We were traveling across the country. Blew out a brake light on our VW Passat. Called Monday morning, they said they would call later with a time to bring the car in for the repair. Tuesday at 8 was the appointment time, greeted with a family type of shop, coffee while my husband waited and the repair was finished in minutes. Price was great, service was wonderful and we were back on the road!

I paid almost $3k and my car was still not working; they swore that the car was not acting that way whenever they got it when it was like that since they beginning (for keeping it for almost 3 weeks I think that's crazy)In the quote I received it never said the car would not end up working it just said that the car could possibly still go in limp mode which doesn't mean the car wasn't going to start at all. They were surprised it didn't and still didn't do anything about it.

DO NOT EVER USE THIS BUSINESS. PAT THOMAS THE "OWNER" IS SO RUDE SHE SHOULDN'T EVEN BE ABLE TO MANAGE ANYTHING MORE LESS AN AUTOMOTIVE SHOP. OUR MECHANIC TOWED IN A VEHICLE AT 4PM AND SHE SAID THAT WAS SO DISRESPECTUFL TO THEIR BUSINESS. I'VE NEVER MET SOMEONE SO RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. STAY AWAY. BAD PEOPLE. BAD BUSINESS. BE AWARE. THE FIRST TIME I CALLED IN SHE HUNG UP ON ME, I CALLED BACK AND ASKED TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE ELSE BECAUSE PAT WAS SO RUDE AND UNWILLING TO ME. THE LADY AT THE FRONT DESK SAID TIM WOULD GIVE ME A CALL BACK. PAT CALLED ME BACK STRAIGHT AWAY AND SAID HOW DARE I CALL AND SAY SHE WAS RUDE & THAT SHE HADN'T EVEN SHOWN ME RUDE YET. I THINK HANGING UP ON A CUSTOMER WOULD BE CONSIDERED "RUDE" BUT MAYBE THAT'S JUST ME. I UPLOADED A PHOTO FOR IDENIFICATION OF PAT, THE OWNER.

I brought my car in after going to the autobahn in hopes of getting a cheaper estimate on a coolant leak. I dropped it off on a Thursday and it wasn't seen until the next Thursday. They told me the issue was too difficult for them to fix and charged me $200. I was unaware of a fee when dropping my car off. When I asked about it they were rude and very vague about what they did for that price. They took advantage of a young girl in a desperate situation. Would not recommend this place as they basically charge for walking in the building.

This is one of the most friendliest establishments I have ever came across. I walked in and was greeted right away, made me feel so welcome. Highly recommend this business!

Unfortunately this company is extremely unprofessional and the lady who makes the appointments is quite rude. Find another shop like Eurospec on Alta Mere.

Awful customer service from the receptionist. Hung up after belittling me. If I could give 0 stars I would.

With me owning a German car, they are the only place I can go to and know it'll get done right. Every time I go there I am always greeted by their small dog and kindness from them.

Tims german auto employees were very friendly and nice. however the quote I was given was filled with maybe and what ifs.an radiator hose that was 15 yrs old failed. they quoted replacing both hoses ( acceptable).water pump (less than 1 yr old), thermostat ( less than 1 yr old), expansion tank, sensors etc.1300.00 worth of work. I accepted hoses and sensor, they still charged me 500+ dollars! I can't recommend them.

My daughter was traveling back from Oklahoma, when her low oil pressure light in her Volkswagen came on. We had just had her car serviced at a regular service center. We live in Austin, and don't know Fort Worth very well. I googled Tim's German Auto and even though they were fully booked they let her bring the car in and fixed the problem quickly and at a great price! I highly recommend them to anyone with a German car in the Fort Worth area. Thank you Tim's German Auto for helping my daughter out and giving us peace of mind!

Quick, accurate, & mostly painless. These guys know European cars! European cars tend to have more expensive parts & labor costs than Asian & domestic cars, so that's not their fault. I have a car lift at home, but certain things are better left to the professionals! Friendly, home-like atmosphere. No stuffy attitudes. If you're looking to get spoiled with fancy beverages & lied to, go to the dealers in the surrounding area.

