I've been going to Serge's for years. They are honest, always provide great service, and have fair prices.

DISHONEST, LIAR and Rip Off: I have few terrible experiences with Serge Auto repair. Finally have to write review. Both Serge and Barkev are very Rude, arrogant and unprofessional. They install cheap after market parts and charge three times the price of part saying it's a Genuine part, also charge extra hour labor. All they care is how to rip off customer.

Their diagnosis is incorrect and did not re-install under engine splash shield after repair when inquired they said they don't have it. Would not recommend even to my enemy. Please stay away, save your time and money.

Serge did a really great job with my car. Another auto mechanic wanted to charge $1500 and I wasn't confident that he was going to figure out what the real problem was. However Serge correctly evaluated the problem and did the entire job for $500! He really spent a lot of time trying to work out exactly what the problem was, including driving back-and-forth on the freeway with my car to determine specifically what he needed to do to the car.

He got the job done faster than he said he would and I got the car back the same day instead of the next day, which was great! Thank you Serge and all the other guys at Serge's Automotive!

Very odd experience with these guys. I had check engine light on and problems with coolant. They took my car, after inspection told me about misfire problem in the third cylinder. Then called me to ask for additional time to fix everything: they didn't understand what was wrong with the car and needed one more day. After two days I got the car and almost immediately the check engine light came on again.

They charged me with $330! As they provided a warranty I drove to the car repair shop and asked WTF. They checked it and told me that it's a different problem even though the error code was exactly the same (P0303), so they could do nothing and most likely it's the coolant burning problem and charge will be $3000. Cool, huh? And why didn't you, guys, saw this horrible problem while you were checking the car during two days?

After all, I went to another mechanic shop and they told me that problem with misfire wasn't fixed and what was done at Serge's is big big mystery. I don't no what was that: the total incompetence or just simple deliberate fraud. Think, the last one.

Stopped by for a quick oil change. Easy guys to work with, fair pricing. Would come here again.

We have been taking our cars to Serge's Automotive for several years and have found Serge and his mechanics to be extremely polite, efficient and very helpful. I always feel like a valued customer and appreciate the excellent work done on my car and the personal service. We have had general car repairs as well as new tires and brakes. Great service overall!

I dropped my car off using the early bird service which was convenient for me. They diagnosed the problem and gave me a fair quote within 90 mins to replace the starter. It took a couple of hours longer than they initially promised but that was OK, they were very busy went I picked up my car. Price was reasonable and they did not try to sell me anything I did not need. Owner is friendly and I plan to go back there again. if they do another good job I will raise the rating to a 3

Replaced the rear brakes and front axles and boots. The job was done quickly and the price was excellent. I definitely recommend this place. Everyone at the shop was friendly and very helpful! They will give recommendations for things that actually need to be done and will be honest in letting you know if the fix is an immediate need or if you can wait. The estimate given for the work was actually more than what was charged.
