Ok, maybe 4 1/2 stars. Very satisfied. Unusually ( nowadays ) friendly and helpful staff. A pleasure doing business there. The finished work makes the car look like new after having been rear ended by a van. Tiny issues: constant contact was a bit weak, scheduling could have been a little tighter/shorter.the bumper cover is strong by 1/8 inch at one end. New to the area, I expect to be going back, by accident, in the future.

They were considerate and kind, even when I had a complicated, multi-claim situation. My car looks perfect, and I felt respected the whole time (not always the case when you're young and female). They were clear and communicative, turning around estimates within a couple hours. Could not recommend highly enough!

I had a multi-claim situation (was rear ended a second time before my scheduled drop off), and they were great about it, working with my insurance agent to figure it out. They were kind and clear, and let me know I needed a new battery, but that I should go elsewhere because they wouldn't be able to meet the rates. My car looks brand new! Came to Sparkle to replace my bumper after someone scraped my car while it was parked. The staff were very friendly and informative. My initial visit to them was for an estimate which the emailed me that very same day. From there scheduled a time to drop off the car. Their estimation was good, it took them the amount of time expected and price did not go over. I am also very happy with the results. Included before and after photos. I would come again if I need to in the future.

I live in Maryland and my sister goes to school here in UW. She had rear ended someone and her front license tag was off the front fender. Passing by Sparkle Autobody, I ask for assistance to screw the tag back up. I walked inside the office and met Mr. Eric Northrop. He was very helpful and left all he was doing and fixed it back up for me. That's going way and beyond for me.

The fact that, I was considered though I was not for any bodywork or mechanical. This shop is definitely on my radar and earned my respect with honest dealing. They value service and being helpful. Thank you Mr. Eric!

Had some body damage on the left side of my vehicle, and Brian was able to help me out in every way possible to make sure it could be fixed. Fantastic service, and it came out looking better than it did when it was bought. They do a marvelous job and I seriously suggest that if you need auto body work, come here and don't bother looking for another option.

My license plate holder was broken and I lost it in transit. I was quite uncomfortable driving around without a plate. I called Sparkle and they nicely invited me in to take a look at the issue. They were able to order me a replacement holder and set up my replacement plates without hassle. I was extremely impressed by the professionalism, top notch customer service, amazing quality of work, and ease of working with this company. I have some body work that I'd like to take care of and I absolutely plan on working with Sparkle again on this.

I had to have a hit and run dent fixed on my door including paint job. My car had special protective stickers around the edge and door handles, as well as a paint with sparkle. After the service, I could not even tell! The work was flawless and they went out of their way to match the protective stickers. Everyone at sparkle was incredibly friendly and timely, and had no issues at all with my claim.

Little mishap at the bank drive thru with a yellow concrete pole last week. Good news! The pole was okay. LOL! I was very upset about it. I had never done this before. But, not to worry! I called Eric at Sparkle Auto Body, 1 Sparkle Ct. (off East Washington Avenue) here in Madison. Eric reassured me everything would be okay and he and his crew took such great care of me.

I came to Sparkle Auto Body very nervous and with a giant scratch on my car. It was clear I was out of my comfort zone, but upon walking in, the staff there was very friendly right off the bat. Eric came out and saw the mark and could immediately tell it wasnt even a scratch and just needed some solvent to remove. He so kindly took some time and just wiped off the marks with the special solution for no charge! Such a kind and honest man! If I ever need any work done on my car (god forbid), I'm definitely coming back to Sparkle!

I brought my car in for an estimate, as it appeared that the paint had been damaged after a shopping cart ran into my car. It turned out that the marks were actually from transfer onto the car, so the only repairs needed were polishing the affected area, which Brian very kindly did free of charge. I really appreciated his honest, immediate, and friendly customer service, and especially that he didn't make me feel stupid - which was more than I deserved in this scenario. I will definitely return to Sparkle for any auto body needs I have in the future.

After asking around for recommendations for a body shop after my car was in an accident, this place was highly recommended. After my experience with them I can see why. Eric was great through the whole process, including working with and talking to my insurance. They were always one step ahead of the insurance company and always had answers and advice to the questions I had. I would highly recommend them and should I ever need work done on a vehicle again I'll definitely be going to them!

They fixed two of my vehicles in the last year. Wow what great work. Professional, easy to work with and fair. I used them on a recommendation from a co-worker. Im glad I did. Nice job!

I've used other auto body shops in Madison and Sparkle is now the only my place I will take my vehicle if it needs body work done because I had such a great experience. They really went above and beyond! I stopped by for an estimate, Jill took some photos and emailed an estimate within a few hours. Work was completed as scheduled and my car looked amazing when I picked it up. I was pleasantly surprised that they cleaned the inside of my car, too! I felt like I was picking up a brand new car!

I am furious with Sparkle Auto Body. I got an estimate. I thought it was completely out of line. I decided to get a second estimate from another body shop. Meanwhile, Sparkle contacted the insurance company for the claim and told them I wouldn't come in, so the company issued a check to me based on Sparkle's estimate. I'll admit there was a delay.

I use my car for rideshare driving, and I couldn't afford days off the road. I explained this to them. I had not turned them down. Why did Sparkle contact the insurance company if I had not authorized the work? Why did they assume I wouldn't use them when I never said so? Summary: unreasonable estimate, poor (an understatement) communication making assumptions rather than listening to the customer, more concerned with pleasing the insurance company than the customer.

Jill was extremely knowledgeable and made us feel at ease after our car was rear ended. She explained what she was doing and why during the estimate process. Afterward, when we had questions, she was very responsive and friendly during each interaction! She definitely made the incident much more pleasant! I would highly recommend them!

