Friendly service at the front desk, they were good at communicating and fairly quick with completing service. The waiting area was realistically clean and a pleasant place to wait. They complete state inspections at this location. If you're going to get repairs done here be sure to schedule an appointment ahead of time.

This is an excellent place to have your car serviced. I have been here since my car warranty expired, and I've been in great hands. The staff, their service, and the quality of work is definitely dependable and always pleasant. Nick is the owner and he is very patient with explaining things so that you understand. He plans with you so that nothing ever pops up.

His wife Flo is also amazing because she makes sure you're comfortable and happy while you are awaiting service. They have kept a great crew that carries out the same service from Chad, to DJ, to Melissa. I am very blessed to have discovered this place years ago!

My card had multiple problems. The belt tensioner locked up and needed to be replaced. Hard to know what caused what issue, but the alternator was failing as well. You can see metal filings in the engine. Add on this that I also sprung a coolant leak somewhere in the process. Sugar Creek Auto worked me last minute and was able to complete the repairs within one day.

What impressed me was how they communicated the status of my vehicle. I received a text msg with a link that identified all the problems. In each case, there was a recommendation and a picture. The pic was very helpful. The owner then followed up with a phone call to explain. As there were multiple issues, I was able to text the owner throughout the process so we can discuss how to move forward. Very easy process. In the end, my car works great. I also seem to have a little extra power in the engine.

I've been using Sugar Creek Auto for many years on my two cars. Nick and Flo are a delight to do business with. They are always friendly and take the time to explain the recommended work to be done. I trust them to do the job right at a fair price. I wouldn't think of taking my cars elsewhere.

I own a Volkswagen and very picky about who works on my car. I am very satisfied about the service I received. They send photos from the inspection, so you know what they're talking about. They give you recommendations for repairs on the report. I received my car back in a timely manner. Overall I am very pleased and HIGHLY recommend.

While getting my oil changed in early July by a different auto shop, a variety of vehicle maintenance issues were flagged. Rather than just going back to that same place, I figured while I was out of town later that month, I would leave the car with a friend - Mr. Edwin Lazo over at Sugar Creek Auto - to get their professional opinion. Whenever their multi-point inspection was finished, I received a link via text with a tour of my vehicle and their findings! Using an easy to interpret traffic light color-coded key, I was able to view photos of the car parts that were flagged.

Not only did they show me those photos, but it went on to explain the importance and function of the part itself, what is at risk whenever the part is malfunctioning or not performing at its best - all in simple little video snippets that would make a toddler understand! The problem I ran into was now having two different inspections with different maintenance suggestions and not knowing which report to rely upon.

Not to keep me confused for long, Edwin was available to help sort out those differences both over the phone and via text (whichever one I was best accessible with at the moment), as well as help echo the prioritization of the suggested repairs. Putting my trust into the hands of Sugar Creek Auto, I decided to have them hold onto my car and make the repairs as suggested.

Despite needing a few parts to ship in from out of state to make the repairs, to my surprise, they loaned me a vehicle to use while my car was in the shop - no additional fee! When my vehicle was ready for pickup - again with the surprises - they had it washed and polished, too! Through their clear communication and problem solving processes, as well as their generosity shown for an average customer like myself, to say that I'm grateful for them taking care of me in full is an understatement. Hands down best service and quality. I have been looking for a place like Sugar Creek Auto for some time now and they have got a new client for life. Flo and Nick are exceptionally good when it comes to CS and repairs. I brought my truck in with a damaged rear differential and transmission that would hardly drive on my 2017 F150 4x4 V8. The team made it happen and the truck drives like new. Much thanks to you guys over there!

I've been a customer of Sugar Creek Auto for the lifetime of my car. The guys there have always taken care of my every need for a reasonable price, and this time was no different. I usually deal with Nick, but this time Edwin took care of everything. He was able to get my car towed to the shop and started up no problem, and even replaced my battery under warranty.

He was also kind enough to break in the battery and do my state inspection that was due that week. The whole thing only cost me $200-much less than I had anticipated. Upon picking up my car, he was able to give me good advice on getting the most from my aging vehicle and some tips on the new car I was planning on replacing it with. All in all, it was a great experience and in line with every other experience I have had there over the years. Kudos to Edwin this time around!

I always go to Sugar Creek Auto for my auto repair needs. They have the best waiting area with small convenience store and also they are so flexible. They are always happy to give me a ride to work. I never feel like they are overselling me on repairs, but they are always honest. They recently fixed my wife's Yukon and it is driving more smoothly than ever.

I have owned cars and trucks for over 40 years, so I have had over 40 years of experience dealing with auto repair shops, both dealer and stand-alone. For the most part, I have found them to be unreliable money-grubbers. I can thankfully say that Sugar Creek Auto is the complete antithesis of such classification. I am in the process of getting the truck in the attached photo back onto the road as a daily driver, so workmanship, responsibility, honesty, and cost are very important to me.

