When you drop your car off for an appointment in the morning we will perform our intial inspection and once it's completed later that day we will give you a call with an update with an accurate estimate and timeline for repairs.We have a cozy waiting room stocked with free coffee, WIFI and happy dog tails while you wait.
By law you have the right to have your vehicle serviced at any repair facility of your choice, that being said only the dealership can provide repairs covered by warranty or a recall at no cost to you. For any repairs or standard maintenance that is not covered by the manufacturer's warranty we advise our customers to bring their vehicles to an independent repair facility because many of the local shops in the Wheat Ridge, Arvada, Golden, Lakewood and other Denver suburbs can offer these maintenance services at a lower cost than the dealership.

Thank goodness I was just a couple blocks from family-owned Seyfer Automotive when my skid plate self destructed on the highway! Ron Seyfer zip-tied the plate back onto my car and had me back on my way to work in just a couple of minutes, and then had the new part ordered and available the next day (despite the crazy supply chain problems these days). Ron and the rest of the staff were very kind, honest, and knowledgeable.such a godsend!

Visited this shop for work on my F150. Being in the neighborhood I wanted to check them out. Most professional shop I've ever dealt with period. Kept me updated on progress of vehicle and worked around my schedule and had vehicle back to me in estimated time I was told. HIGHLY recommend and will definitely be back for any service needs I have in the future.

Had to get towed here when my car started making a weird noise and smell. They were super friendly and helpful! Quickly identified the issue, fixed it, and were able to do an oil change all in the same day! Thanks to Nikki for all the help!

Stopped in to see if they could break loose the front diff drain bolt that was stuck. Within 10 minutes I was leaving with the bolt loose and the knowledge that Ron and his team are great to work with, and will do all they can to help you out. It's great to have a garage like this in the neighborhood. I would recommend them to anyone needing work on their vehicle.

I live an hour away and have been using Seyfer Automotive for going on 4 years now. They service my entire company fleet and our 4 personal vehicles. It truly is hard to find the perfect combination of customer service and quality repairs in a shop. I trust Seyfer explicitly to give me honest feedback on needed service and repairs. If you want top notch, you have to pay for it, I strongly advise against going cheap on your Automotive repairs and maintenance. The entire staff here is phenomenal and truly care about their clients.

Long story short - me being new to the area, I wish I had found Seyfer sooner. Ron gave me the facts I needed to make a serious decision about my older model Honda. He didn't try to talk me into spending big bucks on a vehicle that was a poor investment, and gave me solid advice about my options. Five star experience. Glad I found this place, I will be back next time I need an honest opinion about a vehicle.

Called to inquire about pricing for a heater core flush and/or coolant flush. I recently ran some stop leak through my system because I was loosing coolant. Turns out it was just a hose that wasn't clamped down properly. But because I ran the stop leak with like no leaks, it did some clogging to my heater core giving me warm ish heat. My goal was to flush the stuff out of the system.

I was literally told a bunch of BS. Before getting an estimate of $294 for just a coolant flush. So I asked what about just a heater core flush then? They. and by they I mean Mr. "25 years of experience" said "we don't do that" and that "they've never heard of anyone doing that before". Pretty astonishing considering the whole "25 years of experience" thing.

He pretty much told me, because I have an older car (98 Honda Accord 4 cylinder, 176,000 miles) to go sell my perfectly functioning vehicle. What's his face didn't give his name but I wouldn't trust someone who's never heard of a heater core flush to work on my car. Be advised, this shop has shady characters. Also the place I normally go to which are Honda specialists did quote me for a heater core flush. Maybe it's because they have people with 30+ years of experience lol.

Got my car towed here because of a loud metal on metal screech coming from one of my wheels. They got it fixed up in under an hour at 3 PM just before they closed for a few days for New Years. Most auto shops do not fix things this fast! He didn't even charge me because he said it was so minor. Will only be coming here from now on!

The mechanic every dad would want his daughter to go to. Had my car towed to this mechanic because they were on the AAA approved list. They were completely professional and courteous in dealing with me. I had called a couple other places first and they all told me they wouldn't be able to look at my car for at least 1 week. Seyfer looked at my car, fixed it, and had it back to me within 24 hours.

And they called me with regular updates throughout the process. I was so happy with every aspect of my experience. Would recommend to anyone looking for a mechanic. I will definitely be using this place in the future.

