S&S Transmission Specialist has established in 1987. We are thankful to have our loyalty customer using our excellence services over the years. We recently rebuilt CVT transmission on 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek due to no fluid inside the transmission. We proud that we did a good job on this CVT transmission rebuilt. Also, we are able to build most of imports CVT transmission for Nissan and Honda.

We were pulling a travel trailer to Utah. I thought the transmission was acting odd, so we stopped at S&S to get it checked out The people there were friendly and professional. Turns out that I was not accustomed to driving into a 30 MPH headwind. They told me it was okay and offered to service the transmission since it was well past recommended service. Mary who answered the phone was as nice as could be and knew what she was talking about. They told us what was wrong quickly but unfortunately our truck has the most expensive transmission so we couldn't afford to get it done. If you're in the Amarillo area and need work done definitely call them first

While moving from New Mexico to Houston the transmission decided to blow all the fluid out of it about 5 miles from the Texas New Mexico border. We were referred to S&S and are so glad. They had the truck towed within a couple of hours and diagnostics done very quickly. Even with the holidays they were able to get it done quickly with an awesome guarantee and the best customer service ever. Son was so very thorough. Tony and I thank you all tremendously!

After a blown transmission at the beginning of a cross country trip. Son and his team rebuilt the transmission in my 1976 chevy van. The day we picked it up began a six month, 10,000 mile trip around the United States. The transmission preformed without a flaw! It was tested! Bulletproof, just like Son said it would be! These guys are top notch!

Went here for 2nd opinion. Son and his team are very welcoming. They were efficient and informative on the replacement of my transmission. Son will walk you through everything thing that will need to be done, as well as extensive care for your vehicle after work is complete. I've had plenty of work done by other shops, but never had a shop be so thorough and informative. Their prices are on par with other shops, but the care they give is the bonus.

Everyone was very helpful, Son explained everything that needed to be done and walking me through aftercare of my visit to help prolong the life of my rebuilt transmission. Very fast and great quality work Everyone in the staff I talked to was very kind and helpful. Definitely would recommend to anyone and everyone who is needed transmission work.
