The guys here are great! Very honest about what it's going to take to get my clutch fixed and what things they might run into in the process. They gave me a free loaner and when I picked it up my shifter was a little harder to move, they took it back in a made sure it was greased properly. I'll definitely be coming back. I've been buying tires and having other work done here for a few years. I've always felt they are honest and prices are fair. They are great with Subarus, but I will be bringing my Honda here as well.

We used to take our Mazda to the garage at the dealership where we got it, which sucked. Going to Pacific Rim has been worlds better - efficient and friendly.

This is my first dealing wiht Pacific Rim Auto PRA. I must say that the experience was flawless from start to finish. They had the lowest price of 4 estimate;s I sought for work on my VW CC. ' The appointment was set up online with prompt replies from PRA. There was about a week wait for the appt: about average. The work was completed promptly and after a few weeks driving, I can say it was done correctly.

They even accomodated some special requests. Great service. Their front man Jeremy was atttentive, timely, and friendly. Reflects the rest of the organization no doubt. I usually do my own auto worrk, but now have a shop In which I have confidence.

Brake and rotor replacement was done late 2021. Quick and easy scheduling. Good value. Had a clunking noise for years that other shops could not diagnose. The crew at Pacific Rim solved it. They know Subarus. Also, Somehow the sunglass holder was broken during service. Probably the mechanic was diagnosing the sound and it was pushed and broken. Bad luck. They ordered a replacement part and fixed it without hesitation. I'll go back here for future service. Thanks Jeremy!

Took my Lexus here after being fed up with the low quality and expensive service at the Bellevue dealership. Saved over a grand, plus they spotted additional problems with my brakes the dealership missed. Great people here. I don't care how far I have to drive, I will be taking my car here from now on. Brake and rotor replacement was easy to schedule and done quickly. The rate was reasonable & a good value for quality parts. I had a clunk noise that other shops could not diagnose. They found and fixed the issue. As part of diagnosing the noise someone opened a sunglasses compartment and it broke during the service. They didn't hesitate to order the part and fix the issue for free. Communication was excellent. Highly recommend this business and will do all my future service with them. Great service, fast turnaround. They offer a loaner car if needed. The office is quick and responsive as well. They don't price gouge. They do usually let me know other upcoming repairs to be aware of.

We recently moved from Belltown to Wallingford. With every move, comes the added responsibility (and often headache) of finding new businesses that I can rely on and keep going back to. So, I was on the look out for a new auto service and found Pacific Rim. I was really hoping this to work out, since the place would be within walking distance from home.

I was doing a regular scheduled service -- oil change, tire rotation, etc. Dropped off the car in the morning and picked up in the evening (after work). The folks even cleaned the car which was an added bonus! Had a pleasant experience, and definitely going back for all my auto needs.

After having a VSC and CEL pop up on my dash, I did some research on local Seattle import shops and came across Pacific Rim. The sales rep Jay and the entire team at Pacific Rim were a pleasure to work with. They are an honest, knowledgeable, and speedy shop that got my old Lexus fixed up and running after discovering a cracked gas tank. Although I didn't need it, Jay was kind enough to lend me a loaner vehicle while mine was being repaired. They even washed my car while they had it in their possession. I hope to not have a vehicle repair anytime soon, but I know I will be bringing it back here!

First time visiting the place, and was not disappointed. My Mazda had suffered an engine mount failure, with the engine dropping a few inches in one direction and causing residual damage. I got a price quote from my dealership, which was insanely high (and extremely psuhy for getting me to buy a new car with $0 trade-in value). After contacting a few on Yelp in distress, Jeremy from Pacific Rim Automotive was the most helpful.

He was able to leverage the previous price quote (apparently the issue was quite common with Mazdas), and was able to help get my car fixed in only a few business days at about half the cost! I even got a loaner car while my car was in the shop! Needless to say, I am very much satisfied with this service. Thank you Jeremy and team for your help!

I would not recommend this company to work on any of my vehicles. I stated that all I needed was a oil change and they quoted me over $200 for a bunch of other services I did not ask for, one of them being a tire rotation which you can not perform on a C300.

All I can say is believe all the 5 star reviews. This shop is one of the most professional and accommodating shops I've had the pleasure of doing business with. After driving across country from Florida my Wrx needed a bit of TLC and pacific rim was quick to get me in and even provided me with loaner while they worked on mine. Second time around the clutch went out and they squeezed me in that week then completed the job in less then a day. All of the staff especially Jay are easy to talk to and lay out everything straight forward. I would highly recommend and definitely will do business with them again.

