I've been going to Superior for nearly 5 years and Joe and Mike take good care of my 2007 Toyota Tundra which is originally from New Hampshire with rust issues - they have given it a longer life and at 215000 miles it's still going strong! I highly recommend these mechanics for their education and dedication to each issue they have come up against with my truck. Reasonable prices and high quality products.

Purchased a Groupon and made an appointment the day before. When I arrived for my appointment it was CLOSED. Called the number to check and received a message that it would be closed today. A complete WASTE of my time.

Dishonest mechanics who gouged me. I later found out that I was grossly overcharged for parts and service. Had my car towed there primarily because they advertise as specializing in Toyotas. He charged me over $2200! When I went over the same service and parts with a different mechanic, his estimate would have been only $1100! The dishonest mechanic also wanted to replace the calipers and routers front and back, flush the hydraulic system, and wanted to charge me $1320!

I wanted a second opinion, and he gave me a hard time about picking me up so I could get my car back (he was very mean). I took my car to this other mechanic and he said I didn't need the calipers and routers in the back changed. So to change the front calipers, routers, and flush out the hydraulic system - only $248! I highly recommend Japanese Auto Tech in Upland.

I've been taking my cars here for years and the job is always done right, with attention to detail. Joe always gets it done in a timely manner and explains everything in detail, even shows me the old parts and why they were not working! Thanks guys for the great experience(s).

I'm a long time customer of SEI Auto Repair, 25 years at the very least. What keeps me coming back is the quality work. I like that fact that I can count on them to do the job right. They alert me to potential problems, quote prices for those repairs and give estimates on normal upcoming maintenance. The estimates help me budget for future work to be done.

They even told me once I could get a few thousand miles more on my rear drum brakes when I thought it needed new rear brakes. I'm sure I could find a mechanic that would charge less and some that would charge more, but I'm happy with Joe, John and Mike. Years ago my car broke down on the freeway and I had it towed there. At the time I didn't have the money to fix it until my next payday a couple weeks away. Joe knew me as a repeat customer and I guess he trusted me because he fixed it that day anyway and said pay me when you get paid.

These guys, brothers in fact, are very knowledgeable about auto repairs. You get what you pay for and with SEI Auto Repair I personally feel I get a job well done and by honest mechanics. One other thing I've noticed about these guys, their hair has gotten a little gray over the years, much like mine.

Took my 1998 Camry in because the battery was constantly being drained. Turns out there were a whole mess of electrical problems with it. Mike and Joe did good work and had great customer service. I drove it home the same day.

I do not recommend using this buisness. I already wrote a review. However, I am not comfortable reviewing a business if I have a bad experience. The reason is that I noticed I received a response from the business. I did not review them to have an online discussion. They were not responsive or polite to me in the business when I needed clear language of why my brakes that they replaced in May. needed replacing in August. Joe only said they were heated.

I do not know sitll why they needed replaced. I was so uncomfortable and felt very disrespected that I didn't want to even go in. I do not really feel safe still. These are my brakes. I wanted to know what it meant about the heating and why my back brakes need to be replaced since I had them replaced at Midas right before I moved here to California. Joe, ,, rudely, said take it up with them.

I really wanted a mechanics opinion of why I just spent so much money there ($600) and Midas ($580) and still not safe. But, I do not want to have a confrontation at all about it. Only answers. My son is injured and I need a reliable car. I am here in a town without anyone and have to trust strangers. I am like everyone and just hope my mechanic does and good job and is decent to me. As I said, I do not recommend this business.

I came to use SEI from buying a groupon for a smog test. Joe and Mike were great. I got an appointment quickly and they were prompt in completing the smog test. I had failed the test at another location about a month earlier and attended to making sure I had done all I could to ensure the car would pass this time. The guys explained what might have caused the failure last time.

They were very knowledgeable about the difference in state and federal standards and that my car was under the federal. The car passed this time with no problems. They also gave the car a quick once over and noted that I will need a new belt in a few months. I am new to this area and am happy to have found Joe and Mike. The center is clean and pleasant with a comfortable waiting room and easy parking. I intend to use SEI as my service center from now on.

If i could leave zero stars I would. Front desk guy was very nice but way over priced. They were charging me 1100 for a job that other places were quoting me 600. That's not the worst part. I didn't even need the job! And I took it to a couple different places to verify. I wouldn't go.

I found this place through Groupon, I went in and had an oil change. The mechanics there are very friendly, they made me aware of what my car is in need of for future visits. Mechanic Mike was very knowledgeable and explained to me what he was talking about so I can visually understand. I was given an estimate on what else my car needed without being pushy or feeling obligated. This was my first time here and I recommend this place!

