Restoration and repair of classic american and european cars and trucks. This is a large facility with technicians working on many different phases of restoration. Very easy to get to with access to I-83.

So today proved to be a very nice surprise. I found Treasured Motorcars virtually by word of mouth. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Allison and was given a spur of the moment tour of the shop. Although I wasn't there as a potential customer, I wouldn't hesitate to let them tackle a project or restoration. The variety of marques in their processes is phenomal and varies widely. I would think that this alone speaks for the depth and ability to be found there. Amazing! Go Allison! Thanks for your time. Kevin

Not sure what's going on with the slew of negative reviews, but a lot are one-star with no explanation, and a few with one sentence about a $300 brake job or "took my truck in" which don't really seem to fit Treasured Motorcar's business. So I thought I'd chime in with my experience: Years ago in my late 20s I bought a Volvo 1800S from NC and brought it up to Baltimore.

Despite probably being the lowest-end car in their shop at the time, TMS happily agreed to go over the car and give their assessment. They gave me a tour of the shop, talked cars, and Chuck (a long-time Volvo tech during the 70s?) talked Volvo 1800s with me for a long, long time and told me a whole lot about the model that I didn't know (despite the fact that the guy was in the middle of rebuilding a 12-cylinder ferrari engine, I think, out of a 330 2+2).

They gave me a list of things that could use improvement, in order of importance, all of which I agreed with, and some of which I had them do at a very fair price. I certainly never felt bamboozled or pressured, and always enjoyed going in there to talk to staff amd see what cars they were working on.

Just returned from a 1600+ mile round trip to Springfield IL and my 2004 Land Rover Discovery II performed splendidly! Additionally, I averaged just over 16 mpg even with the a/c running the entire journey. While many folks may not have had such similar success with the LR brand, especially one over 12-years-old, I attribute my continued happy experience to the team at Treasured Motorcar Services.

From a comprehensive program to help diagnose issues BEFORE problems arise to quality maintenance and repair services, the folks at Treasured Motorcar know their craft. They understand an owner's commitment to their vehicle and work hard to satisfy even the most demanding. In a time where "customer service, " "attention to detail" and "quality" are little more than marketing catch phrases designed to appeal to an unsuspecting public, they are THE mantra of Treasured Motorcars.

These folks are obviously competent at thier craft. They are capable of good work. BUT, In my experience, I believe the following statements to be true: 1. The answers I got to questions I asked were not designed to benefit me or my vehicle, They were designed to get as much money from me as poosible. 2. The work that was done ended up costing me a lot of money after I picked up my vehicle, because of the work done. 3.

When my vehicle was delivered to me, it was not safe to drive. If my questions had been answered honestly, I would have been told this. Instead, I took it on a 20 mile drive that ended badly. 4. Some of the work appears to have been done to my vehicle in a design to conceal the fact that my it was in poor condition. 5. There was a COMPLETE lack of value in the tens of thousands of dollars I expended. 6.

Just about any shop you pick will give you better quality experience and value. This isnt because they dont know how, but that they dont care about you or your vehicle as much as profit. 7. There were some minor problems with some of the work done, but I didnt want my vehicle in thier shop to fix them. My opinion of them is that poor. 8. One word to describe them: "scam artists". Buyer beware!

TERRIBLE business. Against better judgement, I decided to try this shop out. Needless to say, their customer service deserves zero stars. I dropped my car off and was given the fee for them to see whats wrong with it. After 3 days of them having my car and no communication from them at all, I'm told my bill was now $350 more than they said due to labor for them diagnosing the issue with my truck--- apparently the "diagnostic charge" is just for turning the computer on and doesn't include them actually diagnosing the issue, surprise! (That would've been nice to know on day 1).

When I pushed back on the pricing for the service, they treated me like I was trying to pull a fast one on them! haha. I cut my losses and got my car out of there ASAP because frankly, there is no transparency in their business practices, they are rude once they have your car hostage, and I do not trust them. THEY HAVE MASTERED THE ART OF SHADY BUSINESS --- I guess I found out why their reviews are so bad.

I was told they had an "off site body shop" only to find out it was Maaco in Hanover PA. The car was dropped off at Treasured for emblem removal. They had the "off site body shop" paint the entire car with a quick paint job, ruining it. I had to call the police to get them to release the car. Now I am being told "it's between you and Maaco" I feel bad for the guy that has the 55 Porsche 356 there, I bet he does not know it's a Maaco.
