Even though they didn't have the part I needed, the cashier went above and beyond to try and find it. When he put the name of the part in the computer, it was very hard to find. After 2 refunds, I gave up. Great customer service! Even the other cashiers were very pleasant.

Talk to parts department over phone about a window motor for my car. Was told they have part. Drove 40 minutes to salvos on Loch Raven just for them to tell me that they didn't have the part they said that the part shows up in the computer but they didn't have it in stock very disappointed they should check first and make sure they have the part before telling the customer that they dude have the part and stop what he will update a computers. So, if you Eva X4 Parts over the phone make sure you ask the parts person to check the shower to make sure they do have it in stock and it's not a computer error. For this reason I give them only two stars

These Guys were professional, cordial, and welcoming. They were having a conversation when I walked in the store one of the guys paused the conversation by saying "lets take care of this customer 1st when can resume this convo once she leaves." He was definitely old school and I can appreciate a Man with manners. I just needed power steering fluid but they proceeded to assist me in my purchase to be sure I brought the right product.

I didn't spend much time in the store but the hospitality was much needed. The guys directed me to the correct aisle I needed and older gentlemen walk with me & asked more questions to be sure I got what I was in search of. They asked me if I needed anything else and sent me on my way. Thank you guys for making it easy and keeping it simple. MASK ARE REQUIRED INSIDE THE STORE!

These guys ALWAYS SHOW UP for work! I never expected the staff to all be mechanically inclined.and so helpful. I always get exactly what I need.never sold a bunch of junk. SALVO is my first stop for every car need. Love this place and the staff!

I needed several parts for my car and knew very little about them. An employee name Phillip Henderson was extremely helpful. He explained all options that I had and when a part I needed was not at this location he immediately sent someone to another location to obtain it for me within an hour. Professionalism & customer care was definitely a positive factor as to why I will go back.

Salvo rocks. Has the feeling of a small town shop with knowledgeable and friendly guys working here. They have some of the best retail prices I've ever seen for Axles and quality branded suspension parts also, not too sure how they make money? Maybe they don't like screwing people over, which I appreciate. I bought a set of KYB struts from Salvo for my 2013 Mazda3 for only $90 each, that's about what most online retailers were selling for AND way less than Mazda or any other distributer who sells KYB. I'll continue to be loyal to Salvo as long as I live in Baltimore. Oh PS, why don't y'all have a store in the city? Only area of opportunity.

In and out so quickly that I hardly noticed that I was in there. Needed brake light bulb. Guy was in the parking lot helping out another customer when I asked if he could look to see what bulb was out. He had it almost ready to go upon entering the store. Paid and within a couple of minutes, I was back on the road! Kudos to a trusted team of salvo's that I've been going to since the mid 80's!

I needed an exhaust gasket so I went to the back desk and asked Johnathon. He mumbled something then walked off for about 20 minutes then came back and said, "I'm stuck, ask that other guy." So I waited another 15 mins to ask the other guy (didn't get his name). He said he would look for it. He then asked Johnathon to look for it again. after another 20 minutes Johnathon said, "we don't have it." So i wasted an hour there which meant I was in the hot sun an extra hour working on my car. (How did I get the gasket? I went to Advanced Auto. The guy pulled the gasket out from behind the counter is less than a minute).

A friend recommended I go here to get a good deal on car parts, but my experience with the staff was HORRIBLE! It took a good 3 minutes for one of the 3 associates to acknowledge me. They knew I was there because they kept looking me in my face, but no one greeted me. Once they finally finished their personal conversation someone not very friendly spoke to me.

After he gave me pricing in a way that seemed as if I was bothering him, I said thanks and began to walk away expecting a "You're welcome, have a good day", but nothing they just turned away and finished their conversation. I went to the next counter to ask for a manager or a customer service number and no differently than the other employees she looked at me crazy and said "Idk, you can back there and ask one of them. ". I said no thanks and left. I dispise bad customer service and refuse to give them my business.

This chain is like your old fashion hardware store, they've got it. They typically have everything you need parts wise on the shelf or at a nearby store. The best part is I shop around and they are consisitently the best priced parts over Advance & Autozone. Their MAS chassis parts are better than the Moog and their US Motor Works water pumps have never let me down. This place is a great family run chain, and I always like to keep my local business owners my first choice!

LAST RESORT FOR HARD TO FIND OLDER CAR PARTS. Be willing to shell out the extra $$$ though. Everything is overpriced compared to the big box auto parts stores. If your car is 2002 or newer - forget it. They most likely won't have the part. Counter help sucks. Most of the younger guys have attitudes. Once in a while you'll get a seasoned veteran who gets satisfaction from helping a customer, but its rare.

Back in the day, the Back River Neck Rd store was the place to go if you needed the latest and greatest, but not now. The stores I've visited recently are full of nothing but overpriced NOS - New Old Stock that goes back decades. They would do better to close down the stores and sell off that old stuff on Ebay. Sorry to say this chain of family owned stores is stuck in a time warp.

When the sign on the door says, "Free wiper installation;" there should be free wiper installation. Instead, my request was initially met with a blank stare and then another employee said, "I don't have enough people" and walked away. I didn't even get an apology or a suggestion of when to come back for service. Classy.really classy.

I'd come to Salvo over AAP and AZ nine out of ten. Knowledgeable staff, who pinpoint exactly what you need (or the best way to get it). They try to keep a competitive mix of brands except with filters(FRAM) and spark plugs and wires(Autolite). Other than that.
