Trolling Motor Doctor

My Torqueedo suddenly stopped working and I took it in to Nick and Anne. Nicest people you could meet. Greeted me like I was a long lost friend and fixed it on the spot! Really--while I waited. Could not ask for better service. Thank you so much Nick. Now I just wish I could find a place to service my Mercury with as good of service as The Trolling Motor Dr.

Nick and Anne have always been super helpful. They are godsend for any tournament angler with trolling motors issues.

I just need to say how much I appreciate Nick and the team at TMD! I live in Virginia, about as far away as you can get from California. He took to time to talk to me over the phone and help me with my motorguide. Time is money when you have your own business and I fully understand that he didn't have to do that. Not only did he diagnose the problem over the phone but he walked me through the fix.

I had a problem with my trolling motor. Called the doctor and he got me in the next morning. All fixed in 1/2 day! He is a real pro. Old school type skills. Can fix and not just replace.

I have been using these guys since they opened and the service, technical know how, and friendly service is unparalleled. Anne and Nick always go out of their way to get me what I need and their prices are great.

No better repair shop around. I had a 12V trolling motor repaired a couple years ago at the Trolling Motor Doctor and it was like brand new. Present day, I thought my 24V Motor Guide was on it's last leg. The prop would spin and then slow down to nothing. I brought the motor in and as before, the owner and his wife were the most wonderful people to talk with.

Instead of just taking the motor and charging me, the owner carried the motor to the shop, tested it with me present, and it worked perfectly. He told me it's probably a battery issue which was something I didn't suspect due to the batteries being fairly new. Not only did he tell me to check my batteries, he gave me the tool to test the batteries.

What business has this kind of service nowadays? No other that I can think of. I went home, tested my batteries, and found that one of them was failing when under load. The Trolling Motor Doctor saved me a bunch of money and provided the customer service that I haven't seen in years. This is the place to go for repairs or purchase of a new trolling motor or marine electronics. They will definitely have my business.

Beyond helpful in getting my Minn Kota PowerDrive v2 warrantied after a less than fun maiden voyage. Will be back to do future business! Husband and wife were beyond nice and helpful!

This is the second time ordering from this company. I have to say they are very friendly very professional and very helpful. First order was just a brush for my Minnkota troll motor. Shipping was super fast. Second was the armature Assy. Same result. Fast service. Shipped out immediately and packaged well. Received part without any damage. I've been taking my Minn Kota TM, here for years. The owners are happy to help, and do quick service / repairs. It's nice to have a shop with old fashion valves on customer service, and don't nickel and dime you. I highly recommend them, you won't be disappointed.
