Jolene is Marv Jensen's Daughter. She has been with us for 20 years. She manages the books, helps with phones and helps us with delivering Clients to work and home. Kyle has been with Jensen's for almost 5 years. He works back in the machine shop. He works Boring and Honing Blocks, Decking Blocks, Reconditioning Connecting Rods and can help in the Head Department.
A: The Check Engine Light come on when the computer has determined there may be something wrong. Most problems can be scheduled when convenient and repaired as soon as possible. If the light is flashing, the car should not be driven until repaired. With the light flashing, the Catalytic Converter can be damaged.

I was traveling cross country when my car suddenly shut off and wouldn't work on a Sunday. I was able to speak with Paul that evening and schedule to come in the next day. Don and his team were able to squeeze me in on short notice and my trip was only delayed by 3 hours, so I was able to get back on the road with no problem. This was the best and kindest auto shop I have ever experienced.

Seems many here had a good experience but not me and 2nd Napa shop. Today after I made few days ahead appointment to Jensen/Napa shop after arriving on my appointment was told that they can NOT get my car in shop for a week they want me to leave the car in the shop. Imagine get appointment then told to wait.a week for a work of 1-2 hrs. SAD but will not worth to drive my mess up car back.

I've been using the machine shop for small services here and there for years and have noticed some trends. Don't expect to pay their advertised prices. Don't expect Karl to be very friendly. Expect to pay a shop supply fee no matter what the job is. That being said, they always come through and they fit me in today. I will continue to use their machine shop services and recommend them to others.

I took a set of heads here on a recommendation from a friend of mine. It's not the closest machine shop to my house. Not by a long shot. But they got my heads done in just under 30 days, and there was problems with the parts that were sent to them not working with my heads. Overall I was impressed. My heads needed everything, and I knew it. I spent $1200 for hardened exhaust seats, valve guides, valves, springs, retainers, everything.
I felt like I paid a fair price, and even though there was some issues with getting some of the parts, I felt like I got the heads back pretty quickly. I'd have been waiting another month at the shop that's closest to me, so there's a lot less downtime. I would definitely go back there again.
