Best mechanic shop ever! I've been taking my cars and pick-ups to Sun Auto for over 20 years, and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Over the years I've taken 5-6 vehicles to them, and had great results with all of them. Sun Auto has done great and effective diagnostics and repairs, and I love the extra's that I can arrange with them for auto detailing or Aqua-Pel ( highly recommended!) Sun Auto has my vehicles ready when they say they will be ready, and have access for parts-hunting to get what is needed.

I trust them not to charge or, "fix" something that isn't necessary. Auto repair can be costly, so it's vital to me that I get my money's-worth, to prolong the vehicle life and safety at a fair price. Sun Auto has NEVER failed me! Thank-you for being so reliable, and I know I will be back over and over again! A special shout-out to, Josh and Brooke at the Coburg Rd shop. Their customer service, attitudes, and cheerfulness is just icing on the cake.

Love these guys. They were professional and friendly. The work was done in a timely manner. They promised my car back within a certain timeframe and they delivered. Called looking for a quote on rear end work for our truck. And was supposed to call the next day for a quote and never did.

Just about every time we've brought our car in for repair we've had to bring it back to have it fixed again. Last week we had both valve covers fixed for leaks just to have it start leaking immediately. We need to get it repaired, but are hesitant to take it back in. We recently had them replace an axle seal for a second time that they repaired a while ago (still under warranty).

We are also concerned that the rear main seal is leaking (which is under warranty now). We've been complaining about it since right after the original repair, but they keep telling us that there might be other leaks and "it's a big job". We're concerned that if the rear main seal leak isn't repaired before the warranty expires we'll be stuck. We're concerned that if we just call for the repair we'll get the same run around. Frankly we are tired of having to bring the car in for repairs, which means at least two trips (drop off and pick up) with two cars from up the river. Some time it takes more than 2 trips - One to take in for diagnosis and then again for repair. We're at a quandary as to what to do next.

Sun Auto has been professional and courteous. I've been to this service center twice in the last year and have been very pleased with the detailed level of inspection and excellent service. I appreciate that inspection and diagnosis includes photos to help me see what they are seeing. As someone who knows little about car maintenance I trust their expertise.

I had Sun Automotive check out a used car I had recently bought. I should have had them check it out first. Nice people. Honest.

During the diagnostic several items were found that will need attention. Josh was very patient in helping me to understand what was going with each item and to prioritize and come up with a plan. The Sun diagnostic service was done promptly with an honest assessment of the damaged engine and cooling system. They assisted our donation of the car to St. Vincents auto lot, a good cause.

They were recommended by a local dealership that was full. They also had a wait list but it was less than a week. They did a multi point inspection and a diagnostic check, gave me recommendations, and specified what was in the red, which I appreciated, as I couldn't do all services. As a military veteran, I appreciated the discount. They have a shuttle service that takes you home and brings you back.

The front desk employees definitely make a difference in the way customers feel about accepting their services or not. Thank you for your services to keep me and my family safe.

Dear Sun Automotive, Thank you for your next level service from start to finish. When my old Subaru had a dead battery the morning of my appointment to bring it in, I thought I was going to have to call a tow truck. Instead, Brooke and Elgin saved the day by coming over, jumping the battery, and driving my car back to their shop! I was over the moon.

Thank you, Brooke and Elgin! The next day, I received a text message from Josh at the front desk with a link to a web page detailing each issue with pictures and explanations. I felt like I had stepped into the future. After looking the report over, I felt comfortable and informed while talking with Josh about the different concerns that needed to be addressed.

Honest, helpful people that helped me breakdown the most important repairs needed first for my truck and my safety. Broke it up into 2 appointments a month apart. Josh the manager is really great and Jeff the mechanic did a wonderful job on the repairs needed. So glad I went to Sun Automotive. I highly recommend them!

After discovering that the fuel supply line had cracked and had gas squirting into the engine, Sun automotive was my first and only choice. They took my car in immediately and quickly diagnosed the problem and began work on obtaining the required parts. The next day the parts arrived and the work was done. I was told the mechanic stayed a little late to finish it.