I have found Nick Dixon and his crew to be the finest examples of all of these characteristics; I really do not think that their commitment to these characteristics can be matched in the local auto maintenance market. If you are looking for a shop to do work, or even if you are not but are at all curious to know how the great ones approach their work, you owe yourself and your finances a trip to Sugar Creek Auto. With the way that they currently operate I believe that it will not be possible for you to come away disappointed by your experience.

We use Sugar Creek Auto for repairs for the transportation bus at my senior community. After several pleasant conversations with the technicians here, I decided to take my car to them for my inspection and oil change and they did not disappoint! They squeezed me in last minute on a Saturday which means a lot to me since I never know what my work schedule will be.

They got me in and out in an hour and also made some recommendations. Unlike other shops, the technician at Sugar Creek Auto showed me exactly why he was making the recommendations and I knew it was something that needed to be done and not just a way for him to increase my bill. I own a business and we bring all of our service vehicles here. They have consistently taken great care of us by giving us detailed reports of any issues found with the vehicles and let us know what is absolutely necessary vs. what can wait until the next service. They are never pushy and they do great quality work. I would highly recommend Sugar Creek Auto to anyone looking for an honest repair shop that does the job right.

I have taken several cars here for a variety of reasons, and recommended many friends to come here. Although they have had news I didn't want to hear, they have been honest, timely and explained the process of each repair as fully as possible. Glad we have a mechanic nearby we can trust. I appreciated the text link I received during the repairs that showed the pictures of the parts that were in poor condition. At my request, Chad took the time to let me know which items were of urgent need of repair and which repair concerns could be delayed if needed. This store is unfair i'm a girl and had a simple nail in my tire they refused to help me. I had this same problem before another store fixed it with no hesitation. One of the workers didn't want to fix it instead tried to offer me to buy a new tire. Because of this I was stranded on the road and a guy who was a mechanic who helped me said they could have fixed this issue. Ladies please don't come to this store. Their employees are truly insensitive.

REAL RATING - PLEASE READ - Not an honorable shop - beware! Other posts must be from the owner! Okay, I have a nice, will kept Pontiac G8. I went here to get my car inspected. The shop manager, Chad, came out to speak with me upon competition of the inspection - - - with a quote for new tires. He handed me the unsolicited quote and explained that I would need my tires replaced soon.

The quoted "out the door" price was reasonable (they included a swap out the best used tire for the spare tire) - and I was aware the tires were needing to be replaced, so I made an appointment. On the day of the appointment, I again reminded the service tech to attend to the spare tire. They mounted and balanced the four tires and proceeded to give me the invoice.which was $17.11 more than what was originally quoted.

They also failed to swap the tire with the spare. I mentioned these facts to Chad and he took my car in the back to get the spare swapped (he also took my money). They used the worst of the tires for the spare (of course, they sell the used tires to the secondary market). When I called Chad on this he took me to the back and showed me the tire they removed from the spare rim and he showed me the other tires they removed.

This act pissed him off. I left the shop and went home to collect the original written quote (I should have taken it with me to the shop). I also checked the pressure in the tires, which were EXTREMELY over pressure - 50 psi. I returned back to the shop where the OWNER greeted me in the driveway. I explained the tires were over-inflated and that I was over charged.

He gave me all sorts of excuses why the bill was $17.11 more than the quote, claimed that I was unreasonable. He was quite aggressive and immature with his tone. He ultimately agreed to refund me the money (claiming that I was "pulling one over on him") and adjust the pressure in my tires. He gave me the cash, fixed my tire pressure issue, then told me to never return to his business again.

I don't like getting one price and then charged another. Nice way to do business? BTW, Chad stayed inside during the conversation because, and I quote from the owner, "he is to pissed to deal with you." Seriously, how does this place stay in business? Later I noticed that I also had one scared rim from the amateur instillation of the tires. Wish I would have taken a picture of all the rims before the instillation. Typical auto shop BS. Stay away, you have been warned!

I have always found this place to be an honest and trustworthy business that provides great service. The manager Nick is personable and friendly and takes good care of his customers. If you have an auto problem take it to Sugar Creek Auto and get an honest evaluation of what needs to be done to fix it. This is my go to auto repair shop.

It's not often that I write a 5-star review but, it's also not often that I am presented with great service from start to finish. I had my car's tires replaced today and the technician advised me to get an alignment on the vehicle. Yikes, I hadn't had one since I bought the car and it had been forever since I had obtained one on my previous vehicle. So, I was expected a huge hit in the wallet. So, of course, I turned to Yelp to find a technician in the area.

