Cars are complicated machines and it takes care to keep them running well. That is why manufacturers have maintenance schedules that explain how to keep your vehicle performing efficiently and prevent costly break downs. In a typical owner's manual you'll find: Oil change, brake fluid and pad change, coolant system service, transmission service, battery electrolyte levels, cables and terminals, tire pressure and wear, CV boots, cabin air filter, air conditioning, heater, fuel filter, air filter, belts and hoses, power steering fluid, differential service, fuel system cleaning, and wheel alignment.

Tveten's Auto Clinic was founded in 1949. We are located at 5425 Lakewood Towne Center Blvd SW, Lakewood, WA, United States. Serving the people of Lakewood, WA is our number one goal. We do that by offering quick repairs, fair prices and efficient communication from the time you walk in the door to when we hand you back your keys.
Air Conditioning Warm weather or cold, you still need to think about our vehicle's air conditioning. Most people don't service their air conditioning until after it fails. Vehicle manufacturers have preventive maintenance schedules for air conditioning service. Belts & Hoses Have us inspect your belts and hoses to make sure there are no leaks!
Warm weather or cold, you still need to think about our vehicle's air conditioning. Most people don't service their air conditioning until after it fails. Vehicle manufacturers have preventive maintenance schedules for air conditioning service, just as they do for transmission service, oil changes and so on.
Batteries are very sensitive to changes in the weather. Temperature really affects your battery's performance. A battery inspection is an important part of your spring and fall checkups. Our advisors will take a look at your battery. Is it clean and free of residue? A dirty battery will drain. Is there corrosion at the terminals where the battery cables attach to the battery? If there is, the corrosion can interfere with how efficiently electricity passes back and forth from the battery. Are the cables loose?

Tveten's Auto Clinic is a risky and dangerous auto clinic for auto repairs. Don't risk your life! My tires were re-installed wrong. My tires were loose and almost came off during my drive on the freeway. The mechanics are reckless and management is careless. Terrible customer service! Service: Auto maintenance

Fantastic. I brought in my newly purchased car for an oil change, hoping that I wouldn't get bad news about it's condition. They looked over the car and said everything was good, and took the time to explain what all services were due, and which I may want to have done. They also took the time to explain why I should not get my transmission fluid changed if it has never been changed before (I was at 160 something thousand miles).

I also had them change out all of my exterior lights. They're honest enough to have asked me why I wanted my headlights changed, since they worked and it was not entirely needed. (One was a tad dim and I just wanted them to be the same because I am a nonsense human)

Super friendly and fast! Very honest, too, although I didn't end up needing the services. I walked in to get a quote on a sensor, and I want to apologize. I have migraines due to light sensitivity, and I wear dark sunglasses. I think the poor fellow at the front desk thought I was robbing the store as I was wearing my hoodie + face mask. Sorry about that!

After hitting a curb in the snow, my mazda was super unalligned. They warned me before hand that it may be something more than just a misalignment and to be aware. After about an hour, they told me there was actually nothing else wrong and were super honest instead of lying about it to charge me. Super cool guys and front desk was super nice too. This is my trusted shop from now on. Thanks guys!

I took my '11 ACURA in because the Check Engine light was on. I received a call few hours after dropping my car off and was told they could not run the diagnostic check because my battery charge was too low. They offered to replace the battery, but I declined because I thought their cost was too high to replace a battery. I went in to pick up my car and had a bill for $149.

I asked what the charges were for, and was told it was for checking the battery. I was shocked and paid the bill and drove home. This has bothered me for days. Hence this review. The battery was disconnected because all my settings were deleted. Can Tvetens explain to me why I had to pay $149, only to be told I needed a new battery, and my original problem was not addressed? I have been a customer since 2005.

This establishment is VERY professional! The hospitality is through the roof. I will be taking my truck to them until I leave for another duty station. Ray was super nice, respectful, and professional. I don't remember the lady's name at the front desk but she was also the same as Ray. They fixed my truck in a timely manner and it's running very good now.

There was no price gouging just because I'm a woman. ( alot of mechanics go up on prices when a woman walks in) Tveten's Auto Clinic is honest. I will recommend anyone to Tvetwn's Auto Clinic.

I gave a three star because Tvetens does have very good customer service and will indeed look after you and your vehicles needs. However they charge way too much in my opinion. I asked for a quote on changing my front brakes (pads and rotors) and to flush my brake fluid and they estimated $750-$800. A job I knew I could do myself. I got better brakes then they were gonna throw on, all the tools needed for the job for only $220.

No way its $500+ in labor. I have also had other outrageous quotes for small jobs. Nevertheless they do a great job, but the same job can be done at other great auto clinics for half the labor cost.

My overall experience was good having my car worked on at this shop. They even paid for free towing. My only complaint was the price. But I got what I paid for: Great Service!