They continued to communicate with me each step, made sure I got home that first day and offered a pick up if I needed it. Clean, complete and considerate. I will use them again if I, unfortunately, need to. Thank you for everything!

Don't waste your time.because they will certainly waste yours without apology. I made an appointment a week in advance. Dropped my car off before they were even open on the day of the appointment. At 230pm I hadn't heard a word. When I called they said they were behind and my car was next to be looked at. Still hadn't heard anything and called back at 515 (15 minutes before they closed).

Person on the phone sounded annoyed that I was calling back. Said they hadn't looked at it, but would look at it tomorrow. Can't exactly take their word for it when they already wasted a day without even apologizing or keeping me posted. Find an auto repair shop that actually cares about your time and concerns. These guys are rude and thoughtless.

We have been loyal customers to Sun Automotive for year's. They are always knowledgeable, courteous, and consistently on time. We recommend them to people all the time-a great business!

These folks are very busy, but thats what happens when you're this good. DO make an appointment and get your work done right the first time. Priced reasonably and, in my experience over the last 10 years or so, they have been totally honest. Just a nice little addition is that they vaccum you floors and give you a coupon for a free car wash.just because.

Love these guys! Can't say enough about their commitment to professionalism. I was new in town and unsure who to go to as I hate to see a mechanic without a personal reference. Thy 100% took care of my car and were flexible with scheduling and helping me with a loaner car for the day it was worked on. Cannot say enough!

This place has always given us great service at a fair price. I have had Toyotas and Hondas in there. They really seem to know their stuff and are honest and reasonably priced.

They've stolen car parts out of my vehicle, charged more than the agreed upon price, told me my vehicle was fixed, I came in, it was Still broke, so I had to walk all the way back home, Would not guarantee their work, Destroyed my Engine Block and Camshaft because they were full-throttling my racecar, with no regret, Bottomline: If you want your car Broken EVEN MORE, the Sun Auto is your Place. I will never go here again, and I warn you, to stay away. Customer Beware.

"Pre-Sale Used Car Inspection" Entire transaction was handled by Mike from the 1st phone call for the appointment to the final review of the inspection report after it was completed ~ in a 1 word summary PERFECT! Mike was very professional, wasn't hurried and took the time to explain the details. He talked to me like a fiend ort neighbor and regardless that the phone rang several different times he made sure I was the focus of his conversation, asking another employee to take the call(s) or allowed them to go to voice mail.

In this day and age one has trouble finding an auto repair shop that you can actually trust and will not rip you off just so they can sell you parts you may not need and satisfy their labor fee's - this was not one of those shops. I finally a repair shop who I trust will take care of my care honestly and fairly - like you'd finally found "your doctor" for the same reasons. I will be back and Sun Auto now has a regular customer

These guys are true professionals with excellent and humble customer service. They also go the extra mile to do a great job either in house or with calling around to find what you need.

My new best friends in the auto mechanics world, where you just never know who you can trust at any given time. They're easy to talk to and personable on top of having skilled mechanics on board. That's a huge plus for someone who isn't too great at going into a new place. I always feel frustrated when something goes wrong with a car, it's upsetting since we depend on our vehicles so much but also you get those jerks who talk down to you or rush you through telling them what the problem is. Sun Automotive was just fantastic to work with and made what usually would reduce me to tears into an experience that I want to sing their praises for all over the place.

They do what they say they will, no lies or gouging! In auto repair that makes them great, just be prepared to spend what it takes to get it fixed right,

This is a first! I just picked up my car from Sun Automotive, the hose for the power steering was busted. I was quoted a price over the phone yesterday and when I went to pick it up it was $75 cheaper. When I commented I was told they were able to find the part cheaper and they passed that saving on to me! Thank you! I will be singing your praises to anyone who will listen and be back for additional services.

I went in to get my first interior detail. I think they did a good job, and they also dressed my tires as well. couldn't tell if they threw in a car wash, since it was raining. I would give them a grade of A-. It isn't a sure thing that i would go back for my other car, i'm still debating, but i am happy with the one i got. it was almost everything i hoped it would be. The two people i interacted with, on the phone and when i dropped off my car, were courteous and would get top score.
