Tom Finch Automotive opened for business in 1986. After years of working on cars for friends, Tom decided he could make a living doing something he enjoyed. The business has gradually expanded to include collision work and mechanical repairs. The shop has gone from a one man operation to employing six automotive professionals.

The place was extremely friendly, with genuinely nice staff that actually will transport you there and back. The office girls are great, the price is cheaper. They definitely do a good job on your vehicle but If they feel like they can overcharge you they will try for sure. They gave me a unreasonable estimate on my upper and lower ball joints so I took it somewhere else and got it fixed for $700 less than what Tom Finch's wanted charge. I've had other work done on my Jeep by Tom Finch's and never had a issue with the price until this time.
My boyfriend was also unreasonably charged for his new alternator and new spark plugs he had to pay $1200 for that. They also charge you to just look at your vehicle I had to pay $91 for them to just tell me what was wrong with it. I've never been charged by any other place to look at my vehicle at least nowhere near $100.

When we couldn't get our normal shop to fix what was wrong we called all the shops we could. Most had 2 week - 2 month waiting lists (can some of you young adults drop out of college and go to trade school please) Tom Finch Auto took us right in, diagnosed the problem (cracked flex plate) and had it fixed the next day. We have a new normal shop. Very impressed.

Been doing business with Finch for many years. Never had a problem with my service or repair work. They promptly find the problem and fix it. If the repair is going to be costly they discuss it with you first. I may not enjoy spending money on vehicle repairs but at least I know it's getting fixed right. Glad to have a dependable place that can do the work.

01-27-2017 bought a 5 year Megatron battery 08-28-2018 battery dead. Took it back to Finch who claimed that the defective battery was replaced. 09-28-2018 battery will not turn 11-14-2018 got vehicle started and took it to have battery tested. Battery was bad. Most likely bad when it was originally installed. Battery was never replaced as I was told.

With 4 vechiles and 6 drivers in our family, we have had our share of accidents. We have used Tom Finch Automotive for years and have NEVER had a complaint. The qoutes have been accurate and the only time the work was delayed was due to fixing a hybrid that had engine damage (new model of the car and parts were delayed from Toyota).
