adjustments becoming necessary as time went on. He was also very conscious of cost to me and determined what the best course of action should be. I totally trust his professional judgment and appreciate his personal concern. A+

Volmaz has been our choice of Volvo shop for over 2 years - since we moved to Atlanta. They have always treated our C30 with great care. I have appreciated how they explain issues and work with you if you are on a tight budget. Work is excellent. Prices are comparable with other shops including dealership prices. But customer service is also excellent.

My husband and I have been a long time client of Volmaz. Joe, the owner, has always been very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. This particular visit, I came in to have my hood latch replaced on my BMW 750li. I made a 9:00am appointment and my car was ready by 10:00am. I have had extensive work done on my BMW with Volmaz and the work has always been superb.

From transmission work to head gasket repair treatment, and I have absolutely nothing but good things to say about Volmaz. Thank You Volmaz (Joe)! We appreciate you for all that you have done and do!

My first visit to Volmaz based on good reviews, and they did not disappoint! Correctly diagnosed the issue, resolved it sooner than expected (same day!), and had the friendliest front office to boot. I'll be a return customer for sure.

Everything went great. I dropped my car off on the morning, got a call when the diagnosis was completed and was told what work was recommended and how much it would cost. I okayed it; it was about what I had anticipated. Then got another call when my car was ready to pick up. It was all in the same day. Services: Electrical, Oil change

I took a 1990 Miata in for brakes, oil, tune-up, and to have a piece of trim replaced (I already had the trim purchased), and they didn't want my business because "they don't like working on cars older than 2000." They could have had a customer for life, but instead turned me away at the door. Terrible service and attitude.

I had my 75K mile service done yesterday at Volmaz, and I had a wonderful experience. I worked with Joe and he was very professional and explained everything to me well and my car was finished in a few hours. I highly recommend Volmaz. I really appreciate the work they do. And given that my car has a lot of miles on it, they inform me of potential issues so that I don't spend more money than I want to on it. The repairs have always been rock solid. My car drives great because of them.

Have used Volmaz for my 2013 Mazda CX-9 as well as my 2016 Volvo S-60. Multiple times a less reputable business could have convinced me I needed work when I didn't. They always explain the problem and offer a solution. Strongly recommend them.

Everyone at Volmaz is wonderful. Due to some bad luck I have had to visit Volmaz three times within a fairly short period of time. Everyone who works there is incredibly nice and ready to help. At this point they refer to me by name! I was very nervous about finding a mechanic in Atlanta, but now I know where I will be going any time that I have issues.

I have felt confident leaving my car with them each time and they always charge reasonable fees for the services done. Would absolutely recommend them to any friend or acquaintance.

As a female I'm always anxious when I take my car in for service. Recently my 2007 Volvo XC90 failed the emissions test and when I took it to the Volvo dealer they quoted me something astronomical. So high that I can't believe they can say it with a straight face. I came to VolMaz by word of mouth, and I'm so glad I got a second opinion. Jonathan talked to me about my car in a practical manner, and gave me a practical plan for the repair.

I was done in 2hrs (and even got to watch the election results and each lunch while I waited), and walked out of there with a $268 repair vs thousands. I feel I can trust Jonathan and his staff for my future repairs. I'll send over my friends and family too.

I have taken my BMWs there for about 15 years and have always had an excellent experience. Reasonable pricing, good, honest workmanship, and friendly, fine people. I need a new car and will only choose one they will work on!

After being taken advantage of more times than I can count, I never thought I could actually feel this way about mechanics but I LOVE Volmaz. I've always driven older cars and know they will need fixed. Having someone be honest about what repairs are actually necessary rather than finding all the things they could fix is worth their weight in gold.

9/22/2017 Had a check engine light on Mazda van. Paid $590 for repair. The check engine light came back on within 20 miles of leaving shop. I took the van to another place to check for error codes and van registered 5 error codes. Volmaz told me to bring the van back for computer adjustments. I took the van back only to have the check engine light come back on again within 10 miles after leaving. Volmaz told me to bring the van back and leave it which i did.

After picking up van a 3rd time, check engine light came on again. I took the van to an autozone for a code reading and the same 5 codes as from the other place came up again. Volmaz stated that check engine light would come on again and that they would try something else which would be around $400. I declined.

These guys are very Knowledgeable about these cars. I recommend them all the time and I now have a Lincoln MKZ lol

My first experience with VolMaz was excellent. I had to have a clutch replaced, and I feel another repair shop was trying to take advantage of the fact that my car was disabled on their lot, and I was in a rush to get it repaired. I had it towed to VolMaz and they did the repair for less than half the price, and within the time I needed it. Their work was excellent and I have had no problems since getting the car back. Everyone there is super friendly, and I feel they are very honest about their work. Thank you VolMaz!

Great guy who run this auto shop, been their 3 time so far and I will go their again if I have a car problem, reasonable price upfront pricing clean establishment as you wait for your car and he deals in with high-end cars majority but I'm sure he fix all type of cars

As Good as it Gets! I've been going to this place for about 3 years. The prices compared to the dealership is usually unbelievably less expensive but with pretty much the same quality. I've never had them repair or service my vehicle and then have to return for the same issue. I love Ms. Lilly and the customer service that everyone there provides. I'll be a long time customer.

You gotta love it when your mechanic tells you there's a whole lot of work on your car that you DON'T have to do. Seriously. I had just acquired my first Mazda and wanted to give it a more detailed inspection than the one I was able to perform on my own. VolMaz gave the car the once over, and talked with me very sensibly about everything they noticed.

I thought I would have a ton of things to look after with this car, but they flat out told me that all I had to do was keep the oil up and everything would be fine. I didn't need the new brakes I thought I'd need, among other things. The waiting room is also nice. Free wifi-and a comfy chairs are always nice. If you're lucky, you may also get to meet Rose. I may bring my Volvo in for them to check out what's going on with the A/C.

Just stopped in here for the first time. I needed a tail lamp for my 98 SL500; he didn't charge me for it, said, "it's just a bulb!" What kind of customer service is that? Amazing, that's what kind. And they have free candy on the counter--Smarties! Could my day be ANY better? I think not.

I bought my manual transmission Mazda 3 new 10 years ago and have been looking for a local mechanic shop to use. I used VolMaz when my car hit 80k miles and the service was perfect except for the bill.as usual : Very expensive but worth it. This is a high quality shop, so far.