Tims has serviced all of our family "fleet" of Audis and VWs for years. They are absolutely the most trustworthy, competent import service garage in Fort Worth - they will make you feel like part of the Tim's family! No need to pay high dealer prices for routine maintenance and they are spot on with repairs and general service too. Highly recommend.

Dropped off car on Monday afternoon, and today 2 days later on Wednesday I have it back. They found why my turbo wasn't working and charged me a fair amount to fix it. Happy with them and would definitely use them again in the future. Oh and they found an issue I wasn't aware of that's safety related and fixed that for 80. So happy with this shop, you can't go wrong with Tim's German Auto.

I couldn't recommend Tim's more! Everyone who worked there was friendly, honest, and they completed the work on my car quickly.

So glad we found this place. My daughters little Volkswagen has finally found a home where they will treat it right. Had extensive work done on her Beetle and she is very happy. The customer service is amazing and Tim made sure my daughter knew how to check her oil. Tim also thoroughly explained all the repairs. We even got an awesome referral to another repair shop for our Cadillac.

I have taken the whole family's cars to Tim's for several years. They do excellent and reasonably priced maintenance and repairs on all Mercedes and Lexus vehicles. They also work on other brands. The staff is friendly and very helpful. It feels like a family organization and they are responsive and trustworthy. I highly recommend them.

Took my car in for a wheel bearing replacement and they fixed the car without any issues. Funny thing is, I had a weird sound not wheel bearing related that I couldn't figure out what the issue was. Took it to a shop and they told me it was my shocks, proceeded with the replacements and the sound proceeded after about 2 days. Fast forward, after ignoring that sound my car started to growl around 30-40, so decided to take it in. Got my wheel bearing/wheel hub assembly replaced and it took care of both issues.

So now I'm convinced it was the wheel bearing being worn all along and I wasted some money at the other shop. If you're looking to get things done right the first time. Come visit this shop for all your European auto needs. I will be back. Also the customer service was great as well, family owned and operated. Love it

I highly recommend Tim's for any car issues. They are fairly priced, honest, and experienced mechanics who know what they are doing. I feel extremely lucky to have found them when my car started to have engine issues and they helped me decide if it was worth fixing or to start looking for a new car. Can not say enough positive things.

If there was the ability to give 10 stars I would again and again. I have used Tims three times now for my Audi A5. Not only do they have the sweetest ladies and the cutest "shop dog" working the front office their techs are amazing. My last visit I was reporting my car would make a noise when I would brake then turn. Turned out to be a can of tire shine under the seat.

I was mortified and they were gracious! I had lunch sent to them the next day! They are honest, fair, and delightful to work with. I will only take my car to Tim in the future!

The staff at Tim's German Auto will provide you with superior workmanship and service. They are a fun, caring, and eccentric group that is never boring to visit, even the office dogs are fun. If you are looking for locally owned and genuine car people this is the place for you.

First of all, Tim's probably has the best customer service of any repair shop I've ever been. The two ladies that work there are some of the sweetest people I've ever met. Secondly, they know what they're talking about, and they have really great prices. Will definitely be bringing my Audi back here!

Great service. Got a light changed and a new grill for my VW Beetle and was in and out in less than an hour!

Well I can't work on a car myself so I need to trust someone. I've dealt with them several times, they are big salesman, seem very straight forward. For this i will continue to use them. Plus they have a couple really cool dogs which is always a plus.

I have had my car at Tims 3 times in the last 6 months. The first 2 times they had it nearly 2 weeks before I got it back and I decided I would not go back again. Unfortunately, they put in a bad master cylinder and I didn't have a choice. They have had I a week so far and when I called to check on it I was told "they are working on it". If you're not in a hurry and you like poor customer service, this the place to take your car

Our Wolfsburg Jetta had a problem that so many other Jetts's seem to have. Tim helped us work through the issues by listening to my point of view from what I have read and I listened to him on what would be the best plan of action. Our Jetta is working better than it has ever has since I bought it last year. He has a great friendly staff and most times you talk with him directly when you call.

With someone with a company like he has, I will not take my Jetta any other place than to Tim's. Do not shy away from here. If you have an check engine light/accelerator issue go see Tim. I look forward to the next time I want to go to keep my car in top running performance. Mitch Lambert
