Wonderful, reliable garage! Mechanic Andrew is always willing to discuss price range and expectations before doing repairs. My Volkswagen rabbit is a 2007 and has needed many services over the years, most recently an inspection and new tires. Andrew asked me about what my concerns were and I expressed safety was most important, but I was on a tight budget; we looked through a list of options in my price range w solid safety ratings.

He made suggestions and immediately ordered the tires we agreed on. He was able to replace the tires right after they arrived (along w a few other things to meet inspection standards) within the day. As a person that needs my car to visit multiple clients per day and can't afford to take more than a day off, getting my car back immediately was very important, and he did just that. The price was fair (no surprises) and the handling on my car feels like it's new again! I can't recommend this place enough.

Had my Honda van brought to Andrew and Tom. I tried several places prior and they either didnt know how to work on these vans, or told me needed completely different things from what I really knew need. I spoke to Andrew told him what was going on, He squeezed in my van between vehicles checked everything for me told me whatvwas needed and prices.

Great communication! I use my van locally only and sometimes to drive clients to apps or get groceries. I got my van today and very happy with service I know I will need to get a couple more things done but very glad they work on many things, so I don't have to jump from place to place. So I called Tom's garage desperately needing a repair to my husband's tire that I had some how gotten a nail in of course on my watch. When called I got Andrew who told me I can come right down I did with my two little ones in tow and within 10 minutes my tire was done. When I asked how much it was going to cost Andrew smiled at me with a BIG and told me to have a Very Merry Christmas and to be safe.

A business especially a small one who shows such kindness and compassion for the safety and well being of their customers is a business that will always get my business. I highly recommend Tom's garage a and ESPECIALLY Andrew for any car needs they can do! Thank you sooo much for restoring my hope in kindness is always there.

On our way home after a recent trip to PA we found that a nail had pierced our tire and we were losing air fast. We desperately called local garages all of whom said they could not (or would not) help us. That's when we called Tom's garage and had the pleasure of talking to a kind man who not only was happy to help, but also seemed genuinely concerned about our dilemma.

He made sure we got to his garage safely and took care of us right away so we get back on the road. In addition to to being efficient and professional, we also found him to be incredibly warm and friendly. We feel fortunate to have encountered Tom's Garage and this kind man, and would highly recommend this establishment.

Been taking cars here for years and always been taken care of. I've purchased cars, had minor repairs done and major work as well. Tom always explains to me thoroughly what work was completed and why as well as provides you with a detailed breakdown of the cost. This isn't some quick lube place. Tom and his team have extensive experience and he's a jack of all trades.

Might not be the cheapest option in the area to get your car worked on but I've never been overcharged, taken advantage of or misled like I have at other places for small things. Highly recommend Tom's Garage.

Problems with my 2003 Saab 9-3 led me to find Tom's Garage. Four calls to other places who would not even touch my old Saab.fifth call was a charm! From the beginning, Tom and his master mechanic Andrew worked with me over a period of time to fix some necessary work. All the things I want in a mechanic: experienced, accessible, fair, honest, budget-minded, and thorough. AND.no big dollar surprises!

He goes over all the work he estimates ahead so you know what you are getting into. By his own admission Tom is not a trial and error guy which means he works thoroughly to get to the heart of the problem and get it fixed. Extra plus is that they were cognizant of the fact that without a car means a rental substitute which I have hardly ever needed.

Drop off in the morning, get the work done ( or stages of the problem worked on in my case) and then back to me better than before. I recommend them highly and continue to trust them with my aging but great car. We're fortunate to have these guys in Scranton. John H.Scranton

If I could give Tom's Garage more then a 5/5 star rating I would. The employees at Tom's are professional, fast, polite, and experts at what they do. Not only are they quick to help, but also eager to answer questions and provide any other assistance they can. I've had excellent experiences with them and would recommend to anybody in need of a quick fix for any of their automotive troubles from a simple tire change to the biggest of jobs.

Just got my car back from Tom. I walked in thinking it was my alternator ready to get it replaced, paying much more money in the process. Tom checked my car to reveal that it was just my terminals. Taught me a very valuable lesson, saved me money, and definitely has my business if and when my car starts acting up again.

Typical mechanic who installs something in your car without notifying you and then charges you for it on the back end. Car needed a quick oil change. I come back to get a $150 bill because he installed a filter. Told him I didn't ask for it, the guy was very rude. NOT coming back here again.