I used the "Request a Quote" function and then I came upon Sugar Creek Auto. The owner answered me fairly quickly.2 minutes quick. OK. 2 points for SCA. Although, I sent messages to several people, this was the best quote at $49.95. Cha-ching, the price was right! Within 30 minutes, I had a scheduled appointment with the owner, through the app. Anyone who knows me knows, I love an appointment.

I don't waste your time, you don't waste mine. Great. Scheduling.2 more points. I arrived, I was greeted by an awesome front desk person and I was checked-in and the car was pulled back in about 10 minutes. Mind you, I'm still looking for the other shoe to drop because this is awesome so far. After the car was pulled back, the owner came out to thank me for booking the appointment and we had a little small talk. 2 more points.

About 40 minutes after the car was pulled back, I was pulled aside for the consultation and I had a question. What better place to answer the question, than the service bay. I was invited to take a look at the diagnostic machine and the front desk person (whose name escapes me.sorry) gave me a full explanation of particulars of an alignment job. When we came back in, he even offered to fill my Yeti with water.

All the while, I'm thinking that I have fallen into a black hole of good service and attentiveness. Once the car was done, I paid the bill and I was invited to grab a snack on the way out the door. I was thanked for coming and I left. These kinds of experiences are few and far between, I had to share. If you want to have the same experience, stop by Sugar Creek Auto and give them a chance to help you with your auto repair needs.

I have been bringing my vehicles to them for well over 10 years. Highly recommend. Honest people doing great work in a state of the art building. Fair pricing. There is a comfortable waiting area with a few tv's and a work station. There are also snacks and drinks if you are so inclined.

My family and I just moved to this area and we needed an inspection and an oil change. We usually go to our dealership and have it done there, but it was just convenient to come to this auto shop since it is only 5 minutes away. We started to come here for routine oil change and yearly inspections now! The owners, Nick & Flo, are very helpful, knowledgeable and honest!

My mother bought a car off of Craigslist and it had some issues with the brake system and the alignment. Nick and his staff helped us through the whole process from showing us the car parts, explaining in layman's terms for me to understand and on top of that, the repairs were done in a timely manner. We were so happy that they worked us in right before the holidays and the prices were reasonable. I definitely recommend this shop to anyone and will definitely come back for all future car repairs! I am so happy that we found an honest and competent mechanic shop!

I've been coming here for about six years and will continue to do business with Sugar Creek Auto. They are honest and reasonable with prices, which is priceless this day and age. One of the best things about them is the fact they schedule appointments to make sure you are not waiting long. I always recommend this business to my friends.

There was a problem with my brake system. They fixed it for $500 and it broke again after 3 months and they said something else was wrong. Total price will be over $1000. I dropped my car at dealer and got it fixed for $298. This place just took your darn money without fixing a darn thing and actually make things worst. DO NOT come here.

Took my car in for an oil change and asked them to also look at the AC as it was not cooling. After several hours the mechanic called to let me know that I would need to replace the entire system at a cost of over $2500. I declined the work and took my car to the dealer for further review. Within the hour the dealer called back to let me know it only needed to be charged with freon at a charge of $150. AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!

Used them again and this time around it seemed more reasonable. Im all for giving a second chance. I think last time a different person was working there. The manager was pleasant and fair and we do trust the work performed. Based on my last experience, will use them again.

Originally there was a difference in the opinion of the work that was needed on my car. we were able to come to a agreement and resolve the problem. I now have my car running without any problems. My Thanks to Brad for getting me back on the road and keeping his word.

I only go there to get my oil changed, but they are always fast and friendly. Plus they are right across the street from me, and are fairly priced. The only downside is sometimes the people there close the oil and lube station early, so you usually need to get there before 4pm to get your oil changed when in doubt.

This is a terrible service station. First of all the people who work there are very rude. I had brought in my car for alignment. They checked it out and said they couldn't align it because the tire rod ends needed to b replaced. They then gave me a quote for $500+ to replace them. so i took my car ordered tire rod ends from toyota and got it replaced elsewhere all for under 100 dollars.

But i still needed alignment. At this point i shud have saved my time and gone elsewhere for alignment but decided to give them another chance. I took my car in again and they checked it out and said they could not do the alignment. When i asked why, they said it was too much work. TOO MUCH WORK? bunch of lazy bums. I took my car to bissonet and got my wheels aligned for $20 cheaper and much better service. This service station SUCKS!

I've been getting my vehicle here for a few years, and never had problems. They were always polite, helpful and timely in the past. My entire family brings all their automotive needs here. I walked in at 5 minutes after 5:30 pm and was denied an oil change by a less than polite employee. She said I would have to come back the next day. On the door and website, it's advertises closing at 6 pm.

Change your advertising or stick to your 6 pm closing time. I'm not going to go out of my way to drive over there again tomorrow or ever again if this is what I am to expect. I'd rather go somewhere closer and more convenient to my work or home.
