Really long story, but this is the short version! Starting issues with my daughters Mini Cooper, 300 miles from home. Vesa took the time to diagnose and find an issue with the key not pairing. More than fair on the bill. They connected us with a key place that could fix the issue. Nice to know that there are still good and honest people. Thanks Larry!

I've mostly been happy with Vesa's and the quality of their work the past few years. I've also had a few interactions with Josh that turned me off enough to switch places. I felt like I was bothering him by having questions and basically waa unwelcome. I believe most people are overworked and totally understand that sometimes grumpyness shows, but this happened too much.

The last issue left me feeling unsettled about what was going to be charged for the repair as well. I asked him about my driver's side window. He said it would be $300 something bc it needed new parts and programming. My friend fixed it for me a few years and I didn't need any new parts, so I decided it was worth a second look. Before switching places I left a detailed message with Vesa's explaining that I was going to be getting the repair done somewhere else because I was told that I might not need a new regulator and they'd know as soon as my door panel was off.

I never heard back. I dropped my car with a different mechanic and they took my door panel off, told me I didn't need any new parts, and put my window back on the track properly (forgive me if this is mechanically unsound). It's working fine and I paid half of what Vesa's was going to charge. Maybe I'm missing something (as I'm really not mechanically knowledgeable), but they've lost my business for now atleast.

Vesas was very accommodating, honest, and clear about the services my car was needing and the type of damage I had after I needed to get my wheel replaced. I would highly recommend their services.

I was on my way home from work, then realized my tire sensor indicated I was losing pressure on my front tire. Pulled over and saw a nail in tire. I called a few places prior to calling VESAs and they were able to see me right away. In and out within 20 min, and was able to go about my day. Courteous and professional. Next time I need repairs done on the other cars in my household, I will go there.

I got my car inspected at VESA's today. Not only did they provide quick service, but they charged me a price that was more than fair. Service was friendly and honest. I will definitely be giving them my business in the future!

With over 325K on my 2011 Corolla, Vesa's has kept my cat running like new. Oil change, to tune-ups, tire rotations, and inspections. I know my car will perform as expected. Great folks, friendly, superior service, best of all more than reasonable prices. Always on the lookout for potential problems, keeping my future repairs problems to a minimal.

Went to Vesa's today for an inspection and experienced some of the nicest, kindest, most professional Auto experts. My service was done in record time. But what really struck me was the overwhelming kindness exhibited by those working at Vesa's. Humor and kindness go a long way in the world. I will definitely bring business here and highly recommend.

I have been taking my vehicles to Vesa's for many years. Service is always prompt, professional and thorough. I totally trust them, which is not how I always have felt about auto shops. They were initially recommended by a car fanatic who had a classic car. I am glad I followed his advice. I only go to to the dealer for recall and warranty repairs. Vesa's handles everything else to perfection.

I was told I would need 4 new calipers (and when I asked why they said they were all leaking brake fluid which is just not true) and 4 brakes - my rear tires were not taken off by the shop. Taking advantage of a single female coming in alone is an absolutely unacceptable business practice. I do not trust them. I did not need brakes or calipers to pass inspection. Thieves. Shame on you.

Great experience overall. First time there to get an AC fixed ( drained ) and a tire rotation. Reasonable price and very courteous

This is hands down the ONLY place I take my car for anything - oil changes, repairs, EVERYTHING. Great service, fair prices, friendly, and always on top of letting me know if something is looking funny or will need to be done in the future to keep my repair costs down to a minimum so it doesn't make further damage. Not one of those garages that does a so-so job so something else breaks and you have to go back, they truly take pride in their work. Always A+ service every time!

We've been bringing our cars to Vesa's for about 17 years now. They are very honest, friendly, and explain things clearly. When a car is no longer worth fixing, they tell us! Great shop. And as a woman, I have lost track of how many shops have been condescending toward me. Not Vesa's! Very professional. Highly recommend. although I do miss the shop dog!

Vesa's is amazing. I go there for oil changes, routine wear and tear stuff like brakes and rotors, and for all the big and little jobs in between. They seem to be able to fix anything and everything! I've got two Dodge minivans ('05 and 2012) with more than 100,000 miles on each that both run like dreams because Vesa's gets the job done for a great price. Josh and Larry provide excellent customer service at the front desk AND they go above and beyond to explain the what and why of any repairs. If you need work done on your cars, give Vesa's a call! You will be happy with the work.

The best mechanics in town. I speak auto, meaning I understand automobile language to a good detail. For a car that's been sitting for a month and Firestone claiming an engine replacement, was narrowed down to a sensor and got the vehicle back on the road the same day by these people. It was nothing less than a miracle. Excellent guys, and very reasonable with pricing.

They explained the entire process and parts they replaced and why they had to do so. Mechanics usually claim their experience, but these people show in their work. Highly respect them and very highly recommend them.

1st and foremost--HONEST! Super friendly, and professional. After dealer tried to charge for things I don't have I looked up my car fax info and Vesa's popped up number 1 highest stars. Not far from home with that old school country mechanic vibe everyone knows and trusts! Performed my scheduled almost 90k mi routine maintenance in a timely and affordable fashion.