If I could, I would leave zero stars. Tried to use a Groupon and the owner tells me that my car (2012 Fiat 500) requires a "special" oil filter. He tells me that it will cost me an additional $8.00. I have had my oil changed numerous times and he is the first to lie to me and tell me it requires a special filter. DO NOT TRUST HIM! HE IS A SCAM ARTIST.

A little out of the way but worth the drive. If you're looking for a trusted and reliable mechanic, this is the place. Don't have to worry about going with the wife to get an estimate for fear of "over-charging". Good to have a "go-to" mechanic that takes care of the problem without over selling for other services. Very happy with them.

Terribly overpriced. Took my car here to simply fix a headlight and it ended up costing a fortune. They do extra work and order extra parts without authorization and will force you to pay for it anyway. After asking what they paid for the part versus what they charged me he said he could not tell me because he was running a business but said they do not markup over 25%. Looking at what I was charged for the part I feel this statement is not true. Would not recommend this place at all.

Wow, every time I take my car in, they are always so good to me. I have been going to SEI for at least 10 years. They are so easy to talk to and really work with me on any issues with my car. If there are multiple issues, The guy up front will list my repairs in order of severity, and I work my way down the list (this sometimes takes several visits, but I believe it has saved me from having to replace bigger things like a transmission or engine).

This makes it more affordable for me and they always provide me with a ride back to work or home. They ALWAYS offer to return my old parts and show me where the parts went bad. Oh, and they do smog checks! I am extremely happy I have someone who I can trust, and will give me answers to my quesitons!

I recommend this shop for all your automotive needs! I went in for an oil change that my husband had purchased from Groupon & I was immediately impressed by their friendly, knowledgable staff. They advised me of some items that needed to be handled right away.a new battery & front brakes (which I already had a feeling I was in need of), and then a few repairs that could wait to be done in a few months. Joe took the time to explain all the repairs I needed in detail and answered any questions that I had.

I ended up taking my car in the next week and had all the repairs done. Joe not only drove me home from the shop, he gave me a discount that I presented to him for checking in on Yelp and he steam cleaned my engine at no additional cost. He went above and beyond any shop I ever took my car to. I am one happy, satisfied customer and have found an honest mechanic that I can take my car to for all future services. Thanks again Joe & SEI for everything! My husband will be bringing his truck in next!

This shop I highly recommend. They listen carefully to the problem you are having. They will inform you of any other fixes your vehicle will need soon. With that they will quote you prices of that fix. If you are in need of a ride home or work and that location is fairly close they will provide transportation.

This shop is honest and very helpful, Joe help me with my car, went to several car repair shop and they are charging me so much. This shop is highly recommended, Thanks again Joe.

I'd say stay away from this place unless you want to get ripped off and get a run around. I took in my 85 chevy blazer in march because a friend had referred them to me. After they did a diagnostic on my truck, they said that I blew 2 piston rings and that they could fix it but it would be better to rebound the engine. So the total quote was around $3,000.

Half of that was for the re manufactured block, which came with a three year warranty nation wide. They said they can't start on the truck until I paid the for the block which was around $1,400. So when I paid that they ordered the block and I continued to pay off the balance of the quote. A month went by with no contact and when I finally started to ask about when the truck would be ready, they kept telling me two weeks.

After 2 months of this I called and I got the phone passed back and forth to Paul, Mike and I think Joe. Mike finally said he was the guy to talk to if any questions needed to be answered. So after I finally got upset that the truck had just been sitting and the old engine still hadn't been removed, he calls me the next day and tells me that they removed the engine and that it would be another $1,800 to fix the truck. Don't trust these guys!

Especially Mike! He will lie to your face and give you a run around. Even when I ask if I could bring a friend that knew more about mechanics, he said that he wouldn't let him look at the truck. To end this all, I have to say that my truck still runs like shit, my thermostat is out, my power steering pump went out 4 days after I got the truck back and they charged me 300 to fix that!

And two weeks after that, the brand new radiator that they installed went out. They fixed it without my permission but they said that something off the road hit it an I had to pay another $100 for a warranty that I think should have been covered. I say stay far from this place and don't make a mistake like I did! Do your research. They are not noble men and don't stick to what they say! They still owe me a free oil change but I'd rather pay for it some place else cause the trust is gone!

Don't trust them. They suck. They charge for work that has never been done. Divinity rip off. Don't go there. Keep your money and try another place. I have spent over 5k here and found out work was never done.
