The guys are always very helpful and accommodating at this station. I mistakenly took my vehicle in an hour before my scheduled appointment for winter tire change to summer tires. Instead of sending me home they worked me into the schedule! Thanks for a great job on my tires and the great customer service!

University Chevron is my go to mechanic. No one is more thorough and takes the time to go over things with me like they do. If you have any problems with a repair they've made, they will make it right. I won't take my vehicle anywhere else because I know University Chevron has me covered and will get me back on the road quickly. I always ask for Clayton because he does great work and is honest about what you need to fix NOW and what can wait. Stop looking for another mechanic and go to University Chevron.

Recently bought a car battery from Costco and when you do that you get a 15% coupon for these guys. I needed an alignment so I went to here, and before they could even do the alignment they told me that all 4 ball joints were in need of replacement and that I needed new axle seals. My axle seals were warrantied by another shop in town, so I took them to them to have the seals replaced (for free) and while the other shop was doing so they told me that my ball joints were actually perfectly fine So not only did I not get an alignment, I paid $72 to have them tell me by ball joints were "bad." Now I didn't think these guys were wrong at first.

I drive a jeep, it's a bumpy ride. Maybe these guys used a different inspection method and saw something different? So I called the shop asking for the invoice from their inspection saying my ball joints were bad so I could show the other shop doing my axle seals. The guy on the phone cut me off before I could even ask, and accused me of calling him, and their shop, a liar. I just wanted a copy of my invoice since your printer was down. To top it off, they didn't even accept the coupon I got from Costco.

Paid to inspect timing belt during routine oil change. Months later, came in for next oil change and they told me that I was missing a bolt on the timing belt cover and that they recommend to inspect it again and replace the bolt with a cheap plastic tie ($72). Since they are too incompetent to establish causality, I suggest the potential customers should use their better judgement.

I had an appointment for tires, and to investigate a TPMS issue that my Jeep was having. I talked to Clayton who was informative, smart, friendly and professional. I rarely have trust in getting work done on my vehicle, but these guys are absolute professionals, and I had no concerns after talking to them. I did shop around, and their price was competitive.

There was a long wait for an appointment (during winterization season), but once I showed up for the appointment, they completed the work very quickly. I have a warranty, but for anything not covered by the warranty these are my new go-to mechanics.

I went to get my car winterized (oil pan heater and trickle charger) and it took roughly an hour. While being serviced, I was called with updates on important information along the way. Customer service was for polite and informative all the while being quick and attentive. I left the shop and forgot about some questions I was supposed to ask. I went back and one of the mechanics promptly came out to look at my engine with me and to answer any questions needed! 10/10 quick, friendly service with great pricing to boot! These guys know what they're doing. Would recommend to anyone who doesn't know much about cars as they were very patient with me and my many questions.

Troy and the team did an outstanding job on both of our vehicles. I was kept informed throughout the process and the work was completed on time. Our tires were wrapped in plastic and loaded up for his in the back. Everything was done efficiently and Troy followed up to ask about my experience. In a day and age where things can seem impersonal, this business is doing it the right way. They also do great things for our community.

Same owners but had more that one problem there as a college student. Grossly overcharged fir girlfriends tire repair. Tried one more time and mechanic mis diagnosed problem with car as bad "brain" when it was a tube that pulled free from manifold-no parts needed repair. I personally have had better from other shops and have a higher expectation.

My son is stationed at Fort Wainwright and needed some repair work and winterization on his car. Not being from area we had no idea who to go to. With a little help from social media we found University Chevron. Communication from start to finish was very polite and professional. The work was done in a timely manner and the price came in lower than the quote, that's always nice. It's nice to deal with a repair shop that you feel you can trust. Thank You

This is a business led by good people with honesty, integrity, and concern for excellent customer service. They have very competent people in their shop, and just a great vibe overall. It's incredibly convenient for me because I drive by it every day on the way to and from my office, but I sometimes go out of my way to get gas there on the weekends, just because I want to give them my business. And thanks to owner Troy and his staff for following up after auto service appointments to check on how things went. Nice touch. You guys rock.

I brought my car to get winterized a week back. I was given a quote a day prior and was expecting the work to cost more based on past experiences at other shops. I was more than impressed with how nice everyone was, especially explaining what was installed (to a woman who knows very little about cars) and the quote was exact. The following Monday I got a call that they overcharged me because my car was already partially winterized and offered me a refund for the work.

I was thrilled to get some cash back! Most shops would have kept the difference and I wouldn't have a clue. I'll sure to be back due to their workmanship, professionalism and honesty!

I got my 2010 Hyundai Accent GS serviced here for snow tires and winterization. I PCS'ed up from Florida to Fort Wainwright so I really was new to all of this artic driving. I came here based on the positive reviews I saw online. For winterization and 4 new studded tires, I paid $850. The guys in the shop were friendly and helpful and not pushy.

After getting my tires changed out and arriving home, the TMPS light came on. I took the car back, and they discovered a faulty sensor which they replaced for free since they were the last one's working on it. Unfortunately, their nitrogen machine went down, and I had to bring the car back a couple days later to get that done in the new tires.

All in all, I felt like I was getting an honest experience and that I wasn't being duped by mechanics that knew more than me which I feel is usually the case on the military base Firestone shops. Good experience. Will bring my car back here in the future.

First the guys at the counter are friendly and very knowledgeable. The service techs are efficient and professional. The tire and lube techs are quick and courteous. The people at Mike's are courteous and their service is prompt. Each time​ I've taken my Jeep in for repairs they have completed the work before 5pm and called me as soon as my vehicle was finished. I really appreciate getting it back before the end of the day.

Prices are fair compared to prices I've paid for dealer repairs. The customer service at Mike's is really the best I've experienced in town so far.

The vehicle had an electrical fault and was completely dead. I'm so pleased I took it to University Chevron for repair: it was as good as new in a day - much faster than I had any right to expect - and the price was very reasonable. This shop is one of the best in town! I have been a customer here for years, and they deliver great service, reasonable rates, and a wonderful atmosphere. On one of the busiest tire change-over days of the year I found a large bolt in my tire after picking up my kids from school. I had all four kids in the truck and the first several inches of snow were forecast to fall that night. After being turned away by three other places in town, University Chevron, with all of their work bays full and mechanics changing tires in make-shift work areas in the parking lot they were able to squeeze me in and fix my tire in about 15 minutes. I am very appreciative of their service and dedication to their customers I will definitely be looking them up first next time I need service on my vehicles.

Wow. It is so great when your expectations are met and even surpassed. The crew at Mike's Chevron did an outstanding job for me. I wanted to update some parts and fix some nagging repairs on my 1967 Mustang. It wasn't easy to work on a 50 year old car, but they did a great job going through the car fixing the things I requested, and also fixing things that needed repair.

They did a great job of keeping me informed on their progress, and went above and beyond following up with the parts manufacturers to overcome issues with them. I highly recommend Mike's Chevron for their great work and service you don't often see these days.