This is my go-to place for auto repairs! This shop is reliable and trustworthy. They really know their stuff and always do an excellent job! I stopped bringing my vehicle to them when I lived further away, and that was a mistake. I will always use Seyfer as my auto mechanic going forward. I've spoken to several people at the shop, but I only remember Justin's name, and he is great! Always upbeat and nice, very professional. I 100% recommend this business!

I didn't actually use them as a mechanic but I called for advice and was really helped out. I drove across the country from California to Chicago and was having a check engine light issue. Whoever answered took a lot of time to listen to me and gave me really helpful advice that he did not profit from (which was to keep going!). Grateful there are kind people in the world not trying to take advantage of others at every chance. Thanks Seyfer!

Seyfer Automotive sent an email apologizing for not getting an estimate to me, so I offered a second chance to send me an estimate, I have been busy as well so have not looked into getting the engine replaced by others yet. Mistakes happen so if I receive a complete estimate I will delete previous review.

If I could give a 50 star rating, I would. I was involved in an incident where driver pulled out in traffic into my lane & I hit him. It knocked the tire off the rim & destroyed it, damaging the rim as well, plus some suspension components. It happened almost in their driveway. I saved the driver's insurance a tow by calling Seyfer's for repairs (Vehicle Was Parked Half A Block Down). Troy Seyer & his manager handled the situation & had me on my way as quick as they could. We have been taking our vehicles to Seyfer for many years, sometimes for easy maintenance items, sometimes for hard to diagnose problems. As two of our vehicles are over 20 years old with more than 200,000 miles, things tend to go wrong that are unusual and hard to diagnose. They never quit until they find the problem and solution, and always do a great job!

Seyfer automotive is outstanding. Working with Don and Donny is such a pleasure. We have absolute trust in them. We have had a repetetive problem with the computer on our car. They had to replace it for the third time and were so honest they said they weren't sure they had actually fixed the problem. They provide an incredible three-year warranty.

They even volunteered to keep our car and drive it for two months in order to diagnose the issue. I have never come across a company like Seyfer who will stop at nothing to provide excellent service.

The two guys that I was dealing with were more worried about what they were going to do on a Friday, my car repair was at the bottom of their list of things to do. Go to Wheat Ridge Auto Service on 44th. That's what I did and got my car fixed by Pros not CLOWNS!

Nice guys and some of the best in town at what they do. Don't find yourself at a random shop make sure to check these guys out for quality and service in the lakeside area. Best place in lakeside and that new liquor store might be the worst. Great prices too.

New to the area, I was looking for someone I could trust with knowledge and experience in dealing with older and specialty cars. I found Seyfer after a Google search and gave them a call. I spoke to the owner, Don about my car and its issues and he was very thorough and helpful. I set up an appointment and the mechanic who worked on my car, Myron was A+ and took care of all my concerns.

I thought their knowledge and skills were great and their prices were competitive - if not better. I also like the fact it's a family run business and has been around for over 50 years. That's says a lot in that line of work. I will definitively be back for any future needs.

Whew, saw these guys were getting slaughtered on the reviews so was hesitant but mechanics were repeatedly recommending Seyfers as THE place to go for classic car mechanics. They weren't kidding. The vehicles these guys are working on are impressive to even lay eyes on, and the service I got was great. The expertise exhibited by the mechanic Justin was obvious and everyone was friendly and helpful.

I am going to keep using them for sure! They did an inspection on a 77 Dodge for me which is modern for the stuff they work on, but I haven't found anywhere else I would take a classic in the area. Thumbs up!

I had very high hopes when I first called Seyfer for repair of my vehicle. I saw the high reviews on the web and thought perhaps I had found my new auto maintenance and repair home. I was told by my car dealer that I needed new shocks and struts on my vehicle. However, several people told me that was very strange for a vehicle with only 70k miles. So, I decided to get another opinion.

My first conversation with Seyfer put enough doubt in my mind that I wanted them to have a look to make sure that's what I needed. So, I took my car in and it was determined that I could benefit from shocks and struts. It would take one day and the cost was comparable. Donny then upsold me on some fluid flushes, which I agreed to. So the total became more than $1,300. Fine.

