In 1994, ASE Master Technician, Todd Black opened Unlimited Service. The name he chose represents our corporate philosophy and identity. We offer our customers a level of service beyond what many have come to expect from an automotive repair shop. We understand the investment our customers make in their vehicles and it is our goal to help make that investment last and be dependable as long as possible. All of our technicians are ASE certified and continue to learn, develop and test their skills against today's automotive technology and diagnostic equipment.

Great biz, especially if you have a hybrid. Been coming here for years and they are timely, helpful, affordable and honest. Called them to see if they would install new parts (shock absorbers) I had sourced myself but I guess they like to make their money on a mark-up of parts as well as their labour rates. They wouldn't install the shocks! Caution if you're getting parts from this business. I'll probably just go to a few shops in Seattle that said they had no problem doing this.

They did a good job putting a transmission and radiator into my car. Due to unforseen issues it took a bit longer than expected but their service advisor Mike did a great job keeping me informed of the situation on a regular basis. Overall they charged a fair rate, did a good job and were honest throughout the entire ordeal. Thank you!

I went here a few times because it was so close to my house it was easy to get to with car trouble. BUT! The first thing they fixed for me they quoted me about $200 which seemed about right. Then they charged me over $400. THEN my brakes were squeaking and they quoted me over $400 again, saying my pads and roters were shot. My dad has worked on cars his entire life, and seeing he lives in a different part of WA he couldn't help me with this.
He said to tell them I wasn't interested because he could just do it for cheaper. Unlimited Service gave me a big lecture about how unsafe it would be and how they couldn't be liable. Fine. I had them change my brake pads because I was told that was part of the problem- $230. Then when I went home and had my dad look at my roters and he said they weren't ruined at all like Unlimited Service had said.
I'm not sure the motivation of this, I am a young woman and they clearly tried to take advantage of me not knowing about cars. I would get a second opinion from literally anywhere else if you get a ridiculous quote here.

These are the most amazing people. I actually drove all the way from Portland to have them work on my car. I do not trust anyone else. They even came under the quoted price which is so awesome, and almost unheard of. They are the most honest mechanics I have ever dealt with in my 64 yrs on this earth. Thank you Ultimate.

I have been going to Unlimited Services Downtown for years now and can't say enough about the friendly service and cost of service. Todd is amazing, if your hybrid vehicle needs work, Unlimited Service is your place. He knows what he is doing and does a fantastic job. He always goes the extra mile to help us as needed. I moved out of the state and wasn't sure how I was going to find another hybrid qualified mechanic. But, once again Todd came through and referred me to someone in my new location. I still go to Unlimited as needed when I am in Bellingham and look forward to the great friendly service I always receive.

My family and I have trusted our cars to Todd and crew at Unlimited Service for over 20 years and I can't imagine going anywhere else. It's comforting knowing that if I have any issue at all that Unlimited Service will be able to figure it out and fix it at a reasonable cost. I have to ask google or my friends for a recommendation when I need a plumber or electrician, but not for car stuff.
In fact, it makes me very happy to recommend Unlimited Service when people ask me. It feels like I'm giving them a gift of honest, skillful, automotive expertise for the rest of their life!

Nice folks I suppose, but not happy on the quality of service. Took my Subaru in this summer because the clutch had been giving me troubles/making weird noises. 200 some dollars later, they tell me it's fine and send me on my way. Month later my clutch went out. Wish I could have taken it somewhere else to be properly diagnosed and actually fixed so I'm not stuck on the side of the road. Had taken another vehicle in before, too expensive to get **just** a diagnosis from them. Will not be returning.
