In a world of ever-increasing dominance by megacorporations, it's so refreshing to deal with businesses run by kind, honest and real people. My experience with Slipstream Autocare has been absolutely perfect so far. Everyone I've interacted with has been so very welcoming, perfectly transparent about prices and work, and done their best to minimize the costs for me and check in re optional work. I'll definitely keep coming back to Slipstream :

These guys have been around since 1981 that is incredibly rare. And they have a family type relationship with all of their customers. I'm very impressed by the quality of work. If you need car repairs on any make or model call these guys. You will be just as impressed as I am!

Slipstream Autocare worked on our car when we were stranded far from home. They squeezed us in and fixed our Vanagon and we were able to take it for the rest of our trip and back across the country. The first time I came to Slipstream, I was looking for a new auto service company due to a new move. In the past I had gone to dealerships to get my car serviced but always felt like a number rather than a customer with specific needs. I was impressed with Slipstream because they specialize in foreign vehicles and I have a Volkswagen. I was also assured because they have been operating in Boulder for decades.

The response for setting up appointments was very quick and the service time was even quicker. They drove my car and looked over many details apart from completing my standard oil change. They were able to make very important suggestions for services that I otherwise would have let slip through the cracks costing me a lot more money and problems later on down the road.

You can tell they have a lot of knowledge and integrity with their work and they really understand vehicles. I am planning to make them my go to auto care business as long as I am in Boulder.

These guys are the best mechanics I've ever been to. Honest, knowledgeable, hard working and great at communicating what needs to be done.

Most honest mechanic in Boulder! Ken was able to take me right away when I called and told him about the noise that I was hearing in my car other companies wanted to charge me $40-$60 just to listen to the sound I was hearing and he did it for me with no charge due to his first time customer policy. He was able to identify what was going on and called me within a two hour period about what needed to get done. He was very straightforward and reasonably priced! I was very pleased with his the service.

I recently went to Slipstream for an oil change and damaged wheel. Thanks to Bill, Ken, and the guys at the shop for keeping my 12 year old 150k mile Audi running through mountain roads and mechanical issues over the years.

Slipstream is awesome! Starting with when I call and explain my issue, they are able to fit me in right away. Often I can't get there during regular business hours so they are incredibly accommodating with me leaving my car for a few days and working out the logistics. They always call with a diagnosis and explain everything in a way that I can understand.

Often I have a lot of questions and they always take their time to explain things thoroughly. I definitely don't feel like I am being nickel and dimed here. Lastly, Slipstream looks after the person/family and not just the car. I have an older car that may need an expensive fix and Bill let me know that the fix may not be worth it, but that we could discuss my options, he could preform a pre purchase exam on a new car, go ahead and make the fix, etc if I wanted to. I truly feel I am being treated incredibly well here, and thus have recommended others go here as well. Thank you so much for everything, Slipstream!

Slipstream owner Bill is always a good listener and respectful. He and his employee Gunther do excellent work. Even on a minor item to adjust tire pressure for a better ride, as well as major repairs. They take the time to find a solution. They have integrity. I am grateful to them for the excellent care they give my Audi.

Great service! I'm an Uber driver and live in SOCO. While staying in a Westminster hotel and working in Boulder my throttle went out, so I was essentially stranded. They got me in, diagnosed problem that afternoon & back on the road the next day! Other shops I tried were a couple days out b4 getting me in. Thanks so much.

Honest folks here. Just what one needs when one's car catastrophically fails. Had my '92 Miata towed here when its tranny died and could have been massively taken advantage-of. But not by these folks. Thank you for being ethical in these times!

These guys are terrific. Straight up, fabulous. I have taken my Audi TT here for 13 years, and they have been meticulous. Matt is great, Bill is terrific. I love these guys.

I've only worked with this company once, but they did a great job and seem to be pretty trustworthy mechanics. They don't try to nickel and dime their customers or recommend unnecessary new parts. That is hard to come by these days and for that I give 5 stars.

If you own an Audi, this is the place to go in Boulder, hands down. I've been taking my '84 and '01 Audis here for years and have had nothing but great experiences. The staff is really friendly and the quotes are always fair and really well-explained. (They have even hoisted my car up to show me, item by item, issues that they found, before fixing.) The owner has gone out of his way countless times to help me out (including hooking me up with parts, advice on modifications and maintenance and has even let me store my car at the shop). These people are pros and earn an easy five out of five.

This place really is as good as it gets. The owner Bill, whom I've known for years is too legit to quit. They guy is getting up there in years, and he still builds race cars in his spare time AND works in the shop. He must love what he does, cause he loves to talk to me about what's going on with my car. The other guys are great, too. Always reasonable, never frustrating.
