This shop did a great job and I had to use them instead of the place I had an appointment with across the street. I thank them.

I found this place a couple of years ago while looking for a discounted oil change on groupon. Needless to say, I've stayed with them since. Andy, Richard, and Karen are very amicable and pleasant to talk to, they've been nothing but helpful regarding my old car and all it's repairs. I've gone to them for issues ranging from a simple oil change to replacing my water pump and faulty sensors, they've offered a great service at a fair price.

They've even provided me with a tow once due to a dead battery and starter motor. Yep, I've got an old car, but with repairs and advice from Andy and Richard I've kept my old girl in fighting shape.

Andy and Karen were absolutely wonderful! Being new to town I searched thoroughly for a new auto place and they are EXACTLY what I was looking for. I spoke with Karen on the phone for about 20 minutes just making an appointment for an oil change. Andy also serviced my car and gave me helpful cost saving advice. They are the kind of people you can trust.

Since moving to New York and deciding to bring my car, I realize that no one is safe parking on the streets in New York! People will try to squeeze anywhere without consideration of the cars already parked. My car has gotten so many bumps and bruises and every time I have decided to bring my car to Andy & Karen at Uptown Motors. I found them online in 2019. They're family oriented, honest and authentic, these values stand out and will keep me coming back. Oh, and yes they always do great body & repair work!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Don't bring your car here if you care about your car. If you do I at least hope you stay there to check the work being done. They will charge you the price of oem dealer parts and will go buy cheap parts to put in your car. They act all nice and sweet as if they care about their customers but it's just a front. Do not trust them.

I wish I could warn everybody walking into that shop. They're are liars and not professional at all. That place does not deserve to stay in business. I wish I never took my car to this place.

Been my mechanic since 1995, when they were on 84th Street between 1st and 2nd Ave. On the Upper East Side, Andy and Karen are absolutely fantastic, all I needed to do was make an appointment drop of the car and they would take car of any issues I had with my vehicles, from oil change, to oil leaks, engine maintenance to body work. Highly Recommended. Honestly Professional and Knowledgeable Mechanic and Auto Body work.

I wanted full synthetic oil for my new car's first oil change, and I found Uptown Motors through a google search and Groupon. Karen and Andy are a husband and wife team. Karen is the gracious "front of house" customer service person, and Andy is the expert in the garage. The distributor messed the order up slightly, but Karen and Andy did their best to accommodate me. Richard, who did the oil change, was friendly and very knowledgeable.

The shop is easy to get to in the Bronx, but it turns out they also offer pick-up and return for free, so I'll be using that next time. The prices are reasonable. The service and convenience set them apart. I'm glad I found them.

I went today for a car inspection. They were super kind and honest. Just met Karen, however, she was so friendly that it felt as if I knew her for many years. I'll definitely bring my car back in the future for maintenance.

Hands down a trust worthy auto body shop! I brought in my mini for an oil change after purchasing a group-on! It was quick and the owners are very welcoming and gracious! I recommend and will be returning for future services!

Karen, Andrew and Tito were simply amazing. I had called ahead and found Karen to be so kind and accommodating. The work was quick, and the price was amazing. I highly recommend this Auto Garage to anyone in the area and beyond. They offer so many services to their customers it is just the perfect place, with the perfect people behind it!

I found a great deal on groupon for a oil change, decided to schedule an appointment. Karen was very pleasant over the phone. Service was right on time. Greeted by Tito. Everyone was polite service was fast. He recommended some work. No pressure like other places. I will definitely return for my services.

Karen, Tito, and Andrew took great care of my car for an oil and filter change. They were quick, courteous, and professional. I found them through Google Reviews and would highly recommend.

So glad to find them again, they used to be on East 84th St and we used them for years (decade +). Prices were fair, they always gave us the worst & best case for doing a repair (less extensive/more extensive) for our high-end car. Then few years ago, I drove down the block and noticed they were gone. Long story short, for last few years have used another uptown repair service company and they are definitely not as good.

And increasingly expensive. Looked on Yelp to change out and found Uptown again! Yay. They now pick up and deliver for free. And same owners. Will be so happy to return to a reliable, honest repair service.
