We rented shop space for over 18 years. Our shops in Orange Park and St. Augustine were closed in 2018 and have been combined into one location in the heart of Clay county. If you're trying to restore your vehicle to its original factory condition, trust the qualified technicians at Visual FX to correct corrosion damage and replace worn components. If replacement body panels are no longer available, our team of expert fabricators will create those parts from scratch. We use high-quality materials to remanufacture body panels on site to make the car look as close to factory original as possible.
Custom builds follow a similar model to our restorations, but often go deeper into the level of customization that is performed. How much customization do you want? You decide! It's up to you, your ideas, and your budget. We can modify the stance of your project by raising or lowering your vehicle, order custom wheels, fabricate custom interior panels, customize your upholstery, build a performance sound system, install a modern drive train - whatever you would like to see!

Scheduled an appointment with the office staff for an estimate, took time off from work to meet with estimator. I showed up and was told he had a haircut appointment and the staff did not know what they were doing scheduling an appointment on his haircut day. I was also told they do not guarantee any work they do, looks like this shop is too busy to keep appointments and the few comments made regarding painting my car and repairing my hood scoop were negative. I would not recommend you go here as it was a waste of time! Lack of communication between staff, The customer service was none

This place is awesome. Our car was in a accident and all i have to say is. if want your car fixed right, take it to them, they worked directly with our insurance which was a big releif for us, they kept us informed with everything, car turned out beautiful.before we picked it up they took the extra time to wash and detail the inside.this place rocks! Critical: Professionalism, Value Seriously quoted me $89 an hour for installing a push bumper on my vehicle (almost double the going rate for body shops). Thankfully I found a more honest and fair priced shop in greencove who is doing it for $46 an hour. Plus the person I spoke with didnt have a good attitude & came across rude

Despite a long covid-related delay in getting an appointment, Paul's team did a terrific job renovating my 1995 Jeep Wrangler. It wasn't inexpensive, but the quality is outstanding. They did such great work, I have actually had people stopping me or yelling from cars, "Hey, that paint looks great!". No kidding. But I knew that, especially with the new parts I ordered and they installed professionally. Also a tip of the hat to Jenn for not forgetting me. So, high marks and I recommend VisualFx to any car enthusiast.

I needed paint work done on my new car and Visual FX Custom Paint & Body did a great job. They did the exact job in which I requested. Which was to repaint the damaged area and make it look like it was never repainted at all. I can not tell the difference. It looks amazing. Now, let's about the business itself. I requested a quote online with pictures and a quote was given quickly.
The price in which they quoted was very very good, however I felt that they needed to see the damage because the pictures did not show it very well. So, I called and requested a new quote in person. This was scheduled and I made my way down to the shop. I was greeted at the front by the person I spoke to over the phone Kathy (I believe) and she was very kind, polite, professional and had excellent customer service.
After a little bit I was than introduced to Jenn (I believe) to take a look at my car for the quote. Again, she was very kind, polite, professional and had excellent customer service. I was correct that my original quote was a little bit off. After see the car in person the new quote was more accurate. It was a little bit higher but that was just fine with because everything was explained to perfection as to the reason for the higher price and why their original price was lower (the things that they could not see in the pictures). Receiving the new quote in person was not a accompanied with a sales pitch.
I was handed the quote and was told what number to call if I choose to move forward with the work. After making my decision I call them up amd we scheduled a drop off. At drop off I received the same friendly and professional service that I did when I come for the quote. During the process I received a few email updates and when the work was done, I was given a call to schedule a pickup.
During pickup everything was just as before with the customer service and the final price was exactly the same as the quote. Finishing this review out I would say that overall I had a excellent experience with this company and I would recommend them to everyone the needs paint and body on their car. Excellent work and excellent customer service.

Critical: Professionalism This was the worst experience I have ever had. Price for work changed multiple times. Quality of work was below average as they let the car leave the shop not finishing up details that a quality shop would have done. The owner was very disrespectful. I would never recommend this shop.

Brought my car down to this shop for an estimate. The ladies at the he front desk are friendly but the guy (not sure who was because he didn't greet or introduce himself but I suspect owner) came out to look at my car with an attitude, argued with me and then walked away. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this shop.

Took my 1947 chevy street rod to Visual FX. Stacy showed me around then gave me an estimate. She knows her way around cars and is a sweetheart to boot. To be honest after seeing the work they do I never considered another shop. They had the fender fixed in one week with an exact color match. It looks exceptional and I cannot tell you how happy I am with the work. Don't bother going anywhere else.