I believe you get what you pay for. Once I accepted the proposal and dropped off my car, the excellent customer service stopped. I called at the end of the day to see when I could pick up my car. I was then told it would take until mid-morning the next day.?! What?! No one told me this. As a business owner, I plan my days far in advance. I was told that I should have known with all of the work being done that it would take more than one day.

Except for the fact that I am not a mechanic or I would be fixing my own car. And I'm certainly not a mind reader! No problem, they said, they will put me in a rental car. So, I was given a rental car (hunk of junk) and drove that. Finally, at lunch time the next day, when I had heard nothing from them (again) I called to check on my car. I was told it would be done in an hour.

So I ran and errand and two and a half hours later (giving them some extra time) I gassed up my rental car to take it back to them, only to be told that my car was still not ready. I understand sometimes things take longer than anticipated, but honestly, where is the communication? So, I had to take the rental car that I had just gassed up to return and drive it for the rest of the day, meaning I had to stop and gas it up again.

How is this good customer care? I am in the service industry and I am not a difficult person. However, I am also a business owner and am busy and I expect that my time will be respected. It was not. The communication was not what it should have been and I was inconvenienced time and time again by Seyfer due to this lack of communication. It seems as though the work was done, but I don't know. Again, I'm not a mechanic. Time will tell, I suppose, and some lessons are expensive ones.

Had previous work done on another vehicle and they did good work at a fair price. So I took my truck in this last March for an alignment. I was quoted $69 initially. Over a two day period, I was told I needed a steering pitman arm because the spleens were worn. I was quoted $192 for parts and labor on that. I wonder if it really needed replacing because I crawled underneath the truck and looked at the old one before they took it off.

I did not see any signs that anyone had touched as it was still covered with grease and dirt, untouched. I have since thrown the old part away so no way to really tell. I still wonder how they came up with that conclusion. On the second day, I received a call that my truck was done and in alignment. The end bill was $449.98. I was pretty shocked at the bill and they told me the tech had some difficulty because Chevy put "tabs" on the upper arms that when the tabs are knocked loose, then the truck can be fully aligned.

I would have been fine with that and understand that this can happen. However, the truck drove the same damn way it did before I took it in to Seyfer for the alignment. So I took my truck to the Chevy dealer and had them check the alignment. They found the left Camber to be out of limits and both the left and right Toe to be "way" out of limits. They realigned my truck and it drives down the road just fine now as it should.

My total bill at the Chevy dealer was $89.95. Lesson learned. The Chevy dealer may not be the cheapest, but every time I've had them work on my truck it has been fixed right the first time. I was hoping to find an auto shop close to me I could rely on, but that is not the case in this instance. Needless to say, I will not be taking anymore of my vehicles to Seyfer.

On a side note, maybe the machine they use for alignment needs recalibrating because I have the computer printout from both Seyfer and Chevy and the Chevy printout showed where the problem was.

Justin at Seyfer Automotive is fabulous to work with. We've been bringing our vehicles to Seyfer for years. They've replaced the transmission and countless belts, oil changes, pumps, and filters for our cars and trucks. Justin always does his best to accommodate our schedules and when we blast in at the last second on Friday night to pick up our vehicle, he's just as patient and informative as when we're on time.

This used to be my family auto repair shop. They're friendly enough, but it's easy to be friendly to someone who's repeatedly giving you money. The basic situation: I took my car here on numerous occasions for the same issue. A series of repairs were made, none of which actually fixed the vehicle. They were never apologetic for the fact that after half a dozen times, they still couldn't figure out the problem.

I had mistakenly thought that because they also did business with my parents, this was an auto shop I could trust. I hate to use this word, but I honestly felt scammed. I've since switched to Sundance Auto, who I can say is above all an honest auto shop that will not rip you off. It's hard to find a good, trustworthy mechanic, but Seyfer is the last place to look.

I took my car into Seyfer recently for a check engine light and an overheating issue --coolant boiling out all over the engine, yikes! They were able to check it out within a day and let me know what was wrong and what it would take to fix it. It was a pretty big issue but I was expecting it for an 8 year old car. They didn't give me any high pressure sales talk or up-selling.

I asked them to perform regular tune-up maintenance anyway in addition to the main work. I'm glad I did. My car runs better now than it has in awhile. They even reset the car's clock after reconnecting the battery! I recommend Seyfer to others and will definitely be back for future service needs.