I've been bringing my 1995 Acura Legend to these guys for years, and am only stopping because I am moving out of the state! They have great communication and I feel I have more knowledge about my car every time I bring it in. I am sad to have to find a new go-to shop after I move. Thank you all for your help!

Pacific Rim was great. I brought in my 2011 BMW 328i xDrive and they performed several services on it. All of the services seemed to have been done correctly and my car drives much better now.( update, after a month while my brakes do feel better than before in terms of reduced vibration on deceleration, there is a notable softness at the top of the pedal which was previously very stiff and responsive, I will contact the shop and see if they will fix this as I find it kind of annoying and is definitely a decrease in the overall braking force I feel that I can apply) I only have 2 small complaints, one, and I understand this, as my father owned a mechanic shop, they would not allow me to bring in an outside part even though I expressed that I would be willing to pay a charge for the part, this applied to both asking about BMW Genuine and an aftermarket upgrade. Secondly, I had juuuuuust washed my car and got it back dirtier than I had received it.

There was a copious amount of some sort of spray chemical all over the top of my car from where they had installed a trim piece, granted I am very thankful for them providing this service even though it is not one they typically provide, I would have greatly appreciated getting my car back clean after spending nearly $3500. Overall good job though guys, ill be back in the future!

Have been bringing my middle aged Subaru here for the last 4 years or so. The team is knowledgeable, friendly, and provide excellent service. I've never felt pressured or pushed into getting unnecessary work done. Loaner cars are available free of charge if you need one, and typically the turnaround is very quick (as long as parts are in stock, it's been same day drop-off/pick-up - and they're very communicative if that might not be the case). There's a one year warranty on any work they've done, but I've never had to bring my car back to be re-fixed after it's been worked on.

First time at Pacific Rim. I brought our 2008 Subaru in for an oil change. Because of mileage (106K) we discussed what other work should be looked at. I decided to come back the next day with my service records and we went over the items. I should have realized but it was legitimately time for the timing belt to be changed. I asked about the other components that are exposed (water pump, tensioner, bearings, thermostat) and he said, that everything gets replaced which is what I wanted. (Note: Just getting in to do the timing belt is expensive. Getting all these done now is more cost effective than suffering a failure and doing them serially.) The car was left, but while doing the work they found that the spark plug seals were leaking and the control arm bushings also needed replacement.

This was all legitimate given the age and mileage. We got the car back the next day, and all has been great. Jay was our Service Advisor and I found him to be very professional. I am also very pleased with the work and I will be using Pacific Rim as we go forward. Very Highly Recommended.

This place is super legit! I went to another local mechanic to replace my clutch, they put in wrong clutch. After replacing the clutch the 3rd time they really ruined my truck. I really wish I new about Pacific Rim. They new exactly what to do and put in the right clutch, now it runs smooth! I have to say the employees at pacific rim are super knowledgeable an very professional. These amazing mechanics are now my go to main mechanic. I've never had an issue with them unlike other mechanics in the area. Thank you for all you do Pacific Rim!

I just had my Honda Element's horn and door locks fixed, as well as a wheel realignment, At Pac Rim. Very friendly, got my car in quickly, had it ready the next day (plus cleaned and vacuumed!), and the cost came in under estimate. I'll be back!

This shop is close to where I live, so I called to get an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. Rather than just accommodating my request, the consultant said that I needed to make a "5K first- time" customer appointment for $179. On top of that, they charge me an additional $31 to repair a leaking tire that had a nail in it. In a previous review on Yelp, I saw that they fixed someone else's tire for free!

I booked the service and as soon as they had my car on the rack, the consultant called me with an $850 estimate! He advised me that I needed several of my fluids changed and both air filters. Since the car is a certified, used car from Honda, which I purchased 10,000 miles ago, I told him that I wanted to call the dealership first, and Honda service advised me that per the maintenance schedule for my vehicle, NONE of those services (fluid changes &/or filters) were needed at this time. I'm very disappointed in this shop and their attempt to perform unnecessary services to my vehicle. Additionally, One of the two services I had requested was tire rotation, which would also include checking the air pressure on my tires. After I got home I checked my in vehicle display, see the enclosed picture, my four tires are not reading the same pressure. Again, very disappointed in this shop.