So much so that I have already scheduled the next and final things. This said I forsee my car being regularly serviced, inspected, etc. at Vesa's. Proud to recommend, and I'd say 5 stars is too low. When you find a good mechanic shop, you just feel more at ease!

Both my partner and I have started taking our vehicles to Vesa's after I had an absolutely terrible experience with my previous auto shop. Vesa's recently did an inspection and oil change for me, and I was so impressed and relieved by the way they presented information about my car plainly, while being realistic about what was coming down the road (pardon the pun) and what needed to be done that day.

I needed a new tire to pass inspection, along with an alignment adjustment. When I was at Monro Muffler pre-pandemic, I think maybe January, they told me that I needed a full break replacement immediately and tried to condescend to me about why I didn't know what I was talking about when I walked away from doing that. Fast forward to October, and Vesa's let me know the break PADS had worn but were nothing urgent, and could definitely be put off.

This honesty was so refreshing and appreciated and a sure way to keep a customer. They even quoted the work that would need to be done on the breaks in the future so I could plan. This is a reminder to SHOP LOCAL and support local businesses! There's less sales pressure and I firmly believe that the people at Vesa's don't care about your gender or your knowledge of cars, they just want the people of Rochester driving away in a safe vehicle. I have found my forever mechanic and am looking forward to driving my sweet Hyundai Sonata, named Carl the Car, to the hundreds of thousands of miles mark with their help.

A very professionally run shop. The staff was very knowledegable and courteous. The communication from beginning to end was superior. I've had two large repairs done there and both were done as described and schedule. On of these repairs went more quickly then they planned and they reduced my price significantly. Super guys doing super work with lots of integrity.

I live in the DC area and used them to look at a used vehicle I was interested in at a dealership. So glad I used them. They saved me a lot of money, because the dealership the car was at claim it was flawless. It was far from it. They texted me detailed photos and pointed out all the discrepancies in the 'flawless' car. I did not purchase it. Thank you Vesa's Automotive.

My car died suddenly and I had it towed to Vesas. I was in a tight spot mobility wise as wasn't able to get there until a week after it was towed. They were extremely nice about letting me leave it there for so long. The issue ended up being a terminal engine failure and the car wasn't worth repairing. They were able to get me a decent chunk of change for scrap and were very helpful and easy to work with. Will be coming back in the future for maintenance on my new car!

Everyone was so nice and helpful. After they did the diagnostic on my car they called and explained everything that was wrong with it, they gave me a full explanation of what each thing would cost and my options. Really appreciated how they treated me and they work that they did.

I recommend Vesa's to anyone and everyone when they mention needing service. These guys are honest and fair, and there are never any surprise charges once they start work. Also their customer service is second to none! I don't like having to pay for auto repair, but when I do at least I know I'm paying for honest work.

Great first time experience at Vesa's. Took care of an inspection, oil change, and also offered a great deal on a set of 4 performance Toyo tires (tread had worn down unevenly and the handling was off). No upsell, no pushing, just honest info. Larry (co-owner) even gave me a ride back to the shop to pick er up in the evening. Great service, great guys. Will be returning with our other car as well!

I've been going here for 7 years. Definitely my favorite local auto shop! Always such friendly, prompt, and high quality service. They're very honest and always make sure you're aware of work that will need to be done eventually so you're not surprised. Prices are competitive and frankly the service puts them on top. Plus I love that they service Bosch auto parts and I'm biased because I work for Bosch!

I brought my car to have service done on a leaky tire. I selected this repair shop solely based on the outstanding reviews, and they definitely did not disappoint. John was super friendly throughout the process, and they were able to repair the tire and have me back on the road the same day.

Possibly the best interaction I've ever had with a mechanic. Completely honest, clean, no hassle, punctual, and very helpful. The first time I went to Vessa was a complete accident. I was filling my tires at the Mobile next door and had a tire problem. They got me take care of quickly and cheaply! Now that I have had a bigger issue, a wheel bearing needed replacing, I called them in the morning they got me in this day! They gave me a ride home and all said and done it came to $368 and change after tax! Not bad! They've very nice and professional!

I trust the work Vesas does on my vehicle and feel their pricing is reasonable. John is an excellent customer service rep!

I have to say that Larry was wonderful regarding keeping me updated on my car repairs. Had an accident that took out two wheels and the front end axle parts. It was a new car with less than 3,000 miles on it. Everyone was wonderful, friendly and professional. Great staff, great owners, great shop! This was my first time there and they do treat you right! I've never had a bad experience with Vesa's. I've been a customer for years (going through two different cars) and not once have I felt that I have ever had bad customer service or have I left disappointed. They do fantastic work for fair prices and are upfront with any and everything that they do. They make sure to contact you first before performing any task so that as a customer you are aware of what will be taking place. I have no problem referring anyone to Vesa's for any car work.

John, Larry, Josh and the entire crew at Vesa are honest, thorough and truly care about their customers satisfaction. They do quality work at fair prices. They keep both your safety and your budget in mind when advising you on the timing of when you need to address issues with your vehicle. I was referred to Vesa by my brother, who's been taking his family's 4 cars there for years, and I've been so pleased with their service and pricing that I've referred my friends there. A "word of mouth" reputation like they have is worth it's weight in gold.
