Scandinavian Import Servicenter Auto Back in February, Edwin wrote a letter to our dedicated Saab owners. The letter explained Scandinavian's commitment to servicing your Saab for many years to come. We've loved Saabs for a very long time and. It's been quite some time since the last Saab rolled off the assembly line. The little Swedish brand famously born from jets broke the mold in areas of safety, comfort and technology.

Bogdan recently went to Detroit for the 2016 North American International Auto Show. Here's what he had to say about the 2017 Volvo S90: The new S90 has made its official debut!

Did a Positive Crankcase Valve (PCV) system replacement. Their price was okay, not great and a bit more than what I found checking online. The thing that bothered me was that I was also charged $54 diagnostic fee to determine the cause of a small noise the car was making, related to the need for this repair. I do not think I should have been charged this extra fee for several reasons. First, I provided them with a computer generated report from the onboard computer that diagnosed the problem to involve the PCV system.

I discussed this noise at drop off, and the person I spoke with said it is perfectly consistent with the leak in the PCV system, which was the exact issue. Second, if they had simply done the repair that I requested, they would have discovered there was no need to do other tests and incur this additional charge, since the PCV repair fixed the issue.

If they had taken the approach of fixing the exact problem that I came to them with and which had been identified in the report from the onboard computer, I would not have had this additional charge. When I raised this issue to the mechanic TJ, he told me that he does not rely on any external information and must do his own diagnostic. That is fine, but it should have resulted in me paying the full amount of the repair and not an additional fee to diagnose a noise that would disappear once the needed repair was complete.

Clyde provided us excellent service by being friendly, informative, and suggesting options. The shop could not duplicate our error, so we just paid the diagnostic fee. Sadly, the person I communicated with about having a duplicate key made seemed offended when I inquired about supplying the materials (a blank key and remote module) so that we could just pay for programming. We are a family of six and need to do all we can to save. Not at all sure why that inquiry was treated as inappropriate. All in all, a good experience.

They can keep your Volvo on the road forever. Knowledgeable service for a lot less than the dealership.

I had a really good experience here. I brought my Volvo C30 in for scheduled maintenance which cost about half of my previous trip to the dealer. They found a very dangerous problem that they repaired for a reasonable price. Services: Oil change, General repairs & maintenance

If you own a Volvo, skip the dealerships or any other repair shops. From the top down they are the best in Maryland. My engine locked and I thought i would be covered under a warranty but was not. Towed it in to Scandinavian and they brought it back to life without it needing a new engine. They explain everything and never try to pressure sell you like service agents do.

They give you great prices on parts and their expert technicians are outstanding. Its been 4 months and no issues and I plan on taking the vehicle back to get the timing belt done! Owner of a 2012 Volvo S60

As a first time customer, I was pleased with the service and honesty of the staff. They worked on my Mini Cooper and fixed a Service Engine light I was unable to clear. They also did the correct diagnostics to make sure there was no other issues that would trip the code light. I also took my BMW in for A/C service. Now it works great. They fixed both cars for a fair price and called to let me know what they were doing. I'll be using Scandinavian Import Service again.

Great place to get my 2009 Volvo fixed. I almost paid 1050 at another place called Volvo Service Center, they also said I needed other stuff that was not really needed, my granpa is a Mechanic. They did my timing belt, oil changed and fix light bulbs for $647! I am always going to take my car there because they are honest, punctual and very professional. Thank you so much for saving me money and taking care of my car within one day. I love Scandinavian Import Service!