Great experience from start to finish. Very organized, quick, and friendly service. I got some major repairs done on my Subaru, so they had my car for several days. They offered a great loaner car for me to use for the duration of the repair. At drop-off, I was in and out in four minutes. The loaner car paperwork was ready to go, and the car was parked right outside at the curb so I could be on my way quickly.

They called me a few hours later to give me a rundown on all the repairs, and their pricing beat out the quotes I received from the dealership. Pick-up and payment was just as smooth and easy. They even washed my car, so it's looking real nice right now and driving even better. Would definitely recommend, and I will definitely be back. Thank you!

Updated review: 3 years after they put in a replacement radiator and starter in my car, it is still going strong! And it just reached 200k miles, with lots of life left in it! The replacement parts are of great quality and held up over time. They also worked on my previous car, which reached 260k miles when it finally gave up. It's a shame that I had moved to the Eastside, and started doing maitenance and minor repairs myself now. I hope they're doing well in this crazy year.

I TOLD MY DAD, MY BEST FRIEND, AND MY GRANDMA ABOUT PACIFIC RIM AUTO! I cannot say enough about the amazing service I received from everyone I interacted with at Pacific Rim. These guys saved me over 500 dollars. Fast, friendly, and honest service. I brought my car to another shop in Seattle to have my rear brake pads and rotors replaced, this shop told me my brake master cylinder also needed to be replaced.

Before they started work, I called around and asked for quotes on the brake master cylinder. John called me and we discussed what the other shop wanted to do. He said for my particular make and model a new brake master cylinder seemed very unlikely, and he wanted to take a look at my car. Boy was I lucky he did! I towed my car over to Pacific Rim and he called that same day to tell me they had found the problem and it was only a caliper pin.

They replaced everything that SAME day, and Jeremy even offered to stay late so I could pick up my car after work. I even asked John if he thought my front break pads needed to be replaced, and instead of just making more money off of me, he said he thought they had about 2 years left on them. I will definitely be back. I'm not from Seattle, and it can be so tough to find a great car mechanic who you can trust. If you are having car trouble head over to pacific rim auto, you will be happy you did!

Friendly staff with timely and transparent communication. They gave me a quote indicating cost of parts and labor prior to servicing my vehicle and the quote did not change after the repair. They fixed my car within the timeframe I had been told. I asked when I could bring my car in for an assessment prior to a road trip and was told that they did a full assessment of my vehicle while fixing the problem I came in for. I would absolutely take my car here again.

WOW! I can't say enough about Jeremy and the Pacific Rim Automotive team. He is the NICEST guy, honest, communicative and always fast to respond. He and his team worked with me to get my 2010 Subaru Outback back up and running smoothly again by thoroughly explaining to me what absolutely needed to be done, offering me a price break (when all of this happened right when our country is being hit with a pandemic) and worked me with payment options.

These guys are wonderful. Got me in quickly and did the work -- a pretty major job, and bigger than I or they had expected -- in just one day. They explained the work to me patiently when I asked multiple times, and my car is running like a dream after making some pretty horrifying noises before. I even double-checked with another few places on prices for the same work and AutoRim was more reasonable, at least for what I needed done.

I had a satisfactory time getting my car repaired by Pacific Rim Automotive. I believe Jeremy was the person who handled my car. I requested information regarding the approximate cost for repairing the heater in my car. Their response was detailed. Though the final cost ended up being on the high end of the range, I am overall satisfied with the service.

They reminded me of other routine maintenance that I needed and I went for it because I had been putting that off. I received a loaner car for the day. They also knocked off some $ because they were late in giving me my car back. My heater still works great and car runs smoothly. :

Dependable and trustable. I'm not too familiar with cars and I always have a bunch of questions for them or primarily, Jay - our mechanic. Responses and costs have always been transparent and they're pretty patient with my concerns given the age and cost to maintain the car. The car had 2 big fixes last year and since then it's been running good, they're also pretty on point with letting you know when a specific part of the car needs fixing anytime soon. Car's always given a good wash before pick up, and loaner cars are a plus too!

I called them this morning and they were really nice and helpful over the phone. When this snow storm is over I'm gonna be visiting them and will update my review then! So far I highly recommend them.
