Gotta be a regular Jeep guy to know why a 2+ hr roundtrip is totally justifiable to have my 2019 JLU looked at. "Service Shifter" flashes on the screen? Huh, definitely need to move on it! Tate Jeep in Frederick was the sweet one-off chance taken when my current unhappiness with closer dealer service centers is still not ameliorated. From initial drive in to final drive out, Tate's communications were frequent, timely, though a bit inexact in description.

Upon retrieval in expected fashion, the screen flash is granted no longer. yet me being a Jeep aficionado non-pareil proves no match in spot verbal-jousts with those CDJR corporates and reps who "know" Jeeps and their systems/mechanicals better than me. Stacie is service helpful from the get-go and took me the distance. Harley (ironic. she rides a Ninja 250, guys!) at the cashier's counter put the final stamp on my road check. [Both Jeep angels be blonde? Makes my day to greet even better! ] Luv my Jeep, and truly luv those who luv Jeeps, too. At Tate? The feelings of luv are mutual!

There is absolutely no better place for 5 Star Customer Service. This is my 2nd purchase from Tate and the service that they provided both times was Phenomenal. I was not just another number, not just another sale, Eddie absolutely went over and above to find me the perfect vehicle. He took the time to show me every detail and make sure I understood. Very upfront and honest business. I highly recommend Eddie if you are in the market for a new or used vehicle!

Yesterday I went to tate looking to purchase a used Ram 1500. After scanning the used lot I went In And talked with my soon to be sales consultant, Rick Moffett. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the trucks on the lot. From the test drive all the way to helping me set my phone up and showing me the controls, Rick was awesome! After a day of dealing with a very questionable dealer it was a relief to go somewhere that was pleasant to work with. Also they didn't try to jack the list price up because of the fact I wanted to pay cash for the truck! My experience at Tate was top notch and I highly recommend!

The manager here. I believe his name is Jim is very unprofessional. I had to take my car there 3 times for the same problem and he insults me.he tells me my new transmission they put in my car is still breaking in and that's why I have to pull over on the hi way when it stops working ans you tell me I know nothing about cars. Then after I tell him they are terrible and I have an investigation open he tells me to leave and never come back and has and attitude. Learn how to speak to humans and b2 professional. I told him I have the whole conversation recorded which I do and he gets up and walks away. Great job dodge.

I took my 2007 Chrysler Aspen in for an engine diagnostic. I bought this car from this dealership 15 years ago. There was a $145.00 charge for the diagnostic. The error code is P0750 (shift solenoid A malfunction). So the transmission goes in to 'safe' mode and sticks in second gear ostensibly to avoid damage. The initial feedback I got from the service department ( never get to talk to an actual technician) is that I might need to have the valve body and/or solenoids replaced.

Of course this is quite expensive. So I took it to a transmission specialist, who (for no charge) took out the valve body and the solenoids, tested the solenoids, and told me that the valve body was fine, and the solenoids tested for the proper resistance. But they are still 'sticking', or the error code is still there. So I called the dealer service department back and left a message to speak to an actual technician.

No call back. The dealer does not seem to know what the solution is. Replacing parts is nice, but does it solve the problem? Is the actual issue being properly diagnosed and explained to me? Not so far. I know it is an older car. I happen to like my car and would like to keep it a while longer. Yes, transmission fixes are not cheap, but I still don't have a clear answer from them.

Thank you to Kathryn for the great experience in buying my pre-owned Jeep. I honestly dread vehicle shopping but she made it super painless. She was helpful, knowledgeable and not pushy at all. We appreciate that she made it a very smooth process and highly recommended her!

Very easy process, Jason Liller answered all my questions about the truck and it's history. Rich in financing was great as well, he did all he could to get me the best numbers. I would recommend Tate to anyone looking for a vehicle in a zero pressure sales environment. Thanks again guys.

Took my 2010 Rubicon in to replace the clutch and throw out bearing. As recommended, they also replaced the fluids in the front, rear, transmission and transfer case. I had to take it back because of a noise coming from the clutch area, I was told I needed a new inner boot, $200! Went to have the oil changed at the Lube Center and was informed that none of other fluids had been replaced!

The noise is getting louder and now I have to get the fluids actually changed! Today I was looking under my Jeep and noticed two transmission bolts are missing! What ever you do don't bring your vehicle anywhere near this service center! After taking my Jeep to another dealer, I was informed that I would need to have my transmission rebuilt. Now I'm saving up for a $2000 bill to repair the terrible job Tate service did. And my transmission is leaking all over my driveway!

My service advisor, Stacie Silcott, was such a pleasure to work with. She provided great communication throughout the whole process of getting my warranty work done. She was honest with the time it would take to get parts and repair my car. She understood clearly what issues I was dealing with on my Jeep. Also, I chose this dealership based on their positive reviews on Google.

I have two dealerships that are closer to me that had bad service reviews. I'm glad I chose Tate Jeep Frederick. They have lived up to their positive reviews and then some. I will not hesitate to recommend others to this dealership for service. I will also tell them to ask for Stacie Silcott. She is an asset to the dealership.

Took jeep in for warranty repair. Took much longer than should've because it sat not being worked on most of the day of appointment. Then when finally got back next day the tech forgot tools in steering. Accidents happen but then they wanted us to drive it back with chance tool fell out and locked up steering. Service manager had the absolute worst customer service of anyone I have ever spoken with even threatening to call Chrysler and void my warranty if I didn't do what they wanted on my time right away because of their mistake. DO NOT go near this dealership. UPDATE got home and went over the front end and they never put the axle nut back on. They wanted me to drive it back like that.