Tried charging me 3k for a dent. no thanks. It's not that serious I'll be better off doin it myself

I was involved in a minor side-swiping accident, and my insurer recommended a number of body shops in the event that I wanted to repair the damage to my car's front passenger fender (mostly paint scratches and scuffs, with some slight bending in the fender). I chose Sparkle because they were within walking distance of my apartment, and I wanted a locally-owned service shop to do the work.

I couldn't be happier. I brought my car in for an inspection, and the individual working with me was kind enough to provide two estimates by email: one represented a bare-minimum repair to the exterior and the fender, and the other represented a complete paint job to essentially erase any evidence of damage. The difference in the estimates was substantial, so I greatly appreciated (1) being told that there were different levels of service I could get depending on my needs and (2) having the difference explained to me in person during the inspection and on paper in the estimates.

When I went to pick up my car after a day in the shop, the staff showed me the work they'd done, and gave me a small paint touch-up kit, which they showed me how to apply myself. (The kit was left-over from the repair, so I didn't pay for it, but I don't believe this is standard practice. Just saying: they're personable, and I felt treated like a person, not a customer.) Strongly recommend this shop!

Had a friendly body scratch and went to Sparkle because it's around the corner. Quite convenient. Helpful, nice people. The repair was timely and perfect. I could find no trace of the prior scratch and dent. I'll only go here for future problems.

Our 1 year old vehicle was totaled. After getting blindsided by another car, flipping onto the drivers side, sliding 20 feet, hitting a pole and popping back onto all 4 tires. it was totaled. At least that's what I thought. It's what the first person from our insurance company thought. But it wasn't what the 3rd party damage assessor thought.

So we were faced with having to repair it instead of replace it and deal with the probability of issues down the road and depreciated value when it came time to trade it in. I talked with the insurance company and tried to get them to get another estimate done. They wouldn't. I researched state consumer protection laws. Guess what. not much in terms of protection out there. I'll save boring you with the details.

So I next researched body shops and after reading more reviews than I care to admit, I settled on Sparkle. If it was going to have to get fixed I wanted it fixed by the most reputable shop I could find. Then the unbelievable happened. After the vehicle was towed to Sparkle and they got a look at it, they called me and explained that they needed to take a closer look but their initial feeling was that our vehicle was most likely not going to be easily repairable.

I was over the moon happy about this. The team at Sparkle did a detailed inspection, found more damage than the first inspector, contacted my insurance company to inform them that vehicle was a total loss, and our struggle was over. Thank you Sparkle.

This is a great business. I had some minor bumper damage, and they were very accommodating and helpful. When I dropped my vehicle off, they offered to give me a ride to get my rental car without me asking. They kept me updated throughout the process, and the end result was great. Not to mention, they fully detailed my car (complimentary), and it looked better than when I PAID to have it detailed at another business. I highly recommend Sparkle!

Sparkle is one of the best auto body shops I've been to. It was a complicated repair so the turnaround time wasn't as expected, but they kept me updated throughout the process and it looks like my car never got rear-ended. They even cleaned the interior and washed the exterior before I got it back. Would be my #1 choice if I ever needed auto body repair again.

Someone side swiped my car in my apartment parking lot, and you'll never believe what happens next. THE KIND SOUL LEFT A NOTE. I wanted to get two quotes for repairs, and I chose Sparkle as one of the auto body shops in Madison for their convenient location and the positive yelp reviews, honestly. I wasn't sure where to park my car in their lot because there looked to be a mixture of people parking their cars temporarily there and some that were being held for repairs.

I walked into the main office, was greeted very genuinely, we went outside right away and the manager, herself, took pictures of my car. We went back into the office, the other worker in there at the time made polite conversation with me and even told me about Art In next door which is now officially on my "gotta check it out" list, and I walked out 10 minutes later with a quote in hand.

Wow! I am absolutely blown away with the staff and quality of service at Sparkle Autobody. After losing to a concrete beam in a parking garage my vehicle was dented and scratched. I was very nervous to take my car to anyone but Zimbrick as the car was less than a year old and brand new but due to the vast difference in my quote between Sparkle and Zimbrick, I decided to go with Sparkle.

Have I said wow? I'm in shock with how amazing of a job they did. I can't even tell that my car was ever damaged. They told me they estimated three days and were spot on. They covered my rental vehicle in the mean time and kept me up to date on the status of my repair (Something that is incredibly rare in my experience). Not only that, but after getting into my car, I saw that they threw away a bit of garbage I had sitting around and tidied everything up and washed the car inside and out. Just an extra nice touch. I don't normally write reviews, but I couldn't resist due to the work and service of Sparkle Autobody. You guys rock! Thanks!

When I heard we were taking our body work all the way to the East side, I asked, "why?". Now after receiving the outstanding service and seeing the results, I get it. We dropped our car off for service on a Wednesday, and received it back the following Tuesday! That's a quick turn around during one of their busiest time of the year. They also have a reciprocal relationship with Enterprise. Sharon the office manager even dropped us off in front of Enterprise's doors to pick up our rental car, so we didn't have to wait around for Enterprise to pick us up (although that's their slogan, you'll have to wait for an actual representative to come). I'd recommend Eric Northrup to anyone that needs paint and/or body work done.

He communicated clearly with us throughout the process and was responsive regarding what he was going to be doing as well as the price for each procedure. The best part is they offer a lifetime warranty on their work! After our experience, we have total confidence in Sparkle and would not hesitate to recommend them, and use them again in the near future. It may sound cheesy, but really, it looks like nothing ever happened to my car!
