Stephen's Auto Body & Towing has been doing business in the City of Melrose since 1984. We have been located at 140 Tremont St. since 1994, and thanks to our focus on quality, efficiency, and great prices have been growing ever since! We are located just outside Melrose center opposite the Melrose High School athletic facility.
As a car collision repair facility we work closely with all insurance companies. It has been our experience that we can agree with a great deal of success to repair all vehicles with the insurance co. Our prices are based on the figures set forth by both the auto body repair industry and the insurance industry.
In the state of Massachusetts, you the consumer are entitled to select the auto body repair facility of your choice regardless of what your insurance company recommends. Stephen's Auto Body accepts all insurance company estimates! Our specialists also often write estimates for insurance companies. When any additional work is needed, we inform the insurance company immediately, getting same day or next day approval, thereby keeping delays to a minimum.Need more information? If you are the claimant, you are entitled to a rental car during the time your car is being repaired (up to 30 days). Stephen's Auto Body has rental cars on the premise. If you do need a rental, please contact us to make sure we can accommodate you and your needs before you arrive. We also have an Enterprise office at our shop premises.

Ganna start with. I understand how long it'll take to get parts so time isn't the issue. The problem is the quality of work. And the attitude of Scott. They had my wife's car 1 month 3 weeks. The quality of the paint job is terrible. They stole from me. They do not pay attention to what there doing. They tried to give my wife her suv back half done saying it only needed 1 thing when infact I counted 10 things wrong. You bring your car to a body shop for them to return it to before accident condition. They did not do that They put minimum effort required. Would not recommend

Stephen's Auto Body was absolutely amazing! Kaylan was super helpful and was very communicative with everything! I had to get a mirror fixed and I was able to pick up the car the same day I dropped it off, efficient and well done service! They even cleaned the outside and detailed the inside of the car, very appreciative for their service and will be recommending their services to friends and family!

This is the second time I have used Stephens Auto Body, another great job! My 2020 Honda Ridgeline got hit by a moving truck. Kaylan and Scott were on the ball with communication and the body work was top notch. My truck looks new again. Despite Covid and supply issues the crew got my truck repaired on time. Stephen's Auto Body was amazing! Everyone there was incredibly kind and courteous. We needed a rental car while our car was being repaired, and having an Enterprise car rental on site was really convenient. They did an absolutely beautiful job on our car and I appreciated getting the regular updates via text. When we picked up our car, it looked brand new - they had even cleaned out and did some detailing on the interior which was a really nice touch. We would highly recommend to any of our friends in need of auto body work!

I'm very happy with my overall experience at Stephen's Autobody. The door to my vehicle had a piece of trim break off and Scott and the team were able to fix it quickly and cost-effectively. I really appreciate the thoughtful customer service and effort to repair my door promptly and affordably, without ordering an expensive replacement part. I gave them a three. Because lack of customer communication. They sent me an update saying my vehicle is being looked at. Later on while a week later they sent me another update said that my vehicle be read between this date and this date. But no one never told me was being done to my vehicle. It made me feel as though nobody care about my opinion. Like I didn't have a voice about what happened to my vehicle

10/10 service! The shop contacted me through my insurance and worked with me to get my car in, in a timely manor and my schedule. They worked with the rental company to provided me with a car (if needed). I brought my car in after a shopping cart scratched the drivers door. Scott came out to look at the damage and he had his crew buff it out and fix it within 15 mins of me pulling in. He saved me from having to leave my car overnight/for a few days and an insurance claim. Stand up guy- hard working team- and reliable. Thank you!
